There are a few possibilities here... 1 - floyd ego cannot stand the fact that he did little to nothing to the smaller pac and marquez knocked him flat out...wants to show he can really kick his ass once and for all 2 - Floyd may not be the absolute douchebag that he always seemed to be and maybe he feels like he should give Pac a chance knowing the shoulder injury....he has nothing to lose in his mind 3 - money, money, money...100 million check makes one very happy 4 - He is full of **** and just trolling 2/3 are most likely. Flowmos seem content in seeing their idol win against a disadvantaged opponent. I'm all for the rematch in December or March next year to give Pac time to heal. Floyd can enjoy his winnings and cancel September. I hope the rematch is on Free TV, outside Nevada, in a bigger stadium, tested by both VADA and USADA, with purse percentage split same as the first fight. These guys don't deserve another $400 million fight. Half a billion dollars for a boxing match is obscene. Lol anyone who buys into this is a jackass. The same thing that happened the fist time will happen a second. What, the man that everyone said would beat floyd, that he is afraid of. the team that launched multiple smear campaigns, and got the media on his back for 6 years gets beaten again, comprehensively in a rematch just for lulz whilst I see no need for the re-match, I think it would be the ultimate move for floyd to pull to end his career with the last laugh (providing he wins again)

If you didn't watch the fight, Floyd was the faster fighter by far, with quicker hands and feet.

Floyd said he'll fight him in a year after surgery. He knows not even half of the people who watched the first fight will watch this one. But he also knows Manny's washed up.

You are crazy if you think it won't do more PPV than if he fought Khan, Thurman, Cotto, Garcia and Brook. Thurman is an excellent fighter but he does not have a big fanbase, his exposure on NBC is great for him, makes a lot of sense. Khan has a big following in the UK (albeit not Hatton-esque) and poses an interesting stylistic matchup but he doesn't have a big following in the States though he is a bigger name than most fighters at 147. Brook has a belt but has NO following in the States. Cotto is a proven fighter with a following but it has also been proven that he can't beat Floyd although he put up a spirited performance. He lost to Trout and beat an old, injured Martinez. When that was rumoured before this fight, there was an outrage online. Garcia would be a terrible fight, he has so many questionable victories that it's not even funny. He has power but brings nothing else to the table. He doesn't really have a big following either. As a fan, I'd like to see Floyd v Khan in September (IF Khan looks good v Algieri). Thurman is the best fighter at 147 outside of Floyd and Manny but his rise has come about when both of those guys are at the tail-end of their careers and looking for big paydays for as little risk as possible. Thurman presents a BIG challenge, mainly for Manny because Floyd can just catch him when he loads up on his punches but Manny will probably engage with him and that would make for great viewing but would be dangerous for him.
