Do kid yourself, My footwork would be better too with the level of competition that Cotto has faced since Pac, I like Cotto but he isn't a better fighter now than before when he first face Rito, He gets destroy now against any elite, I would even pick a 38 year old JMM to beat him in a 12 round fight. And Manny's competition since Cotto isn't anymore superior.

So Bradley is too much of a risk.. So you would give Pac full credit if he fights and beats Bradley.. Absolutely. But it's not going to happen though, Cotto's carcass is in for another beating.

Berto??? He was a paper champion.. He feasted on bums (with the exception of Callazo, and people thought he lose that fights)... His rankings were high up there because guys were either losing or has moved up to LMW... berto was still better than mosely who wasnt any kind of champ at all.

Mosley was past his best, and only had won 1 damn fight at WW in the previous 3 years going into the Pac. I repeat only won 1 damn fight in the previous 3 years going into the Pac fight. And, was 0-1-1 going into the Pac fight. And, hadn't won a fight in any weight-class for 2 years going into the Pac...I repeat hadn't won a fight in 2 years going into the Pac fight. So you bet your ass Berto was not only more deserving but a better option for Pac. Your problem is that you're going by name, by fighters reputation, looking at what they did yesteryear. But, more importantly than who is when man.

Why would Collazo be an option at the time? Williams wasn't a better fight than Mosley at the time. Well maybe, both would have been useless at the time. I agree.. But Mosley and Marg are better fights compared to Berto, Callazo, and any other options at that time.. The only fights better than Marg and Mosley at that time was Williams (apart from May as well)... Why would Collazo be an option at the time? Williams wasn't a better fight than Mosley at the time. lol, u cotto stans are sad. but hey, its your fighter's funeral. u know i've heard this plenty of times as recent as cotto/marg 2 where everyone said the 2nd fight would be the same as the 1st and blah blah blah...not sayin PAC is like marg in any way shape or form. my point is that nethin can happen and yes cotto has a trainer this time around, and yes if he doesnt weigh drain and the fight is at a reasonable catch weight (which i dont see y it should be if pac wants cottos title ) then i give cotto a legit chance at beating pac. pac makes alot of mistakes as a fighter and has been gettin hit alot more as of late! Dont count cotto out just yet, lets wait and see what happens cuz he could possibly win if the fight is at the right weight. im just sayin

Just because he looked better against a flat footed Margarito doesn't mean that he actually has improved that much. Cotto is still the same fighter, and even though he had a good strategy against Margarito I still don't think he's the more dangerous boxer from his 3 options. Marquez and Bradley have much better footwork than Cotto, and even if they don't have the power to KO Manny they are more technical and have a style that's more suited to outbox Pacquiao, while Cotto on the other hand would be easier for Pac.

Cotto can't beat JMM due to styles. He's too much of a sucker for the uppercut. JMM wouldn't stop him quickly due to the size difference, but he would beat him up over twelve one sided rounds or stop him late. Bradley-Cotto would be a more competitive fight. Bradley-Marquez would be a competitive fight too I would at least think. Either that or Marquez suprises us and wins that one easily, because I can't see Bradley winning over JMM in a one-sided fashion. Agree with you homie..
