I'll start
I hate boxers that throw meaningless punches in flurries just to score points. Calzaghe, De la Hoya, SRL. These are 3 boxers that had punching power when they sat on their punches but many times they were content just throwing meaningless arm punches that barely landed just to get the attention of judges. I hate that boxing style.
Examples
Calzaghe vs Hopkins
De la hoya vs Whitaker
SRL vs Hagler
Clinchers, arm holders, runners, and pitty patters all must be destroyed. lol.
On another note, as much as I love aggressive fighters, I hate volume punchers that have no pop, lol. It's like watching an aggressive pitty patter, lol.
I don't particularly dislike any style of boxing, but as others have mentioned already, I can't stand fighters who use excessive clinching as a tactic. Wlad's fights since getting KO'd, many Ward fights, Carlos Molina, Floyd's last fight, ect. Those are the most off-putting fights/styles to view IMO.
LOL. At least Tim tries. He just doesnt posses natural punching power. On the other hand there's boxers who dont even try to hurt their opponent. They want to tap their way to a 12rnd decision.
I remember being disgusted by Cory Spinks style. It was horrible to watch. He would flick jabs while yelling for 12 rounds.
I fvcking hated Cory Stinks...
The crazy part is, he was still able to beat a pure boxer in Vernon Forrest twice!
Perfect example of someone having their number, like Vernon had Shane's.
I actually remember Vernon's face in the their first bout, he seemed intimidated for some reason. (Vs Mayorga).
A lot of excessive clinching posts, I agree with this. Also, there are some fighters (chris byrd) that were visually annoying/awkward to watch for me. While I knew it was physically impressive to slip punches the way he did, it was hard to watch.
Showboating in any way shows a disrespect IMO. But I understand the mental aspect of it.
i dont hate any style. one of the main reasons boxing is such a great sport is the vast amount of different styles and attributes that makes each fight different from the last. take away any style and the sport loses a great deal of its charm, even the ones i personally like the least still make boxing more intriguing as a whole.
the kind of fighters i am least excited about watching are the brute force, cavemen type fighters though. provodnikov, rios etc.. but i still recognize that they bring their own element to the game, they ask certain questions of fighters other styles dont.
the best aspect of boxing imo is the sport in its purest form, boxing. mastering the art of fighting is the superior way of fighting and that is done through skills and intelligence. watching a true master at work is boxing at its best.

He sure did, and Forrest was a beast!!!!!! Than Forrest turned around and murdered Shane in his prime twice, but Shane always struggled with taller rangier fighters.
Just goes to show styles make fights, and there's no such thing as triangle theories.
One of boxing greatest mysteries in my opinion.
It's because if Mayorga gets inside (like Maidana or Porter) he is very effective, and very strong. Forrest did a poor job of keeping Mayorga outside.
I don't mind a particular style and I like seeing styles clash.
However I really dislike fighters who seem to put more effort into dressing "flashy" and doing "antics" than they put into making the fight actually memorable from a boxing perspective.
Paulie and Broner was one of those fights I hoped would end in a double knockout. Those guys are both an eyeroll a minute.
Paulie is actually a good fire that is smart, can box, and is good defensively. He adapts well he just lacks power. I never used to like him but as I continued to watch his career I gained respect for him
Broner is just an overrated clown, that has made a living fighting smaller bum fighters. He unoriginal and corny. He doesn't have his own style and is too concerned with doing a Poor job of trying to be Floyd. He's all talk but when he faces real competition he gets exposed!
only real beef i have is with any style that requires consistent interference by the ref
i dont even care if you run, but dont run and when the guy finally catches up to you clinch
besides that, i suppose im not too fond of arm punchers

I hate feather fist fighters, Runners, and Shoulder rollers who cry to the ref every time their hit to the side of their head after turning into that direction
You have to use what you got. Mayorga had to things power and unpredictability.
He was so freaking slow I doubt head movement would have done much for him, he might as well conserve that energy to land big shots from odd angles.

how come no one mentioned fighters with no defense? that dont move their head at all and just be there waiting to get hit in exchange for one good punch like mayorga, thats just a plain stupid style in my book .

I would say those who hit and clinch right away. While i dislike when guys "run" around the ring like Lara did vs Canelo I do think boxers need to be able to adapt to their opponents. Cutting of the ring is something very few boxers do well at this moment.
I hate too much holding and running. i like clean fight were two fighter dont need the refs to break them up every 3 secs. i like a fight where 2 fighter come to fight
