The Marquez KO of Pacquiao is a more impressive victory than any single Mayweather victory. While Floyd has had some very impressive fights he hasn't had one with as big a shock factor. It was impressive to me in the sense that it made an impression on me and is a very memorable moment. It is arguably less impressive in the boxing sense of being in awe of the skill on display. A one shot KO of one of the world's perceived best will always be more memorable than a slow domination by one of the world's perceived best of lesser competition.
And that is the problem! The guys he fought and dominated where not bums or lesser competition as you put it! Its not mayweathers fault that he made them look lesser in the ring! I don't think he should be discredited for polishing his skills and getting better at his craft then everyone else, its just not fair imo!
The only reason that ko stands out is bc of how controversial the 1st 3 fights where! Pacquiao will never fight Mayweather because Mayweather will always want almost all the money and Pacquiao won't ever go for that. Pacquiao can still make damn good money fighting other fighters.
