Because its been a while and there needs to a be a more recent unbias vote. Also i didnt know about this thread.
people was biased?? the very same users had the prediction poll 50-50 and a week later they are biased?
and now we are supossed to have a better perspective years later, lets face it very few watched that boring fight again ... the better results on this type of polls come after the fight not years later...
why make a new poll, this one has a clear result among almost 300 voters..

On second watch I scored it 6-5 1 even (115-114) Canelo. Exactly how I scored it live.
Canelo : 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10
Lara : 1, 2, 3, 6, 12
Even round : 11
Couple observations :
Canelo needs to learn to cut off the ring, stop throwing those telegraphed overhand rights that hit nothing but air and ropes, and stop waiting for his opponent to stop moving before throwing punches.
Lara needs to learn to make his opponent pay after making him miss, use his hook more often and go to the body more often.
Overall an intriguing fight but not very aesthetically pleasing.
The news hasn't arrived yet in Cuba. The messenger still sailing with a wet version of the Las Vegas newspapers. They await for the results. :lol1: :lol1:

Lara got humiliated lol. Canelo struck fear into him with his power and pressure and made him look like a scared queer in front of millions. Cuban boxing was exposed as a cowardly uneffective style when utilized against top caliber fighters. That coward was running the whole night, there was a round where he actually almost tripped again trying to run to the other side. :lol1: :lol1: Easy victory as all Lara did was survive while Canelo busted his ribs.
Cuban school got exposed as the crotchless cowardly culture that it is. The only Cuban who is a real man is Gamboa, that mofo must have some Mexican roots.
Now Lara gets shunned into the depths of boxing hell where Rigo is lol. Hell has a name, its called UniMas. Way to go cowards. :lol1:

who won the fight?
It was really a close fight, but Canelo looked frustrated because he couldn't hit him like he wanted to. I had Lara winning a close one. But one judge really score the fight 117-111 Canelo? :wtf:
I've been saying that over and over in the aftermath of this fight. If Lara doesn't change his approach, he'll never win the big ones. Never. Sure, he'll outclass inferior competition, but he'll never again see, much less win on, the big stage.
Here's the thing though, IMO, a fighter's style is closely tied to their physical and cognitive attributes. Keeping in mind, strenghts and weaknesses can also be relative to one's weight class, and specifically one's opponent.
Lara not only fights the way he does because of habit, but out of necessity. He's not a big, strong, or huge punching jmw. For all we know, he might even be chinny. Also, he's fast, but not freakishly fast either.
Rigo, who's absolutely outstanding, isn't really active either. Although he's more skillful than Lara, one thing I think some are overlooking is the fact that p4p he's faster, and most importantly he's a very big puncher for that weight class; making opponents think twice about rolling up on him like that lol.
huh ok. No the right man did not win... tonight?
Damit305 time to accept that this traitors to Cuba didn't win not only did he not win the fight but he let down his country and he abandoned it.
Luckily there is guys like Lomachenko, Luke Campbell, Anthony Joshua who are trying to convert to the pro style :)
