I think on this board people tend to get stuck in a routine of stumping for fighters they like, and hating on guys they don't like. This is an exercise to get your boxing brain working again instead of being clouded with bias and agenda.
JMM
Great counterpuncher. Surprising longevity. Never been stopped and has been in with some greats. He is an all time great.
Lara
Never lost a fight by a clear margin. Terrific boxer, very crafty. Gave some of the best in his division a bit more than they wanted.
Broner
This one is the hardest of all. When his movement, counterpunching, speed and power all comes together, he looks like he deserves the hype. He can crack, has decent skills, and even showed some toughness against Maidana.
Ok, now back to the hate
JMM
Piss drinking creep. I hope he gets KOd one time before he retires.
Lara
Boring spoiler. Looking good is more important than making your opponent look bad.
Broner
Overrated. Any hardworking B level fighter can beat him with activity and a brain. I hope to see him get brutally KOd against one of the heavy hitters at 140 or 147.
For all his talk and bluster, Boner doesn't seem reluctant to get in with top-drawer competition.
And when he loses, he doesn't make excuses: he didn't handle himself well after the Maidana loss in leaving the ring before the postfight interview, but when he did talk after at the press conference he gave Maidana full credit, as he did Porter.
I don't hate anyone but:
Wladimir Klitschko is the best heavyweight of the last 10 years and he has to be ranked as a top 10-15 heavyweights of all times, even if he gets away with too much clinching.
Bernard Hopkins is legend with the best longevity ever.
Pacquiao is much smarter than people give him credit for and he's a legendary champion, even if he was on PEDs, u don't accomplish what he accomplished just by being on PEDs.
Sugar Ray Leonard is one of the best fighter I've ever seen.
Dela Hoya was a great fighter, even though he's a very fake guy imo.
Frazier was a warrior in the ring, but I didn't like him calling Ali Clay though.
Don't hate anyone, but those who are unlikeable or not fun to watch: Mayweather is best fighter of his generation. Carl Froch punches hard ..Khan is lightning quick..Lara looked great b4 he started fighting elite competition..
Don't really hate any fighter although there are some I dislike.
Peter Quillin- Has a nice looking wife
Sergio Mora- Very successful despite not really being that good IMO
Leo Santa Cruz- Has made a lot of money
Antonio Margarito- Has one good eye
Mayweather- Despite not liking him he is still one of the best boxers i've ever seen
Carlos Molina- Ugly freaking style, but effective as heck for him
Mayweather is a top twenty fighter of all time. Second to no one who was in their prime 2000-now.
Khan throws some fast combos, would be a great fight with Brook should that take place.
Chavez Jr and Margarito both had granite chins. Didn't really think they were afraid of any fights.
Despite being a Pac fan, I am actually a big fan of JMM. Had several good fights worth rewatching in his career.
JCC Jr - Good attitude that kid has.
Canelo - I like the composure he's shown to bounce back after getting schooled
Cotto - Great hook, great professionalism out of the ring(not negotiations)
Devon Alexander - I respect that he'll get in the ring with basically anybody
Khan - Great self promoter
JuanMa - A warrior in the ring. Reminds me of corales without the IT factor.
I don't hate any fighters but these are the ones I dont like.
Money May the greatest of his generation.
The Klickskos good fighters.
GGG very exciting fighter with lots of power if he continues his performances he will be a great.
Lomachencho very skilled fighter and exciting to watch.
I used to hate that guy so hard for some reason and I knew he was about to lose and then he retired and never came back!
I wonder what he's doing right now :lol1:
