...and you guys will tell me I'm crazy and I don't know shot about boxing, but yet if you seen all my posts you know I'm 90% right in my predictions.
Yeah I'm on record saying it now, Cotto beats GGG.
Long live the King.
:lol1: tushay. I think I'm going to declare the 1st weekend of June my annual belligerent weekend.
Ya I think I should declare the whole month for that, yesterday was brutal.
No matter how good cotto looks, no doubt in my mind ggg would slaughter him...
Hearns looked unstoppable vs duran, and then met hagler.... History will repeat itself
Hearns gave himself zero chance to beat Hagler. Get into a face first brawl with arguably the best P4P face first brawler of all time (and no I'm not just saying Hagler is just a face first brawler.)

Golovkin took Stevens left hook flush, you're not gonna tell me Cotto has more power than Stevens at 160.
Stevens power is in his right hand. Nadam made him easy work ffs.
Its not out of th realm of possibility. Murray & monroe have no punching power. Ishida & rosado came from 154 lbs. Stevens is one dimensional. How will GGG react when Cotto hits him flush with a hard left hook.
I can't see any other scenario than Cotto getting stopped.
Firstly, the size difference is vast.
Secondly, the style is all wrong for Cotto. He can't fight backing up, Golovkin is going to back him up from the first bell and hit him with power he's never experienced before.
I would expect Golovkin to knock him out by the 6th Round.
I think Cotto can land the kind of punch that can catch GGG off guard. He does not have to hit as hard as Stevens to hurt GGG as long it's a well timed shot.
Cotto's left hook is looking good again and he is throwing like a killa. Like he did at 140. He was Tysonesque last night when he had Geale in the corner. Commiting to those shots like Geale stole his wallet.
You can see the difference... Cotto puts a lot more into his shots now and places them better overall... when he opened up and knew Gaele was hurt he showed he has power with both hands.. that right hand finisher was spectacular
Cotto can afford to get wild against the bigger men on the inside.his punches are so much shorter

That's easy to say knowing Cotto will never fight him.
After last night I would've thought people would have more respect for Antonio Margaritto. His slow ass walked through 10 rounds of that hell to gradually beat down and end Cotto.
Gennady would take Cotto's fire and give him death.
If Cotto thought he could beat Golovkin, it would have been GGG in the ring against him last night, not Geale. No need to say anything more than that.
The pure truth.
