How many people are we talking here? 3? 4? 10? I doubt even 10 people think that Vitali is prime right now. I haven't kept count of all the moronic crap I hear on here, but I know its been more than a few. And only an idiot would think Vitaly is prime right now or even has been for a few years. Rest assured though, there are plenty of them out there.

I've had more than a few posters say "you can't say Lewis was past prime. Look at Vitaly, he's older than Lewis was than and at the top of his game", and other such things. Now the spin cycle starts working and all the focus is on how old he is and how many injuries he has had etc etc. I expected him to win, and that was it. As far as Im concerned, when you start hitting the 37's and 38's any night can turn you into old news. Martinez is next in line for this, imo. I didn't expect a knockout .. maybe some did.

Who the hell said Vitali was in his prime? I'd love to see a quote from someone. I've seen prime, top of his game, peak and other colorful descriptions for the current version of Vitaly (before the Chisora fight). I think its a big reason he gets criticized so strongly.

Over-judgmental, really? What fight did he show the ability to adjust and go to a plan B with? When has he ever had to go to a plab B? Losing 2 maybe 3 rounds doesn't mean ditch the gameplan. He has a winning gameplan that NO ONE has exposed yet.

Before the Chisora fight, 'Being 40' or 'Being shot' wasn't mentioned by anyone. I don't think it's right to use that as en excuse now. In fact many on here were saying Vitaly was in his prime and in the best shape of his career. Most of us knew that wasn't true, but for the many who said it...don't change up now. If he had knocked Chisora cold in the second round you would be using that to justify your words. He didn't though....so if you live by the sword, man up and die by the sword.

it's not just pressure, it's about throwing punches, vitali like wald is not a counterpuncher, thus when you are punching, he is in defense mode(usually hands straightened out and leaning back), wlad is a better grappler though But why isn't he adjusting to certain situations better? Is because he pretty much has never had to? Is it because you can't? Is it because his trainer doesn't know how to make the adjustments? He a great fighter, but with his height he should better trained for when a guy works his way inside. That is just my opinion. Im not taking anything away from him at all, I just don't see him as the flawless fighter some do.

Everyone gives Haye crap about his game plan, but yet it was the one I knew he was going to use. I think his game plan was to try to have Wlad pissed off enough to try to KO him and walk into traps. You can't just go straight in on Wlad or he will 1-2 you to death. To his credit Wlad was smart enough not to take that bait, but he made no real attempt to live up to his words of taking him out either. It was 2 guys in the ring scared of the others power. lol, ALOT of people were saying the haye-wlad fight was gonna be boring and both would fight cautious with haye looking to counter but when it happened everyone was pissed, im guessing because of the excuses by haye more than anything else, haye won about 2 rounds with alot being really close because nothing was really happening except for wlad throwing a cautious jab to the wind that gave him the nod due to activity

I dont like hearing about injuries as an excuse for a bad performance, as we are getting into 'toe' territory. After all that bad **** after the fight its hard to actually see it for what it was, and that was an extremely good effort by Chisora. I cant work the guy out! He has absolutely no discipline or self control outside the ring, but during the fight he stuck to his task dilligently and managed to give Vitali more problems than anyone else has since he came back.
