Should Canelo do Floyd how Floyd did JMM on the scales

Just thought about how Floyd and JMM was at 144 and Floyd came in heavy and paid alittle cash to jmm and fought him.. What happens when Canelo does the same thing and comes in at 154 at the weight in instead of the agreed 152.... Does floyd throw a tantrum and not fight..... or does he take some canelo cash and fight him anyway.... What you think about htis scenario.. If im canelo i come in at 154 and see what Floyd does... highly doubt they would pull the plug on the biggest fight of the year over 2 pounds.... Please discuss He prob wouldnt fight

How can you lose the 154 belt if he weights 154... Im not saying canelo comes in at 160,,, Just saying that he should come in at the 154 limit and see what floyd does.... It's not called 154 belt...it's jr middle weight belt...so any fight over 147 is considered jr middle weight and the last I checked the contract weight is 152 for jr middle weight championship not 154. I think he will do his best to make the 152 pound limit he agreed to. So professional that he broke a catchweight agreement of 151lbs and came in at 153lbs against Matthew Hatton. I keep saying it, but people keep on as if Mayweather is the only one of the two with form for this. They've both done it so there's no karma involved. That aside, if Alvarez does come in at 154lbs, as stated, all excuses for a loss are gone and Mayweather should get full credit for a win if gets one.

It's possible there is something in the contract about Canelo coming in over 152 pounds. As long as Canelo is at or under 154 I think Floyd will still fight him if he gets some extra cash. I can't see Floyd giving up all those millions and all the hard work he put in training for the fight.

It really doesn't matter. 2 pounds wont change the outcome of the fight. It only changes the built in excuses that people are already coming up with. I thought we were mad at Floyd for being a hypocrite. Either way Canelo wont be drained over 2 pounds. May the best man win.

He absolutely should do it! F*ck it!!!! Pay the fine, it is the biggest fight of his life, he may as well be completely comforatable!!! He has nothing to lose, and if he wins the payoff is worth the risk of taking a couple million dollar hit, even if it is that high.

I have a feeling it would be a very costly decision but I wouldn't be mad if he did it. It shouldn't effect the outcome of the fight though. The fight would go on as scheduled. Too much money at stake to cancel it.

Why not?? Karma is a b1tch. Floyd probably had them put in the contract a ridiculous fine if Canelo doesn't make the limit. Floyd's too smart for this. $3M per pound or something wild like that. Dan rafael said on twitter that there was a clause in the contract regarding a fine for each pound over, he hadnt been informed on the fine amount but he was told it was a lot of money. I think it's fair to say it will be a lot more than 300,000 per pound like the Marquez fight
