I used to subscribe to Ring also. Think I got some sitting around. If I get some time one day, I'll upload some also.
I remember Zab's was pretty good. Was talking about Matty's power compared to Tyszu. Also was talking about how he hit Matty with a bomb, thinking it would knock him out, and he just smiled afterwards.
Probably in most recent memory, the Ortiz against Maidana forfeit looked the worst. As others have said, it was a competitive fight up until then and Ortiz was by no means taking a one sided beating. All of the others I can remember in the last few years, fighters were either taking a beating or they were injured.
Not really too interested in Marquez Guerrero to be honest. Think with the limited fights he has left there's more for Marquez out there.
Can't see Cotto-Chavez happening either.
Good fight. Thought DeGale won but obviously didn't look great. Good body work and fought on the inside well at times, but got caught bad in the 4th and 5th.
Donaire will probably win a UD. Before tonight's fight I would have said he would have knocked him out, but Nishioka is pretty slick and moves around the ring well. I noticed tonight that Donaire can't cut the ring off for **** and will probably chase him around all fight like he did with Navarez tonight.
It's hard to listen to anyone who works for ESPN talk about boxing besides Kenny, Tessitore, and Atlas. Lupica was on the radio a month ago bashing Floyd then goes onto say a minute later he's watched two fights in the last five years...
Calderon looked really good in that fourth, showing off his boxing skills and the way he's able to utilize the whole ring, making his opponent chase him. I thought he held way too much though, especially against a free swinging guy like this.
