Sue Manny he was the one that failed to make it a fight .
Floyd's team said buy PPV because this fight was different. Floyd would be aggressive and expect a KO.
Manny had an injury but tried to make it a fight. What was Floyd's excuse?
A draw is a draw. Win or Lose they're paying to watch Mayweather.
Like I said, that is not what you guys say when this topic comes up. Floyd and his fans pretend it is because Floyd has this big fan base. In other words, if Floyd had lost already, except for some of his fans, nobody would care much to see another Floyd fight. There is no excitement unless it is generated by his opponents.
Sweet...so do they mail me my refund or do I have to join one of those class action suits to get reimbursed?
Sue Manny he was the one that failed to make it a fight .
Hang on a sec. The money he makes has no correlation to whether he is boring in the ring or not. The financials are more a question of marketing. Transformers movies make a billion. Bon Jovi have sold a huge number of albums. Money is no signifier of quality or entertainment value, at all.
He's tremendously boring, especially these days - Pacquiao, Canelo, De La Hoya, Marquez - all exciting fighters, were reduced to nullified sparring partners because of Floyd's cynical, horrendous style. Oh I forget, the onus is on THEM to make Mayweather's ass less tedious :lol1:
Floyd is one of the most boring, joyless fighters in boxing right now. His obnoxious fanbase are too busy revelling in the win over Pacquaio to actually understand the problem with the fight of the century.
Oh well, keep crowing about how much money he made :lol1:
Dickhead.

These men choose not to go all out for the win because Floyd's style would punish them for that. Instead, they decided that losing via UD was better than risking getting KO'd to win That's not on Floyd.
Canelo is the perfect example. Had he fought Floyd like he fought Kirkland, he might have won a round.
You really want Floyd to not fight at his best to make it easier for guys to win?
we know why Guerrero's dad isn't asking them to. Why aren't you asking for them to step up their performance?
Thank you for saying it before I did. Blaming Floyd because, against him, those fighters didn't fight how they normally do. If Pac were more aggressive it would've been more exciting, but he would've been taken a much worse beating and . Same with Canelo. They weren't aggressive, yet they blame Floyd for it.
Pacquiao walked away with $25m and, if Koncz/Arum are completely honest with him, will get ~75% of whatever comes into Top Rank (minus whatever advances that he picked up on the fight), which may end up being $180m.
$180m, minus Arum's cut, gets Pacquiao $125m-$135m. deduct whatever advances that Top Rank gave Pacquiao for the fight, not to mention the $25m already paid to Pacquiao, and the full number maybe gets up to another ~$70m (brought in over the next two years, as the receipts roll in, likely leading to further advances being asked for, with even less money getting to Pacquiao.
I hope it's not, but this might very well be true. @4:45
He also outsold Pacquiao in every fight with the same opponent apart from JMM. Was part of the top 3 selling PPVs of all time.
It was all Pacquiao fans though. :lol1:
These mfers cant give him credit for a damn thing...its pathetic.
I blame myself for even trying engage with them on any level. It's essentially a futile exercise. I mean, let's sum up some of these responses....
"Hmm, salty tears. Butt-hurt tears. My guy won. Look, he mad"
"Hmmm, you owned yourself. Self-contradictory".
"Hmm, all those tickets sold mean there is no way Floyd isn't the p4p a superstar entertainer".
"Hmmm, racist".
Lol. There is no way I'm going to sit back and let these people try to deny that Mayweather isn't a gigantic bore in the ring. Worst PPV star ever. A pure marketing gimmick, who exploits the boxing rules to stifle the sh*t out of a boxing fight - then has his fans blame the opponent for not making his ass less boring :lol1:
Duran, Leonard, Hearns, De La Hoya, Trinidad, Pacquaio were/are pure entertainers. Excitement was woven into the style, that's what made them great, that's what makes their fightography so brilliant and worth revisiting again and again.
These dudes in this thread are in serious denial. The Fight of the Century was a complete disaster, the whole world were sh*tting on our sport and but in their world, Floyd won and made lots of money, and so everything was OK.
For once, the casuals are right. That fight was an embarrassment.
I said it before the fight (and it shouldn't be hard to find in my posting history) - but when you rely on Floyd Mayweather to come through with an entertaining event, you are asking for trouble.
These long diatribes of pain, salt, and bitterness make my day. Please keep it coming. I use them for sustenance. Your jealousy and anger fuel me!!
Then obviously they're not Mayweather fans...so they must be Manny fans and they made him all that money:dunce:
Lol Manny fans.....most of Mayweathers fights are bought by people wanting him to lose....he chose the heel role and it worked. You act like Pac had 2.5 mil buys every fight...didnt he just do like 300k-500k vs Algeri
No i admitted that people pay to watch Mayweather lose doesn't mean they're Pacquiao fans. :dunce:
Then obviously they're not Mayweather fans...so they must be Manny fans and they made him all that money:dunce:
Almost 70% were picking/rooting for Pacquiao that's got to make that money all the more sweeter. :bounce:
More like 95% (probably more) were rooting for him. Floyd's fan base isn't very large nor diverse.
