Canelo's body was there against the ropes all night and ggg neglected it, body shots open head shot ffs. the fight would've been even more decisive or even ko if ggg would've attacked there. Don't know if it was abel's fault or ggg just caught in the spotlight..
Teddy's score is as bad as Byrd's!
I think a draw is fair. It was a close, competitive fight.
I honestly thought they were going to give Golden Alvarez all of GGG's belts like how Kovalev got shafted.
Ggg set the pace for 8 straight rounds. Canelo had a flurry here or there, but the momentum never changed. I would definitley not call this a competitive fight.
1 power shot from ggg is like equal to 5 canelo power shots. whatever ggg hit canelo put the ginger in survival mode, so i'd say ggg's punches were more effective. One could argue that golovkin's jab acted like a power shot.
It's not just clean eye catching punches that count, it's also how the other fighter is affected by punches as well. Ggg neutralized canelo's attack with his power, the ginger wilted for the majority of the fight.
I don't hate a draw, but it's still a bad score imo..
if you watched tyson hes= been tit for tat with amaiteurs. Let;s see what were the weights for tyson wilder? who governs that, why is that legal. ok. they don't do that in any other wieight class of course wilder was beaten , he was fighing a man 5 weight classes above him
Nonito's left hook has the power to break Rigondeaux's jaw like it did to Mathebula, there's no doubt about that if it connects.
it was a straight right that broke Mat's jaw mate......
the question is whether or not he will be more recognized after his previous endeavor - i doubt it. who knows, maybe a multitude of pac fans will watch him hoping to see him lose....other than that, he just doesn't have the persona or style that would attract the mainstream fan.
i could easily be wrong though, the f/cker did just decapitate one of boxings biggest names....
It will mean I haven't lost money at the bookies and I'm up a few quid.
NSB will blow up, the servers will crash, the floyd d1ck riders will be broken, they will vanish like the *******s did, NSB will return to normality and hopefully the ducking ad picking template perfected by Floyd will be thrown in the bin and we can get back to good fights being made not avoided
The chances of it happening, slim...but here is to hoping. Boxing wins if he gets beaten IMO

i'm a big fan of both fighters, and was rooting for this matchup for a long time, easily one of my most anticipated fights of the year. the downside is it's going to suck to see either of them lose ....
man i miss that guy- he would've produced so many memorable fights had he not left us/been locked up, and had a good chance at reaching the top...what a waste of talent....
same here, not excited but will watch it coz I'm curious if Manny has anything left and I'm sure this will not be a boring fight...

this matchup is a stylistic dream...two guys with massive ko power who always fight with a warrior's mentality, i f/ckin' love it.
sadly, it's a bit of a mismatch though. i only wish bam bam had a little more speed and was more technically proficient. this will be a hattonesque type of fight.
i'll take kessler by ko for this fight...
froch will be more aggressive and kessler will
act more as a counter puncher when compared to their previous fight...
froch will be very successful, winning the early rounds with his aggression, but will have taken some massive counter shots in the process. kesslers pinpoint precisionwill have taken its toll by the eighth, and puts froch on his arse...kessler finishes the job in the ninth...
As of right now - if you watch their fights and look at their resume, it's clearly Ward..... but I see a bright future for Broner, kids got some serious skills.....
they're mad that he declined to fight somebody that he already dominated???!!! what a fat sack of sad jokes these bums are......
good for bradley for saying no to such a sh*t fight....
A fan of boxing appreciates the skills that each top tier fighter presents, and debates in an intelligent manner as to who is the better fighter.....
Then we get the fanboys, a mindless clusterf/ck of squabling pigeons - it's sad to say they make up the majority of this forum....
I think what Larry is trying to say is that he's just a little bit homo....:D
But in reality, sex with one fine girl (albeit, one who needs a shitload of makeup) would not be on par with a super match like that.
Tim wants PAC to be over-aggressive so he can catch him with counters, and when pacquaio gets hit, he'll get even more aggressive. Tims looking for the counter ko
yeah, that's the same thing i was thinking. it's a little obvious how tim is baiting pac into a war, but he just doesn't have the power to slow pac down.
even a perfectly set up shot from bradley wouldn't faze pac, i don't see how manny loses this fight.
hahaha... I loved the part where they started arguing about "Running vs Boxing"
Pac.. "We call that Running."
Max.. "You call boxing, running?"
Pac.. "Yah, that's running.. we call that running"
hahahahha.. like a thread from NSB. Tim seemed really insulted that Pac called him a runner. I hope Timmy tries to go to war. This has potential. Could be epic if one of these dudes decides to go HAM and throw caution to the wind.
what, that hectari dickface didn't post the full video?
canelo looked great last night. canelo's punches took a lot out of the dog, the reason why angulo threw so many arm punches and was so sluggish.
i thought the stoppage was a little premature though. that being said, angulo would've just been oupointed til the end had the ref not stopped the fight.
