:bottle:
If Floyd is trash,you must be toxic medical waste.Focus on your own people and stop hating...... while you still can.
The Black community isn't embarrassed by having the best fighter on earth.
He's not kissing anybody's a.ss,and nobody is patting him on the head like a dog...like Arum does Manny.
He isn't buckdancing for endorsements or begging to be let in.
Your people can learn a lot from a Brother like Mayweather:fing26:
Kissing as.s is not good.
Real talk.
According to some P4P lists Manny is still the second best fighter in the world. But to most lists he has dropped to number 6. Considering the fact that Mayweather is retiring soon, Marquez hasn't fought in over a year and is looking to retirement, and Andre Ward hasn't done anything significant in nearly two years does Manny stand a chance to one day rise back to top of the mythical pound for pound list? Can He become the best fighter in the world again?

Those guys need to be drug tested.
I don't know what race you are, but if you are anything other than white, you are complete moron. Black people fight usually benefit all the other non-white races, but they always sit on the sideline criticize blacks but ready to share in the black man's victory. All the racial changes to US constitution blacks fought for and every other non-white race benefit. If you guys are too weak fight then sit your @ss down and shut up, we will make sure you are ok afterwards.

Yeah Floyd was the villain and Pacquiao the saint.
had nothing to do with Floyd being a loud-mouth, egotistic, arrogant, idiot wife-beater his whole career and Pacquiao being a god-fearing father who fights for his country and gives everything he has to charity and his people.
It's because Floyd's black.
herp derp.
Nate Campbell has always been one of the biggest retards in boxing.

Former two-weight world champion, Ricky Hatton has provided the public with plenty of insightful stories about his days both inside and outside the ring.
In an extract from his book, Hatton made his distain for the ***8220dckhead***8221; Floyd Mayweather very clear.
But he also told an extremely entertaining tale which really sums up Mayweather***8217;s extraordinary egotism.
Prior to their 2007 fight against one another, ***8216;The Hitman***8217; was traveling by private plane to New York for a promotion event. He soon became aware that Floyd, who was traveling in a separate plane, was ordering his pilot to overtake the English fighter mid-air.
A few minutes into the the journey, we***8217;re chatting away, having a drink when the pilot gestures to me to come forward. ***8216;Hey Ricky, listen to this idiot.***8217;
He turns on the speaker and over the radio I hear Floyd arguing with the pilot of his plane behind: ***8220;I***8217;m not letting that motherf*cker get there before me, f*cking overtake them!***8221;
***8220;We cant do that, Sir.***8221;
***8220;Overtake that motherf*cker ***8211; I***8217;m the champ! I***8217;ve got to get to New York first. I***8217;ll pay whatever you want.***8221;
Hatton summed up his opinion of Mayweather in one classic line.
What***8217;s the point of being the world***8217;s best fighter if everyone thinks you***8217;re a dickhead?

This is bearing in mind the new & improved version of Algieri we saw against Khan against the EXACT VERSION of the opponents that Floyd fought, as if the fights had happened around the same time.
Maidana - 50/50 fight
Guerrero - Algieri wins fairly easy
Victor Ortiz - Algieri Wins easy
Shane Mosley (after 1.5 year inactivity/layoff) - 50/50 fight
Juan Manuel Marquez - (first fight at 147 , jumped up 2 weight division from 135) - Algieri Wins against THAT VERSION of Marquez.
So there we have it, the man who Khan recently beat, and who a few naysayers/trolls are slating at the moment, in reality would beat most of Floyd's recent opponents at 147 in my opinion.
I'd even give Algieri a better shot against Pacquiao because at 147 he wasn't weight-drained like he was against Pacquiao (144) and Prov (140). I think Pac still wins but it would be a much closer fight.
Anyway, which of those does Algieri beat in your view?

They don't run, jump, sprint, etc. like in other sports such as basketball, football, rugby, soccer and baseball. I would say they are skilled at their profession but I wouldn't necessarily call them professional 'athletes'. Just wanted to clear that up once and for all.

He certainly lost the first 6 rounds and maybe won 2 rounds near the end.

What f*cking fight were you watching?
:pat:
Of course Canelo was in his prime! Most, if not all fighters are in their prime at 23. What an utterly daft thing to say. He'd had 43 pro fights over eight years and had been champion for years already, and was not only considered the best champion at 154, but was the unified, lineal jr middleweight champion.
You may differentiate between his absolute peak and being in his prime, and while it may be true for the former (we'll not know that for many years though when we've watched most of his career) it's definitely not for the latter. He was unquestionably in his prime then, just as he is now a little over one year later. He'd fought former veteran champions, current top champions, future HOF veterans, top contenders, brawlers, boxers, southpaws...
Dominating every single round and nearly stopping Mosley is struggling? :nonono:
Would you say Canelo is in his prime now? He was basically 23, one or so months off, and is now 24. I doubt anyone questions the fact he is in his prime now, nor did they after whipping Angulo a few months after Floyd.
Name one fighter in the history of boxing who was in their prime at 23?!?Are you ****ing serious? I can't believe the utter ****e people bring up here. It's actually much, much, much harder to name fighters who weren't in their prime at 23.

I could literally just keep going on and on and on and on and on. That's just a bunch of guys I reeled out all off the top of my head, because most fighters are in their prime at 22/23. Many of these guys were already at or close to their peak too.
If an experienced, unified, lineal champion at his physical peak isn't in his prime, then no one ever is. He may get a bit better and reach his absolute peak in his mid to late twenties mentally before he physically declines, but that has nothing to do with him not being in his prime now and then. Any that thinks 22/23 year old Duran wasn't in his prime when he destroyed Esteban De Jesus or 23/24 year old Pacquiao when he destroyed Barrera is ****ing daft.
I'm pretty sure the 22 year old Floyd, having annihilated Hernandez and embarrassing Corrales a year or so later wasn't close to his prime either?

Hang on a sec. The money he makes has no correlation to whether he is boring in the ring or not. The financials are more a question of marketing. Transformers movies make a billion. Bon Jovi have sold a huge number of albums. Money is no signifier of quality or entertainment value, at all.
He's tremendously boring, especially these days - Pacquiao, Canelo, De La Hoya, Marquez - all exciting fighters, were reduced to nullified sparring partners because of Floyd's cynical, horrendous style. Oh I forget, the onus is on THEM to make Mayweather's ass less tedious :lol1:
Floyd is one of the most boring, joyless fighters in boxing right now. His obnoxious fanbase are too busy revelling in the win over Pacquaio to actually understand the problem with the fight of the century.
Oh well, keep crowing about how much money he made :lol1:
Dickhead.

And that was against a bum.
Manny Pacquiao is afraid of needles and wants to test he has CONQUERD his fear because he has PRIDE. He takes the blood although he is scared he does this for our sins.

The Cotto we saw tonight would f*ck Andre Ward. All he needs to do is keep working with his new team and gain eight pounds. Truly amazing. Cotto became three times faster and twice as strong by going up in weight. GGG watch out!

Ward would beat the breaks off Cotto.
Fight is at 147 and Rios gets to wear the same gloves he wore against Pacquiao.

The thing about Ali. He was LUCKY in rematches. Literally! Ali actually build his broad popularity on rematch luck.
Imagine if this had happened,
Ali loses to Frazier (as he did in their first fight) but would never rematch Frazier.
Ali loses to Ken Norton (as he did in their first fight) but would never rematch Norton.
Ali loses to Leon Spinks (as he did in their first fight) but would never rematch Spinks.
Ali wins against Sonny Liston but then loses in the rematch instead of winning by a ridiculous gift stoppage.
Ali wins against Foreman, gives Foreman a rematch and (very likely) loses the rematch
Foreman annihilates Ken Norton and Joe Frazier (as he indeed did, KO2 and KO2)
Leon Spinks ends his career with a bummy record of 26-16 (= Spinks' record without the Ali rematch)
Now where does this leave the credibility of the greatest of all time? He beat just tomato cans, even by todays standards. Without the rematches, Ali would of all been a tomato can himself. If Wlad and Vitali would have contractual been allowed to avenge their losses, nobody would be talking about the Klitschkos as sub par in any way.
http://cdn.memegenerator.net/instances/500x/33559354.jpg
Wladimir Klitschko transformed heavyweight boxing. His performance against Leapai last night cemented this. His jab, footwork, defense and offense were all immaculate and incomparable. No style works against him.
He proved uppercuts, combos, feinting, swarming etc to be near-worthless (in the case of his opponents) and unnecessary (in the case of himself). Thus by his perfect minimalistic-seeming technique he actually shows how bad previous generations of boxers were who could win with such techniques like feinting and combos.
Wladimir is the blueprint for what strategies work (in his case) and don't work (in his opponents' case). Wladimir Klitschko is the measuring stick for champions of the past and future.

Now just hear me out.....
Since boxing has too many weight divisions and belts, wouldn't it be far more interesting and entertaining if boxing just did away with weight divisions and just had one universal belt where every fighter from the face on the earth no matter how big or small would fight each other to be named the baddest man on the planet?
I think this would be the surge boxing would need to get back to it's golden years.

Srs... Mayweather doesn't face guys who match him for height and reach let alone guys who tower over him...
Algieri is a fleet footed slickster master boxer with a tremendous gas tank... when is the last time he faced one of those?
Algieri would toy with Mayweather..
