Frank just wants another bag of money from Saudi, he installed this idea that it was legit hit and Dubois undeservedly lost, though he LOST every round and did NO MAS from stiff jab... Usyk will be 2 time Undisputed and retire.
I'd be really surprised if Parker didn't beat him. This reinvented Parker under Lee is too savvy for someone like Dubois.
I mean, pick one heavyweight whose victory against Usyk would save your life?
You're a dead man.
Would you just hope Zhang could plant him with one left hand? Would you take the Olympic Champ is it Jalolov? An absolute wildcard in an actual teenage Itauma at least he's definitely quick and powerful. Bakole looks statuesque and the handspeed isn't there either that it is hard to imagine the shot that would take out Usyk. Parker is one of the smaller more mobile heavies - he's winning a few rounds vs Usyk but he's not winning in a million years.
It's not like you can't hit Usyk at all but to establish your lead foot against him to land something that is gonna end him as a 17 stone plus man looks almost impossible.
i still think better version of AJ had chances against Usyk.
Serious question: Do you think Salido can beat Davis? Be honest too.
Lets bet when loma vs tank fight happened ( not sure if your boy will be ready untill loma is 40 )
Real money, real bet. Couple of thousands. Ready?
I dont get all the hate AJ is getting. He always fought a better opposition out of the 3. He lost some and win some as if usually happens. Lets see how much fury, will deffend and what will be result of usyk vs aj 2.
People said same about AJ fight and looked what happened)))
Fury movement was not that good in this fight, thats for sure. If he trains same way for Usyk, he will lose.
I can see usyk tko wilder, and can win on points with fury, but fury fight is 50/50 right now.
both men need to take care of next fights to findout who is best in HW
I would not call it brutal beatdown. Wilder has serious conditioning issues. Basically after 4th round he was 1 punch away from ko hardly standing. He was so tense and fired up with his punches that it just took too much from him. If he work on a pace, stamina and conditioning, i can see him having another title shot in 2-3 fights.
He needs to work on hist mental readiness 100%
If that was true then no-one would wear them. Doesn't sound like a great design.
It's supposed to protect them, not distribute the force from punches landed elsewhere to them.
this is EXACTLY how protection works, it disperses force to reduce damage.
some of the replies here are borderline stupid.
Fury actually defeated Usyk and was robbed similar to Ward/Kovalev 1. Unlike AJ who was actually beaten by him back to back. The only difference is that due to the fake Ukraine war nonsense that is being shoved down our throats even though we don’t give a **** was used to propagate Usyk as a Ukrainian god/saint and no way they could have him lose to Fury. Fury won that fight and was robbed.
thanks for providing some fun on this forum, your Fury devotion should be studied.
people have confused all the things in this thread. Usyk completed boxing and did it in style. Also, the author should use some time period while comparing, Usyk became pro with 400 Amateur wins and medals, and now 37 y.o :D Only because you are fan of other fighters doesn't mean you need to diminish his achievements.
1. Usyk
2. Bud
3. Inoue
DD will get real belt only in good matchmaking. Anyone who will ACTUALLY punch gonna to destroy him.
i get brits are trying to find next big thing. But future is bleak after Fury and AJ are gone, probably same statement can be made about HW in general. So many bums like Hrgovich.
Wlad ofc both CV and career. He was proper athlete until age got him and in 34-35 he wipe the floor with all these guys, may be minus Usyk (questionable). We all know Fury got Wlad on his worst day during personal drama with wife and newborn, and run away from rematch into peds, cocke and retirement,
I think it's pretty much a conversation between:
Dubois: stoppages of two ranked contenders that he was underdog for, one who was two time unified champ, neither of whom are anywhere near P4P.
Usyk if he wins again v Fury, with two wins over the unified and lineal champ who's been P4P on most lists. Especially if he wins more definitively.
Inoue if he beats MJ/Goodman in December, with stoppage wins over 3 ranked contenders, one a former unified and two division champ, another a former champ, and Goodman, who is undefeated, or MJ, former unified champ with several defenses.
the winner of Bivol v Beterbiev with a win over an undefeated P4P champion with several good defenses. In the case of Bivol, he's also got a stoppage win over an unranked undefeated contender, and Beterbiev has a stoppage win over former super middleweight champ Callum Smith.
And a shout out to Bam if he beats #6 ranked Guevara, after also beating lineal king Estrada, who's been a frequent P4P stalwart, and activity kicker of Edwards, the #1 at 112 at the time of fight.
I think the biggest difference is that Dubois was the underdog, and most of the others besides Usyk weren't. But I personally favor Usyk if he beats Fury again, even though I think Fury was and is overrated. He's still a better win than Hrgovic who has fugh-all on his resume.
Usyk is clear right now. Both Bivol and Beterbiev wont fight again this year.
