it should be an NC but a part of me is glad he lost. he abuses and takes advantage of the rules whenever things don't go his way and he gets away with it. it's about time he got punished even though it could just be temporary.
Just not a PPV, please.definitely. Problem is both seem to have stylistic mood swings lately. In the pascal fight Hopkins was actually engaging (something he never does) and Dawson sometimes just goes into cruise control. You never know which version of them will turn up in the ring.
Why is/was Hopkins so afraid of Dawson?
i always wondered about this. and now it looks even if he gets his title back he wont fight dawson again...to me he knows he cant beat dawson for some reason
i just never understood the ruling to begin with, no punches landed so how is it a tko.
if theres an accidental headbutt and the guy cant continue because of whatever reason they dont just reward the belt to the other guy...thats not how it works
i think you have to beat the champion and i know dawson knows this in his heart he didnt wanna win like that...but theres something about dawon that hopkins is afraid of and he woudnt give him a rematch if he got his titles back which messes and if dawson fights pascal people wont see him as the real champ so the division is messed up either way right now
I ent no huge Hopkins but no way should a world champion lose his title by being thrown on the ground ...and what type of fighter would wanna win one that way ?
Sucker punch Floyd wouldn't mind.
I don't see why not, he claims he got injured due to the slam. I'm sure everybody agree that Bernard took the cowardly way out but still he claims the slam was what cause his injury so I don't see why he shouldn't get his belt back.
It doesnt matter what he claims, its what the ref decides. Of course he's gonna claim its the slam
