Lets see them. I often see posters, mostly liars, saying he comes in between 175 to 180.
Can we see some evidence of this?
Slipstream, MurkaMan, I'm looking at you.
I already exposed your stupid opinions on Floyd's weight with facts, common sense, and the entire history of combat sports and cutting weight. If your only response is "Why doesn't Floyd get on the scale" then we are done here. Have a nice night.
Also, who cares what other fighters do? Other fighters do not command 30+million a fight. So if Floyd does not want to get on a scale or do a backstage interview before the fight, guess what? He doesn't. The FACT remains he weighs 150 a month out from the fight, if you think he mysteriously puts on 13 lbs. the day of the fight, good for you, and good luck with that logic. He's a small WW. Get over it.
lol, dude is 160 on fight night.
lol @ you actually believing this. I guess the other fighters don't warm up.

See? Posts like this are just idiotic. Have you ever fought before? Do you understand the concept of cutting weight? Clearly Devon Alexander is 10 lbs. bigger than Floyd, he cut 13 lbs. of water to make weight, and put it back on after rehydrating before tonight. You are saying Floyd is a liar, so he weighs 150 lbs. 3 weeks out from a fight, and dehydrated himself the whole time, risking life, death, heart failure, just to perpetrate some elaborate lie that he is a small WW? Hahaha. Come on. You are talking like a Canelo groupie now. Floyds cuts NO WATER WEIGHT. So between the weigh-in and the fight, when he drinks water, eats two meals, he is not putting on TEN POUNDS. That is just asinine. The man eats garbage fast food during training camp and still maintains his weight. He walks around at 150. Just stop.
Like I said, the fight needs to be made, because for every advantage Canelo has, Floyd has as well. Stamina, speed, experience, etc. But stop bashing a guy and coming off as a hater, it makes you look weak.
If all that is true, why not weigh in on fight night? Why make it a big secret?
So you're saying Devon Alexander is bigger than Floyd? He just came into the ring at 160.
I'm not watching that fight on Showtime so I wouldn't know what Devon Alexander's weight is coming into the ring and his walk around weight...
From his height and reach, Devon has the same dimensions as Guerrero...
He's exceptionally disciplined with his weight maintenance. that is why he stays so low walking around.
Exactly. He does not cut water weight, so he is not putting on weight between the weigh-in and the fight. It's common sense. It is really not that complicated.
So you're saying Devon Alexander is bigger than Floyd? He just came into the ring at 160. And just because Floyd says he's 152 isn't enough for anyone to believe. The guy is a known liar. Floyd is more than likely entering the ring on fight night at 160 himself.

Floyd is the Ring Magazine and WBC Champion at 147. He can stay at that weight and say screw the WBA 154 belt if he wants.
Also, I said he comes to the ring AROUND 152. Not an exact weight...I doubt that he comes to the ring in-shape much higher than that...

anyway canelo is 154 and floyd is a 154 champ so if they fight, it should be at 154

No, hes not. Hes a regular sized welterweight. Not overly big and not overly small.
Sorry, that is wrong. Regular sized guys at a weight class do not weigh their fight weight weeks out from a fight. Regular sized guys do not only put on a few lbs. tops from the weigh in to the fight. Floyd is a 140 lbs. guy. He cuts literally nothing to make WW. He weighs around 150 over 30 days out from a fight. He is small for the weight class. Regular sized guys put on 10 lbs. between the weigh in and the fight, and big guys put on 15-20 lbs or more.
Love how Floyd apologists make Canelo out to be some mythical monster at 154.
He's a big kid, he will have to move up to 160 in the next few years, but he is not some beast at 154.
Floyd looked just as big as ginger when he fought Cotto. I am sure Floyd doesn't walk in the ring as big as Canelo but its not some insane difference. Its just an excuse if Floyd ducks Canelo, which right now I think he will.
I will eat crow if Floyd takes the fight though....
Floyd will take the fight, but it is a 20 lbs. difference. That is a big difference. But when you're the best in the world, you take the fight anyway. And like I stated, Canelo sacrifices stamina by cutting that much water weight. So the fight needs to happen, period. There is no doubt Canelo beats the **** out of Pacquiao at 154, Canelo-Floyd is THE fight in boxing.
To be fair Floyd is a small WW, he weighs around 147 weeks before the official weigh in. When someone does that, they are not cutting a lot of water weight and are not going to put on much weight between the weigh-in and day of the fight. But that also gives Floyd a huge edge in stamina.

it seems more like the floyd haters TRY to make it out (unsuccessfully) to make it out that floyd fans make out canelo to be this mythical monster, so that the haters can make it out to seem like the fans are making excuses for making it out to seem like canelo is this mythical monster. did you follow that?
anyway canelo is 154 and floyd is a 154 champ so if they fight, it should be at 154 and there is no weight excuse or any other excuse that is necessary, period.
and i hear bbq sauce goes great with crow, so have that on hand within a year or so...

Ok, so if you can't confirm what a fighters fight night weight is because that guy refuses to let it be known, you shouldn't say what hes peaking at. Because realistically, the guy is in his mid 30s. Hes going to pack on more weight. His ticket is, he wants to be known as this little tiny guy. If he didn't, he would just step on the scale like everyone else.

Floyd comes in around 150. It's 20 lbs, but so was SRR and Lamotta etc. Plus Canelo sacrifices advantages to cut down to 154. The bottom line is Floyd has fought at 154 and Canelo is the biggest and best fight, it needs to happen, period.
Can't really do that as I haven't seen any fight night weights from Floyd when he fought a JMW fight. He weighed in at 150 against Oscar, and at WW he was at 146 vs Judah and 149 against Baldomir. I'll see if I can find more...
That thing with Baldomir was kind of irrelevant because Floyd was taller and had a longer reach than Carlos. He has a longer reach than Canelo, but that's about it

He comes in around 170 now as he is filling out. The most he is going to put on is 20 lbs, so around 174. But it doesn't matter. As an intelligent poster stated on the first page, if you cut too much weight it depletes your stamina (Canelo fights in spurts) and also hurts your ability to take punches. By being dehydrated your brain does not have sufficient fluids and you cannot take shots the same. That is why guys chins get better as they move up in weight often. Regardless, Floyd needs to fight him. It's a 7 lbs. weight class difference, that's soft, and Floyd has fought there before. Plus Canelo cannot fight a full 3 minutes for 12 rounds.
Personally, we should see Floyd-??(Khan would make sense as he brings in the UK PPV buys) and Canelo-Cotto share a card in September, and then Floyd-Canelo in May. That maximizes the hype and the money.
That is only speculation. Unless you can confirm it.
