I scored it 7-5 Usyk on second watch,
Don't even disagree with the 8-4 card for Usyk, I just think all 3 being 8-4 was wide.
I agree with the sentiment totally it's why so many people scream robbery for a fight because they scored it wide for one of the fighters despite it being an either way fight.
I think alot of the rounds were close in this fight, Usyk won it be closing out the last few rounds as he always does.
Agreed…this fight definitely felt CLOSER than the first fight due to the absence of knockdowns or either fighter getting badly wobbled. Also, unlike the first fight, Fury wasn’t getting constantly backed up and stood his ground in the centre of the ring for most of the fight.
I scored it 115-113 for Usyk but couldn’t really argue with 116-112 either. However, it definitely WASN’T any wider than that. In fact, this fight was so close that even one scorecard in favour of Fury would’ve been wrong but definitely NOT as outrageous as the first fight.
116 - 112 Usyk close rounds, but all edged by the clear winner. Not at all a difficult fight to score if you have the slightest clue of what you are talking about.
But again, which rounds do they actually disagree with?
I agree that, given the general flow of the fight the cards seem wide. Or feel wide. But round by round, which rounds should have (not could have) gone to Fury?
I think if you go and watch and score it round by round then you'll come up with wide cards.
In theory a very competitive fight could be 12-0. The cards aren't intended to show how competitive a fight was overall. They just show who won the rounds.

USYK won by a larger margin... I was heartbroken to see fury so heavy and he lost a few more swing rounds where he was just too inactive.
USYK out hustled and took some close rounds. Giving him two or three rounds seemed right.
What part of this very basic line of thinking are you struggling to grasp?
It was a competitive fight, Usyk deserved the win for me. But 116-112 across the board seems a bit wide, and a list of people in boxing share the exact same sentiment.

8-4 or 7-5, idk why people are crying about HOW WIDE ARE THE CARDS, and then saying, yeah Usyk won, clowns :D

Fury 7-5. A lot of Usyk shots that he was getting credit for landed on Fury's gloves. Another thing, everytime Usyk lands one flashy shot, people act like he landed 10. Neither fighter was hurt, but on the whole, Fury did a bit more effective work than Usyk. That being said, the first fight was great, this one, although clearly a high-level fight, wasn't very good to watch, it was actually very similar to Beterbiev vs Bivol, but Usyk (Bivol) got the win as he starts every fight with a 4 point headstart and people get fooled by the commentators every time Usyk lands. Dubois knocked him out and Usyk still won! Wake up people. Fury won. Nash out - His Excellency
At the time I had streaming issues for the first 3 rounds so couldn't really score it.
Just finished rewatching and scoring round by round. This might invite ridicule (wide cards always do when the fight was actually quite competitive) but I stand by it.
Overall my takeaway is that Usyk was just better and cleaner and landed body shots that seem not to be appreciated by many. Fury didn't have a high point like the 6th in the first fight (nor did Usyk like the 9th) but he looked like he was in more rounds, even if he was generally outboxed in them.
Here we go...
1 - Usyk very close. Two judges disagreed and I can live with that.
2 - Usyk - landed lots of body shots. Fury did very little until one good right upstairs from Fury but that doesn't win the round. Two judges agreed. It was a close round though.
3 - Fury - Really close. Every decent shot from either fighter had a response from the other. Fury maybe the aggressor but Usyk starting to look a bit more classy... I'll go with Fury the aggressor. Two judges agreed.
4 - Usyk - best round yet. A couple of big lefts by Usyk but Fury came back into it with a good right. I didn't think it was a hard round to score though despite all 3 judges seeing it differently. Fury moving forward and hitting gloves has merit, but not when the opponent is hitting flesh more often. Usyk up 3-1.
5 - Fury - Another good round and Fury's best yet. A great uppercut and some big body shots. Decent work from Usyk in response but not hard to score to Fury. All judges agreed. Usyk up 3-2.
6 - Usyk - big Usyk round with some eye catching big lefts including one that looked too have stunned Fury. Fury clearly starting to gas out. All judges agreed. 4-2
7 - Usyk - a bit closer but the better work by Usyk with Fury starting to back up. All 3 judges agreed. 5-2
8 - Usyk - clear Usyk round though nothing too damaging landed. Fury looking tired. All 3 judges agreed. 6-2 Usyk
9 - Usyk - I had Fury leading this round just on aggression. Both were landing similarly but Fury applied extra pressure even if it was mainly caught on gloves. Then Usyk landed some clean, effective punches in the last 30 seconds of the round to win it. 2 judges agreed - one got swayed by the glove punching. 7-2 Usyk
10 - Usyk - scrappy round. Could have gone either way on this one but Usyk did land more including one peach of a left. All 3 judges surprisingly agreed with me given it was scrappy. 8-2 Usyk.
11 - Usyk - clear round. Some great lefts from Usyk as Fury tired... throwing back hands and dropping back into the corner. One nice right from Fury at the bell wasn't enough. All 3 judges agreed. 9-2 Usyk.
12 - Usyk - clear round. Fury finally threw caution to the wind but Usyk hit him with pot shots throughout the round. Two judges agreed - one must have shown some mercy on Fury because you couldn't see that round any other way. 10-2 Usyk.
10-2 and if I allow some leeway on the close rounds I could live with Fury taking a couple more, particularly the first 2. I don't see what everyone seems to see in Round 4. He was hitting gloves while Usyk was hitting his body.
Tin hat on. Go for it. As long as you're willing to post actual reasoning on a round by round basis and not just report on the vibe of the fight, which was pretty competitive.
This is my exact card, except I gave 3 to Usyk and 10 to Fury. Same score, 118-110 Usyk.

Yes, this is basically the fight I saw.
Only one clear Fury round, and a one or two more that he just about nicked.
There's the guy who has never been in the ring feeling threatened again... Relax, guy. Chill out and enjoy the season a little, eh? You know perfectly well that you're hugely on the minority with your Fury riding.
You are correct that I misremembered the AI score, because AI had only 2 rounds for Fury, but also two tied. So 116-112.
Regardless, the right man won, and Fury didn't win anywhere close to 5 or more rounds.
I'm not even a fan of Tyson Fury you daft cunt :lol1: I scored both fights for Usyk.
118-112 you idiot. Your maths is as bad as your fantasy boxing scholarship :lol1:
I agree the right man won. But like I said, people in actual boxing, plenty of them in fact, not fake make believe boxing scholars (in your mind only) thought the scores were too wide to be that wide across the board. Likely for a reason. So no, not the minority. Your 9-3 card is what is in the actual minority, over here in reality.
AI didn’t have it 10-2, no need to lie.
Plenty of people that are actually in Boxing felt 8-4 was too wide.
You’re not a scholar mate, you’re just an idiot who thinks they know way more than they do because they held pads a few times in the gym :lol1:

You just have to score fights round by round. Until you do, your feelings really don't come into it. That's not to have a go at anyone, it's just fact.
I thought the fight was 60% Usyk. But round by round, I had it wider.
The cards can be wide in a relatively competitive fight.
I didn't score but felt Usyk pulled it out in the championship rounds. 5-5 maybe then Usyk pulled it out of the bag in the last 2.
I was surprised though all 3 judges was in agreeance and had it 116-112 as for me there was a lot of swing rounds especially early-mid. I was really expecting scorecards to be all over the place. After so many rounds I was thinking I'd hate to be a judge in this one.
I had it 9-3 Usyk, but wouldn't argue with 10-2 as AI had it, or 8-4 if you really want to give Fury every benefit of the doubt. 5 Fury rounds would be incredibly biased or corrupt, and if you think it's a draw or a Fury win, I think the vast majority will agree YDKSAB, and frankly, I guarantee you won't be able to provide a round by round breakdown justifying your score. You'd have a very hard time justifying 5 rounds to Fury with a detailed breakdown.
