There are other factors that come into play here, in 2005 Philippines was just starting to have netcafes and widely available internet while countries like the United States and Mexico had already had had it for some time. Globalization and the internet was just heavily coming into play at that point, and around 06/07 is when SkyNet became self-aware.
:lol1: :lol1: :lol1: :fing02:
I'd still roll with my guy Bradley, though he's starting to wear down. He has that grit and determination to beat guys like Matthysse damn near every time. He'll find a way.
Yeah it's hard to pick a clear winner on this one.
And we have a winner!
In fact not 'probably' - it says there's 192 voters yet a rough count says about 460 votes.
That's why I always need my lawyer present when signing a contract, I always forget to read the fine print. Lol
That's a hard fight to pick.
At 147lb? I lean Bradley, I'm gonna side with the more skilful fighter, but I can also totally see him getting cracked hard and hurt too.
He's shown and proven to have a granite chin and can recover quickly too.
It could be because for someone rated so highly by the industry, he lost all of his big fights. His top wins were legends on the down slide. However, no one can deny he is the Golden Boy in financial terms.
Giving Shane Mosley credit for the De La Hoya fight is like giving Margarito credit for the Cotto fight. Against Trinidad Oscar had the fight in the bag and everyone knows what happened. Oscar was not a 160 pounder and the Hopkins fight should not have happened. Against Floyd he was over the hill already and still gave a great fight and arguably won. Do I really need to point out everything about the PAC fight?
So there you have it, Oscar practically retired undefeated and beat everyone that mattered when it mattered most.
It's gonna be a great Saturday of fights and this is by far the one I've been craving for the longest and the one I'm most excited for. I think Abner will win but both guys are true warriors and this fight will be a great war.
What seperates Oscar De La Hoya and what I admire about him is that he actually loves boxing, loves competition, strives to put on the most competitive fights, and cares about the fans and fighters. I wish De La Hoya the best and hope that him and his company continue to do great things and continue to succeed.
Because it was a risk and both Lemieux and his promoter took it like real fighters. We want to see exciting fights, here's one that will most likely be fireworks. Us the fans win. I'm definitely buying it.
Great post.
what the heck do these percentages mean????
am i high or retarded or is this sh1t broken?

That sh*t doesn't make any sense at all or maybe we're both retarded lol
Floyd won't be remembered period, and 100 years from now when somebody does dig up his name from an old boxing encyclopedia they will read and learn that he was just an every day coward. One who became famous and very wealthy by selling his honor and dignity.
What's the author talking about? Goku totally passed on his qualities to Gohan. Gohan even went Super Saiyan 2 before Goku.
Clearly there's no need to read the rest of this nonsense!
:lol1: lol!

LoL!
Pacquiao - Washed up politician pretending to still be a fighter for monetary purposes.
Maidana - WBA Champ by way of defeating an overrated hypejob.
Canelo - Dehydrated to Zombie walking dead status.
Guerrero - Interim champ by defeating hypejob.
Cotto - Past his prime and during rebuilding stage.
Ortiz - Nutjob who can't keep it together and who became champion by defeating hypejob.
Mosley - Clearly old past prime, became champ at the time by defeating a fraudulent cheater.
Marquez - Really? Are you pretending to have forgot that entire little scenario?
I don't think anyone even critizes Chavez for not being like his father and for not fighting like him either.
He is critized for his own choices and his own conduct.
This is a guy who literally has an excuse for every single thing and every single fvck up. Even him retweeting this article is an example of him not accepting his responsibilities.
When his professional career started and his fights where televised even though they where 4 rounders and/or undesservig of television time, the people had a tolerance to it because they understood that the kid was growing up and possibly had potential to make a decent or better run out of his pro career and since he is Julio's son people didn't mind watching him develop on TV throughout the years.
Only that after so many years and so many fights the kid grew up physically but not mentally. He is still being televised on mismatches and being put in fights with great advantages. It is extensively documented and proven that he doesn't work hard. He's been busted for drugs. He's been busted for PED's, and he still doesn't take a single ounce of responsibility for anything.
So how can people continue to support someone like that and forget that he's basically just a piece of sh*t with the same name as someone who was once a great fighter.
Also nobody gives a pass to Valero, or Mayweather for what they did. I don't know of anyone that has ever said they remember Valero as a great person or the same for Mayweather.
These are further excuses that Chavez Jr uses and things he says to satisfy himself and his ego.
