I am far from a Floyd fan or Pac fan with that said both sides have been to blame. When Pac was at his apex Floyd wanted tests Pac did not "Let the commission do it's job" remember that? Then it was Arum (who robbed Pac blind and will continue to do so) was looking to build a stadium for the fight. That was absurd. Then Pac fights JMM a 3rd time most people thought he lost (I did) Then Pac fights Timmy and gets robbed and earns the sympathy that JMM had been getting, but the plan backfires on Arum because no one wants to see the rematch. Then Pac gets sparked by JMM and the Pac train is officially derailed (all the hype died that night and the end of the gravy train for an ATG fighter) Floyd fights some red headed unbeaten 40 something fight novice who generates all of the interest and the money and PPV #s for that fight (just like Oscar did before him) And Floyd plays keep away for 12 rounds (and beautifully I must add) And Floyd once again declares he is the PPV king The comeback in China against a B level punching bag, and Pac boxes beautifully but gets no credit for it, and the PPV #s officially declare the king is dead. Now Arum greases some palms at the W.B.C. (WE BE CHEATING) and Pac is now the 1 contender for Floyd's belt, and Floyd says fu@c that **** I won't be railroaded into a fight and line Arum's pockets at the same time. IMO can't blame either side pro boxing is a business first a sport second, it's all about the money, Arum is looking to cash Pac out and now Floyd is not buying. That fight is WELL past it's sale date anyway. Flame on!

That actually has a ring to it! LOL It took some doing on Bellew's part for me to actually root for Adonis. (forget his past everyone has one, but it is something about this kid I just don't like) I never saw Bellew before this fight but that saucer eyed fool put on a show pre fight with his hard words and weigh in antics, and during the fight he didn't (Fight that is) And finally when he did decide to open up in the 4th and seconds later he decided that was not a good ideal. Adonis knocked Bellew into another division. Now only if Adonis signs to fight Kovalev, the Russian can rid me of my other unfounded annoyance by sparking Adonis so I don't have to see his face on HBO anymore. Your thoughts?

In the immortal words of Sir Elton Hercules John these were some GREAT fights tonight! The Cuban and Russian getting it on in Germany, with the Cuban getting dropped hard gassed and on the brink of being called an ex champion bails it out with a beautiful one hit quitter. And the heart break and controversy in jolly old England, the young upstart almost finishing the iron chinned champ only to have the Cobra Bite back late in the fight and the referee taking the climax and truly robbing the fighters and the fans of a clear cut victory, disgusting. Boxing is truly the KING of all sports!! I LOVE THIS *****!!! So lets hope Pac Man and Rios continue this trifecta of cracking main events.

Was watching the fight will my dad (I'm 3rd generation boxing fan) and my dad said the Wilder vs Firtha fight looked like a baby giraffe vs a baby hippo but the giraffe is lucky because he hits like a baby elephant. LOL Then he said the same thing I was thinking, "Wilder kept his cool and did the job, and all of those fights have calmed his nerves but has not done too much for his technique and to keep feeding him cans until he can cash out with a big fight and hell who knows he's got fast hands and power so he has a punchers chance against almost anyone". I agree, what are your thoughts?

Just watched the Rocky vs Mile High fight again and DAMN Ruslan's hand speed when he is throwing those short POWERFUL shots in combos is very impressive. Its easy to shoeshine fast shots like that with no power but Rocky fires those shots with hellish leverage and power. I don't think any of the other bangers around his weight will beat him because of that. The others might hit harder or just as hard but that hand speed will be too much for them IMO. Your thoughts?

I have been a fan of Marquez since watching him live at the Great Western Forum (I miss those days, they had some great fights there) And back then when the 3 modern Mexican Greats were all Featherweights (MAB, JMM, and EM) I felt that JMM was being ducked by MAB and EM because he had a very good chance of beating them both and the main reason that they could duck him without getting to much flack about it was because JMM really had no fan base to speak of. (High risk, low reward) And even to this day in Mexico (I'm Mexican, born in Monterrey, Mexico raised in So Cal) JMM is respected but not loved like his fellow Mexican warriors, and his last fight there were so many empty seats it was like someone pulled the fire alarm. (partially due to the ever exciting Bradly) What do you think is the reason for the lack of support?

By natural weight class i mean cutting 5 pounds or less, or coming in on fight night and gaining 5 or less pounds. (We will of course exclude the Heavyweights) The only ones i can think of are Pac, Marquez, Mayweather and Cunninham (when he was a Crusier) Who else?

Wlad is an impressive specimen, the classic brains meets brawn with impressive athletic ability for a man his size. So i am truly baffled why he chooses to fight like a *****, many have called Wlad china chinned but that is not the case he has had too won too many fights and won the gold and you CAN NOT do that with a bad chin. Even the fighters that did stop him were punchers, and out of the three only one was a true spark out the others were him gassing and then panicking. So his choice to fight this way is very disappointing for a fan of the sport we all love. This is not a hate thread but i am just expressing my disappointment because i was hoping for an entertaining fight. your thoughts?

I was watching his fight vs Hanks and i said "Damn he reminds me of someone" and my lady friend said "Curly from the Three Stooges!" and i said "Exactly you must be reading my mind!" Ruiz is my boy and Senor Bimbo has some skill but from now on he will be known as Curly! (No disrespect to Curly Howard he was the ****ing man!) A good win for my man Curly and he made it look easy. And the best and strangest part is all the haters Curly has just because of his body type, to me that is just weird.

Which for me kind of sucks, i really enjoyed the Pac Man fights in Vegas, all the hype, the excitement, and all of the fine Asian chicks in town. Damn I am really going to miss that *****

The man did his fighters dirty but he could stack a PPV

I just watched Mitchell vs Banks so called fight and i remember reading threads about a fixed fight, that fight was not fixed it is just that Mitchell is really a garbage fighter and Banks has "sparring partner syndrome" which is very real. People in the biz know that if a guy is a sparring partner too long it sometimes changes his ring mentality and that is exactly what i saw in Banks, he has sparred to many rounds being the guy to give the "Man" just enough work but not too much work, and he will never get that fire to fight back.

Are boxing skirts the new craze? Dont get me wrong i am down for cool boxing shorts, but the key word being SHORTS not SKIRTS

That would be the biggest fight in Mexico and i am sure Bob would co promote with Golden boy if he knew his man would have a better then even chance of winning (just because of the size and chin factor in favor for his man) Chavez wants it and golden boy could make a catch weight at 157 to try to drain Chavez even more. The fight would almost if not be a big as the Mayweather fight (which is not going to happen) I am Mexican and i would actually like to see that fight more What do you think?

Last night for me was by far the most enjoyable night i had this year watching the fights. Viloria vs Marquez / Roman Gonzalez vs Juan Estrada Great fights! (was going to go to that fight but i am a little sick) Banks vs Mitchell (who cares if Seth got sparked, i will pay to watch a Low skilled heavyweight with you get me or i get you fighting style) and Broner vs DeMarco (the kid is the GOODS!) all and all the best night of the year! Has someone had a better night this year watching the fights?

Lol, let me be the first to say that i hope every fighter from a rough past betters themselfs from this boxing game, but the sh1t these two were talking about the ex-champs was very disrespectfull. Champion: a title and place where these two have never been and may never achieve only to get sparked in dominating fashion made me fell all warm and fuzzy inside. hopefully these two have learned to respect someone who has earned the most sought after title in fighting sports, Champion ex or otherwise. that is all

I've been watching boxing for 35 years and you know it when you see it, saw it with Roy, and SRL that talent and showmanship all in one package and if anyone is hateing on his actions thats the whole point. Someone who puts it on the line and makes people feel something wheather its good or bad he makes you feel it. good for him boxing needs more strong personalitys mached with talent, Hell the WWE is not even real and people love it for the same reason strong personalitys good or bad

I read on a boxing website that tim is an ex-marine then i looked on his personal webpage and it said nothing about the marines so i think if he was that info would be there for sure, so i think it is just some hack making sh!t up to add to the fight. Does anyone know for sure?
