Rigo vs Donaire Sign in

I don't see how a real boxing fan can hate either of these two fighters. They are both exceptionally talented boxers who deserve respect if not admiration...

I like Nonito, but I'm a fan of Rigo. Guillermo is the emissary of the Cuban school of boxing. Although I like Gamboa more, "El Chacal" is the standard bearer. Unless Rigo gives me good reason to dislike him, I'll always root for him over any opponent. It's nothing against Donaire or anyone else.

Rooting for Rigo, betting on Donaire. Just hoping for a competitive fight where both guys show why they're the top of their division.

im a fan of both. obviously, donaire is at a more advanced stage in his career & and has done more in the ring. he earned his elite status. but rigo is such a talent where we just assume him to be elite. this is his chance to prove it. i see rigo & coach diaz frequently down here, they are good guys. i think for a "whats best for boxing" mentality, i think nonito would be the more marketable fighter. his p4p ranking, KOs, & fighting style would serve to fill in the gap of the next generations need for a "star". rigo is a purists' dream though, he is the superior boxer, IMO... its just that donaire has the intangibles that can equalize that. i cant wait for this fight.

I'm both a Donaire and Rigo fan. I'm rooting for Rigo here. It would be more fun to see him win and face the elite of the sport. Also a bit sour on Donaire with the Mares bull****.

I think that Rigondeaux is going to be too much for Donaire, Rigo is just a flat out phenomenal talent. But, I don't really have a rooting interest in this fight I just hope that it lives up to the hype.

Voted Nonito hater on accident. I'm rooting for Nonito to win, but dont mean I dislike Rigo. I'm a boxing fan and I don't deny talent.

Rigo lover but not a Donaire hater

Im shockingly surprised by Nonito having more haters so far id think Rigo would beat him in that by a mile a lot of hardcore boxing fans don't like the fact he got to where he's at so fast but he did in he's own merit the dude is old in boxing years and earned a world championship, cant hate him for talent and bein fast tracked. Now hating Nonito probably would be because of he's fans only he deserves no hate he has earned it and is fighting the true competition now not just coasting so i don't see how you can hate on either. I didn't vote coz I didn't hate rigo. I hate Floyd for ducking Pac and the way he lied in the media. I'm just having fun with Predictions. But those are my honest take on it!

not a Donaire hater just feel he been somewhat overrated he is skilled good speed and power but his biggest attribute is his ability to make 118-122 when he looks like should be fighting at LW
