boxing video games

I love knockout kings 2001 and 2002. They are tons of fun. Didnt care or fight night round 3 mostly brcause movement feels like you're stuck in the mudd and I hate when you get blocked and frozen. 4 is okay but Champion is better imo.

All the fight night games are ace IMO, Id defo tweak some of the stats though and as Enzo says - Swerve Don Kings game at all costs its Wank! Cant beat a bit of Old Skool Sega Mega Drive 16bit though - Evander Holyfield's Real Deal Boxing! Fukkin Ace played it a few weeks ago for a laugh, used to always make Tyson! Or go BEAST the green cheaqt guy with full stats! lol

If you want he best boxing video game ever, get a saga genisis & get greatest heavyweights. That is the greatest boxing game I have ever played in my life, real talk. When you beat the game, they gave you that fighters entire boxing history as a pro, gangsta $hit.

id say fight night rd 3 is the best one ever made. ill destroy anybody at that game. but rd 4 and champions are good too. Agreed. I'd also destroy anyone at that game.

Fight Night 4 ps3/xbox 360 for me. Fight night Champion seems broken to me, they should have just kept the gameplay of 4 or at least kept the controls But yeh Fight Night 4 imo is probably the most realistic boxing game available.

If you want a short but addictive challenge, try Evander Holyfield Real Deal Boxing... sega megadrive hahah... just use an emulator and lose your life for one or two days :boxing:

Fight night Champion and it's not even close!! DOn't be cheap and buy the 4 no one plays it, it's old and it's crap compared to Champion.

The fight nights for PS3 are amazing games.

champion is a fukkin joke It has a very deep roster and great graphics but the gameplay is broken

I like Fight Night Round 3. I only have a PS2 so I have never played Fight Night Round 4, but maybe one of these days I may get a PS3 or Xbox 360 and get Round 4. Just for the record, I personally prefer ESPN's announcers over Showtimes anouncers and I may even slightly like them better then HBO's announcers. As long as they didn't put people like Max Kellerman or Roy Jomes Jr on it, then I wouldn't mind them using HBO's announcers for the next Fight Night game. Hahaha! Same here!

Fight Night Round 3 is the best game ever! If you haven't if I highly suggest that you rent it and then after that, BUY IT :D

The EA Sports games have always delivered the best sporting games ever since I was in Junior High School. I have played all of the Fight Night games. Champion is pretty good because it has a power modifier. You can throw the jab with power. I played 4 and didn't really like it other than the pushing. The BEST Fight Night in my opinion is Round 3. I'd recommend that one for the beauty of destroying your friends at home or online when you master the parry/stun haymaker. It pisses people off. Especially when they were winning and became overconfident. That's my recommendation. Fight Night Round 3.

victorious boxers ps2 are still the best boxing games ive played im sure they work for ps3 too but yeah fight night rd 3 and 4

Totally agree on the announcers - EA should get the HBO team and Buffer (obviously). I think it's a real problem getting a decent roster. If you're making an NFL game you buy the NFL licence. For a boxing game you have to sign up boxers individually. There's egos too. Is Floyd going to let you put him in your game if you're going to make Pacquiao better than him?

The boxing games need to be a lot better at least have some good fighters in the game it would be cool if they had the HBO crew or SHOWTIME crew talk on the game instead of the ESPN guys I can't stand those guys.
