Bradley is a good fighter but not discipline. He went to Top Rank to get the Manny shot because he thought he could take advantage of Manny's weaknesses. I also think he went to Top Rank to avoid tough fights. He knew being at Top Rank would kill a Mayweather, Khan, Garcia, or Matthysse.
ithink more roach than arum.
remember arum doesn't care as long as he got both fighters.
arum wouldve loved a pac-cotto rematch
I only said Arum because I believe he thought Cotto was done after the Margs beating.
Yes I know he has knocked off a bunch of stars and a few budding super stars but he is as boring as Wladimir Klutchko. Why are people thrilled by his boring safety first style but fall asleep for Klutchko?
What does thrilled have to do with it? Boxing is a combat sport. The so-called exciting fighters cannot beat him. He does not mind playing the villain. To sum it up. He is the best boxer, flashy, American, and talks *****e. If you are those things, then you will make the most money.
Some interesting questions - What are they? FMJ looks huge. Real interesting. Fischer sounds like a fool. How does disclosing your fight night weight mean anything?
It's just so interesting. Why do you suppose Floyd would need an IV to rehydrate? It's double interesting that he anticipated severe rehydration problems and aked for a TUE well in advance. Can you make sense of this?
Are you 10? It is called prudent planning. Dotting your i's and crossing your t's. Every professional athlete uses a IV for re-hydration, everyone!!! This should not have to be explained. The fact that FMJ's team was professional and knew how to fill out a form and request items in advance should be applauded. They made sure their fighter would prepared for all conditions leading up into the fight. Unlike the other side, waiting to the last minute to ask for Toradol. That is shady and embarrassing.
Of course they have. But not just his hands, but his shoulders. You can see he is not stepping into his punches like he use too. And I guarantee you he is stronger now than he was 5 years ago.

As usual, a real reporter breaks it down. And as usual, for most people in this thread are just being hoes. Stop making ***** up.
Stephen Smith has defended Floyd to death...Floyd is dead wrong here....this is a bad day for Floyd..he just threatened to fire his father for mentioning Manny
He didn't threaten his father for mentioning Manny. This is simple reading comprehension folks. Like any boss, he wants a consistent message from his employees. Is this really shocking news? If you do not know, say you do not know. What is wrong with what FMJ said about his Father(trainer)?
http://fighthype.com/mayweathernews/story18115.html
FM: (Cutting in) Well my father is totally wrong. Like I said before, we have people constantly being removed from the Mayweather Promotions team, Team Mayweather, and we also have people being removed from The Money Team. I want my dad to be with my team, but if he continues to go out there and speak on things that he has no knowledge about without communicating with me, then I must get a new trainer. I'm just saying, when Pacquiao was sleeping, everybody was like, "Y'all crazy for trying to make that Mayweather-Pacquiao fight." You know what's so crazy? I just look at the situation like this, ever since Ariza left Pacquiao, he hasn't had a knockout. What a coincidence!
Man cut all that boss Shiiet out! This is boxing! lol. Trainers, fighters, team mates, etc. Talk about potential match ups and fights all the Damm time! But when it comes to floyd the floyd fans want to make excuses talking about boss and employees acting like its some type of business company lol. Then what's funny next week floyd will be the topic again for acting a fool and the floyd fans will say boxing need drama floyd is smart lol.
Your statements show ignorance or lack of education.
fvck all that..this is b1tchassness to the fullest....no twisting it no taking up for him... it is time to make this damn fight happen if Manny beats Algeri...
How can a fight be made if Arum will not make the fight? Stop this silliness. Roach has been begging Arum to negotiate a fight with FMJ. Ariza stating on multiple occasions that Arum is not going to make the fight. For the idiots, Ariza was making these statements when he was with Manny and without him. All you fools in here writing like FMJ can make any fight he wants. Leaving out the fact that every fight with one of Arum fighters cannot get made. Stop being hoes, calm down, and push for Arum to make the fight. The problem is Arum left the negotiation table back in 2009 and never came back.
This is the fight that made Arum run for the hills. The drug tests and the stupid American Public gave him a way out of the first negotiations. Been running and trying to heist the news cycles ever since. Manny has never passed the Marquez test. Why would Arum put him in with FMJ? He would not, and won't. Simple common sense.
Yeah man. Everyone who followed the Pacquiao vs Marquez series knew each and every time they were both taking a huge risk by getting in the ring with each other. Lucky for us as boxing fans, that dudes like Marquez and Pacquiao are willing to risk themselves for our entertainment.
Cool thing about Floyd is that he isn't willing to take the same risks as Pacquiao and Marquez. You see it in his opponent selection and in the way he fights. Just an all around cautious and careful guy.
That is such BS. If Manny was truly taking a risk, he would not have waited so many years in between each fight with JMM. The first fight spooked them and they were avoiding JMM. There hope was that JMM would get old or that Manny skill/power would take JMM out as he got older. The last fight was the best Manny has ever looked against JMM and he still failed the test.
You forgot the most important integral part that you missed out in your analysis. And that because of that, your analysis should be in the trash bin lol
Here it is..
Floyd's opponent only had one had that night.
Whatever makes you sleep good at night in regards to the shoulder injury. You keep overestimating Manny's ability. He already proved that he cannot be competitive against FMJ with that strategy. You know what, keep believing.
Let's be realistic here, Canelo was made to order for Floyd. He's flat-footed and telegraphs punches from a mile away, Austin Trout would have beaten him if it weren't for the knockdown and Erislandy Lara practically gave away the fight when he decided to stop throwing punches.
Floyd said it himself on all access "We put him on our undercards, build him up to be something that he's not, and then we beat him".
Does Manny telegraph his punches/attacks?
Those were beautiful gifs.
The first one was a right hook when Floyd was lunging in. It hit the mark, but with pac's injury it had no zing into it. That shot with a healthy right could have ended the fight right there.
I can really see Pac winning cleanly if there was a part 2. Pac gave him helll with 1 hand. Impressive.
Pac is not winning anything if he tries to fight like he did on May 2nd. There game plan was to counter the counter puncher, but FMJ would not keep leading/overcommitting. That is a good plan if Manny could hurt FMJ, but he could not. Manny does not have the power to put him on the canvas with one punch and cannot play chess with FMJ - which is what they tried to do. The sad part for Freddie and his plan is that it became a boxing match where FMJ could use his distance control over and over again. Also, you could see the frustration on Manny's face with trying to stick to the plan. and be patient. Freddie tried to make Manny fight like Marquez and was mentally worn down after 6 rounds. If Manny fights like that again, he is not going to win 2 rounds - let alone 6 rounds against FMJ. And will most certainly be beaten in a even more convincing fashion the next time around.
FMJ is going fight Manny like he fought Judah and Mitchell. Close the distance and make Manny engage. Block/Smother Manny's offense, but be in range to fire back.
PAC sparring Lara shows they also think Floyd will move a lot
There's still a large contingent of Floyd fans that think Floyd will walk PAC down
I do not think FMJ walking Manny down after the 4th or 5th round should be that shocking. I definitely believe if Manny gives ground, FMJ will take up the space. I believe FMJ wants want to stay close to Manny. Force mistakes.
Smh at a few of the comments here.
If they are openly announcing that Pac is agreeing to the fight and has supposedly signed the contract already, it is a bad sign? Yet Floyd's silence isn't?
Imagine if it were the other way around with Haymon stating that Floyd has agreed to everything and has already signed yet Pac's side remains quiet. I bet they'd say Pac being quiet = bad sign
Arum did not say anything about Manny signing.
Actually plenty of people with huge brains full of boxing knowledge consider Roach the best trainer in the world...
I don't think he's the best right now, but he has been the best in the past.
You could make an argument he still is, though.
He has never been the best. Who gives a damn about popularity contests? And huge brains, really!!
:pat: uuhhh we live in a world of FACTS not OPINIONS. Funny how as soon as I mentioned floyds vampire facials, he stopped responding.
Who cares about a facial? Manny and Arum ducked their biggest fight over drug testing. Grow the fuk up and stop giving anyone a pass for drug testing just because FMJ is the opponent. Why did FMJ ask for testing? Why not!!! What is the problem if you are clean?
yes why collect all the information when you can just focus on one event. that should tell you the whole story. any good scientist would think this way. sh-it it snowed one day i guess global warming is fake! manny's been willing to take all the tests for 5 years now lol and you are still blaming him for not completely accepting 1 time. what about all the other times that made floyd look bad? i guess they didn't happen because of that one time...
That was the first event, but the only events(plural) I care about are Arum's quotes. And who gives a damn what Manny states, when Arum makes the decision. Saying you are willing and then saying it is up to Arum sorta makes your words meaningless. Would you agree? The true summary of this saga is will Arum let Manny fight FMJ. Not will FMJ fight Manny. That statement is the trick in this saga. And a trick well played because the majority of people are dumb, ignorant, lack common sense, etc.
To the bolded. That is the ignorance I am speaking of. Manny and Arum should have been ran out of the country for not accepting random drug testing from the beginning. Next, Arum proved he was full of **** when he gave excuse after excuse for not making the fight right before FMJ went to jail. Now, if you would like to state other times when the fight could have been made and FMJ was at fault and made to look bad, enlighten me. I think I just gave 2 attempts by FMJ's team to make a fight and Arum ran away. The only reason the fight has not been made is because of people like you. Your endless passes to Arum.
Ok if Freddie isn't the best pray tell us who is??:poke:
What makes him the best trainer? Awards mean nothing to me, I am not impressed. It damn sure is not the development of his prize pupil. And his statements are all over the place. Look, GGG is a good fighter, but anyone stating that in a couple of fights he will be the best P4P are silly. Other than the Canelo fight at 160lbs, those fights that would consider him the best P4P are not at 160lbs. And Canelo has not proven his P4P ability either. The truth is, GGG should beat Cotto and Quillen. So, if those were his next 2 fights would you consider him the best P4P? I hope not. If GGG beat Canelo next and then Ward, then you could make such a statement. GGG has not fought someone the caliber of Lara. And truth be told, that is the type of fight he should take to prove his versatility. Lastly, as far as trainers go, I would take FMJ SR., Brother Nasim, Nacho, Robert Garcia, and Virgil Hunter over Mr. Roach any day. I would take GGG's trainer Abel Sanchez over Roach.
