That does seem to be the case, It takes a thief to catch a thief, and when that thief is caught they get full membership in the fraternity.
It is so messed up how this sport works. One quick silly example... I was checking out the site for the IBO the other day and right on the top it says "The only sanctioning body with unbiased rankings"... that alone there just tells you, these organizations work individually (of course) but with their own motives and with a sense of selfish self-enrichment. That opens the door to a number of corrupt possibilities.
From the judging, to the drug testing, to the commissions, to the sanctioning bodies... it is all run so independently and with such an unhealthy rivalry. They work like they are each others competition, not like they are working together for good of the sport.
Then I stand corrected on that fact.
But I stand by everything else.
EDIT: He might have a degree and Conte might be lacking one, but let me ask you which one seems more educated when they speak?
It's not really good to judge one's intelligence based on how well they speak. There are a lot of geniuses who are poor speakers.
But Conte makes lots of mistakes when speaking, it's just that many people don't catch it! And then you have these boxing journalists that are so corrupt, that even if they spot it, they are silent about it because they have a sort of 'friendship' with the guy. Ariza makes mistakes when he speaks too. To me, they are equals with the way their run their mouths recklessly, and it would be hard to say who is more foolish.
I guess I would pick Conte, because he runs his mouth recklessly on almost a daily basis. Ariza doesn't do it so frequently.
Not at all. He can now officially join VADA and work with them! That's what you need to qualify for a job there, get caught then you're a good guy. Catch me if you can!
Or do like Memo throw everyone under the bus in court, develop 15 undetectable steroids and get to work at USADA!
These organizations are more corrupt than the conditioning coaches themselves.

Conte is not and was not sharp enough to make his own PEDs. He's not that educated in the sciences as people assume (i.e. he has no college degree). Alex Ariza actually went to school and has a diploma. Memo Heredia also went to school and has a diploma, and his father is a chemistry professor. Their backgrounds are worlds away.
Conte was more of a smart businessman, not so much scientist. Boxing is so shady, you watch, Ariza will continue to have a good career. Look at Conte, look at Memo. Their pasts are waaaaaay more infamous and checkered than Ariza's. Ariza is a goddamn saint compared to them. :lol1:

No one gave that pimp anything he took it with his left hand.
Conte was sharp enough to make his own PEDs.
There is a thousand strength and conditioning coaches, and all of the info needed to be one is free on the net.
Arum just threw his ass under the bus.
And this dumb mofo just had his last high profile fighter in the biggest fight of his life piss dirty.
And is known to be a distraction to fighters and there camps because he wants the limelight for himself.
Yes your right he has a real bright future, what was I thinking?

LOL dude Boxing is the land where shady men roam, look at Victor Conte boxing accepted him with open arms, and look at that pimp Adonis Stevenson lol at Ariza career being done.
Boxing is the only sport where PC liberalism hasn't infected it.
you can be yourself in boxing, you can go on racist rants, call someone the F word and still have a striving career and not have to be punished like those athletes in the NFL and NBA who have to walk on egg shells.

Ariza is not a promoter or manager. He is a conditioner... I am sure his contracts are on a fight by fight basis.
Ariza has a lot of bad press, because he creates it. He is actually a limelight whore who seems to talk far too much, which causes problems.
I have never seen a strength and conditioning trainer have so much to say.
I was just trying to say that he is shady and shady guys always seem to be able to dupe prospects with potential to use their services to "make it" in the sport. He thinks he has some pull but he really doesn't, like you said, he just runs his mouth a lot.
Ariza is the one that said he was more important to a fighter's success than Roach was. He made the Pacquiao-Rios fight into Roach vs. Ariza. Pacquiao was supposed to be no where near as good without the help of Ariza and Rios was supposed to become a monster with Ariza helping him. So when Pacquiao beat up Rios like taking candy from a baby it showed how unimportant Ariza really is to a fighter's success.
Yeah, but the problem with that argument is that Rios was born with an IQ of a bar of soap and wouldn't be able to tell the difference between swallowing a hand full of pills or a hand full of thumb tactics.
Thus, the only logical approach is to hang the fool who fed the fool.
:lol1: :lol1:
No way,, there is always room for crooks, and shady people in the world of boxing
Arum, Schaefer, Haymon, Ariza, Conte, Heredia......all shady as heck but thriving in the world of boxing.
why is everybody focusing on Ariza? Did Ariza force feed Rios the sh*t he took?
Rios probably thought he needed an extra edge and said **** it, if i beat Pacquiao itll be worth it to get an edge even if i get caught cheating.
