A fan of boxing appreciates the skills that each top tier fighter presents, and debates in an intelligent manner as to who is the better fighter.....
Then we get the fanboys, a mindless clusterf/ck of squabling pigeons - it's sad to say they make up the majority of this forum....
Have you looked at your sig lately?
It is I that bows before the holy tabernacle of johnm.
Don't sell yourself short. Sweet Pea is GOD.
I'm gonna write a book about it. 2000 years from now people are gonna worship you.

When a Tin God Goes Down Hard VIII
Sad what Mannys fanbase has been reduced to.
The once annoying yet proud bunch are now just all trolling the board 24/7 with anti-Floyd talk. They cant even muster up a thread actually rooting for their guy.
It was all good just a week ago.
This is really the heart of the matter here, it isn't so much that they were truly fans of Manny, they simply hated Floyd Mayweather and will hide behind any champion they think can beat him. Manny Pacquiao was merely a fig leaf hiding their true sentiments, now that the leaf has been brutally ripped from them all they have left is blind rage standing embarrassingly alone. I feel sorry for the fact that Manny's fans didn't have more substance but the fact is they don't.
When a tin god goes down hard he takes all of the illusions with him.....
yea Pacquiao has to stay active for his style of boxing. That's why when he was getting big and winding down to only 2 fights a year, i was like damn how does he stay sharp and active.
because in the offseason he does nothing but b.s. boxing you gotta stay active and 100% committed
Pacquiao already had 3 loses before Floyd made his own schedule, so I don't understand how he could be undefeated.:pat:
First fact is Marquez and this above is the second fact
He would be undefeated as well
Pacquiao is the type of fighter, that needs to stay active. His style is what adds mileage to him, but it's also what made him popular and exciting.
Dont use lay off excuses to praise Floyd, cos Floyd wouldnt have it any other way. He performs best after lay offs. If he fought regularly hed have 3 losses now.
Floyd isnt some charity case, poor lil Floyd he had a long lay, let him fight some mexican roadsweepers.
This doesn't make any sense whatsoever. How does taking lay offs make you a better fighter? Aging and inactivity causing ring rust is what long periods of lay offs do to fighters.

Indeed.
Floyd was active in the earlier part of his career as was Pac. Pac suffered loses during that time. While they were both pretty active. There is nothing wrong with suffering a loss but don't get the thread. its basically already been proven wrong unless he means if Pac fought on the schedule Floyd did the second half of his career he would have remained undefeated? Floyd became less active after Hatton.
This thread doesn't even warrant a clever response.
I'll just stick with the definition of fact

You should be feeling a bit empty about the intent of this thread, right about now.
Lay offs dont enhance your skills, Manny loses to JMM 5 outta 8 times reguardless
With lay offs you can perfect your skills, you have a lot of time for that. And when Floyd isnt fighting he is training. For other boxers though their lay offs might be spent doing other things so its not as beneficial as it so obviously is for Floyd.
Your maths are wrong. Pac has fought JMM 4 times and beat him 3 times if not scorecard error.
If Pac had the luxury of a 2 year lay off to solely prepare for JMM hed ko JMM in 4 rounds. FLoyd knew for a long time he wanted JMM. Just like JMM just makes sure hes ready for Pac.
