No, Marquez would have fought Richie again if they both had continued winning. Now Marquez is the champion and he's giving the former champion a chance at redemption. That rematch would have happened eventually if Richie had stayed on the title course instead of getting KOd by pingo Miranda. Marquez did his thing and won the title in Panama. I would make Garcia a huge favorite over Juanma. yeah, i don't really want to see it either, but with either guy, they bring a fanbase which is what matchmakers look for. nishioka would be the best though, for sure. check out ryan songalia's interview with robert garcia, he says he doesn't really want to see garcia/lopez.

Nishioka won't be fighting until June, so an Arce fight would be much more possible than this one. dunkin was just interviewed, he said it's either arce or vazquez. i wish it was nishioka, but it sounds like it's arce. donaire beats all 3

donaire on activity.....by UD doniare did not look good but it was still a shut out.....floyd did not know how to look good vs a bum in baldomir altho it was still a shut out...sergio did not look good vs a bum but it was not a shut out....it happens to everyone....

Donaire will probably win a UD. Before tonight's fight I would have said he would have knocked him out, but Nishioka is pretty slick and moves around the ring well. I noticed tonight that Donaire can't cut the ring off for **** and will probably chase him around all fight like he did with Navarez tonight.
