All of a sudden Adonis v Kovalev isn't a worthwhile fight?

This sport has actually made me a tennis fan. At least with tennis there are tournaments prior to every big finals match and thru the process of elimination the best end up facing off against the best leaving 1 champion. For those fat Yank NFL fans on this site, imagine if the AFC told FOX that they wouldn't play games on their network anymore, and FOX started signing exclusives with NFC teams so they only played on their network, so we couldn't get a real Super Bowl whenever the Super Bowl was on FOX or CBS.

Other than Assassin, who seems to have lost his mind when it comes to Kovalev, I haven't seen anyone say Stevenson/Kovalev isn't a great fight.

It's a good fight no doubt, but u can't fight two people at once and Hopkins got chosen since he is a bigger name..

It's a great fight between two of the best, hardest punching guys around. I think Kovalev wants it much more than Stevenson does.

This is how boxing is now a days in the internet age, It's full of fanboyz who just want to see their heroes in showcase fights they have zero chance of losing. That way they can maintain their internet egos while fawning over them all day.

Great thread but you forget OP, it is a business move which benefits posters in this forum since they get a percentage of that business deal. You forget that this forum is full of business men who follow the sport for the excitement of negotiations. The fights are nothing compared to the thrill of a lustful business move. I think OP is basing it all just on this post. Problem is that Fetta has always held this opinion as far as I can tell and it wasn't all of the sudden. (see here, here, and here) These type of thread always annoy me. Generalizing what everyone thinks based on a few posts instead of accepting that different people have different opinions.
