No. He got knocked out by the guy jacobs is fighting who people considered 'trash' opponent. If Sulecki is a trash opponent for Jacobs then Centeno must be a tomato can, but people won't say that because Cubs Only.
Sulecki is good though, I think he's being a bit underated.
When I saw the face behind the name I recalled one of his lackluster fights against some guy whose name I don't remember.
I remember him struggle, lose gas, clinch, and a sigh of relief as soon as the last bell rang.
So this is the guy Charlo is fighting next...
Kills me with these perpetual undercard sisters.

If you've seen Sulecki fight, you'd know and understand that he's not some trash opponent, lol
No he was never very good. Jermall is an excellent fighter and it's not his fault but he has never beaten a good middleweight. I'd like to see him fight Jacobs with the winner fighting the winner of the likely GGG vs Canelo rematch. Good stuff like that rarely happens these days.
why would he fight jacobs when he is the wbc mandatory? that is the problem with giving away free mandatory positions. its actually a disincentive to fight good fighters. imagine charlo-derey for the ibf mandatory or jacobs-charlo for the wba or charlo-murata for the wbo etc...instead charlos already in prime position based on beating nobody relevant. poor rankings by the wbc led to this farcical situation and it really hurts charlos career as well as the division
One left hook. He's out cold
I know you don't want to see him against GGG. I don't understand why you don't want to see that fight as a boxing fan but I know you don't want to see it.
one left hook? he literally hits him with a right hand right before that. the announcer even says and he just got caught! before he even lands the left hook so i dont think you are seeing it correctly.
who said i don't want to see it? that is a straw man sir. i like charlo and he's a very good fighter. i just find it strange how the ggg haters who said he fought nothing but bums and its easy to ko bums are now loving charlo when hes doing the exact same thing they said ggg was doing. the best opponent he fought took him the distance in a very close fight but i guess we have to ignore that.

I was surprised Centeno outboxed Charlo until he got KO'd because I checked out a few of his previous fights and he was very underwhelming. In every fight I've seen him in, he was hit quite easily. I thought he might survive anywhere from between one to 5 rounds. Charlo did what he was expected to do.
