Floyd was 160 or close enough to it againest Marquez, a little lighter againest Mosley. Im surprised hes at 149 now. I expected 153, but hes always in shape , so actually boxing im not surprised his body lost weight quick its very possible. i expect him tobe 156 on fight night. 2 pounds more maybe.

pacquiao has shown he belongs at 147 and can fight bigger fighters while maintaining speed, and power.
had this fight happened during pacs victory with hatton at 135-140, would been the best time.

I like how people always say you need a jab and need to do this and that to beat mayweather. Don't you think everyone he's fought went in with that gameplan. It's easy on the outside to look in and say you should do this or that, but when you get in that ring and someone takes things away from you then what? Oscar did ok in a few rounds with the jab but Mayweather took it from him. We all know what happened after that.

i said the same jab, high energy output when Mosley was fighting him. what happened? Mosley did exact what he should been doing in rounds 1-2. high energy, jab, then come in with combos. Mosley landed a big right after the jab and came in quick. But hes old and faded out and stopped. something a Prime Mosley wouldnt have done that.
If Ortiz stays there and thinks alot, hell lose cause Mayweather will take advantage. Ortiz needs to push the pedal effectively the whole fight. His power and size is the difference. Now thats Mayweathers a little older and his legs dont seem there that much, he can do this with a better success rate.
Mayweather is great, but age and inactivity hurt anyone even if you keep yourself in shape. But like i said i still give May the fight in a tight fight cause hell take advantage of Ortiz not throwing and counter him most the time when hes lazy without the jab coming in.

Bradley has very SNEAKY power. That shot was very on point and I even felt that.

I think people really expect Cotto to just try to chase Pac and that Pac will be Mr Super Speedy and just hit all night. That Cotto is done, finished, and at 145 he's going to lose because Manny did what he did in his past win. Is it true your only as good as your last win? Tell that to Hopkins after losing to Calzaghe then fighting Pavlik. Tell that to Juan Diaz after losing to Campbell then fighting Micheal - styles makes fight and you got to remember Cotto's stiff jab to the key to this one. I see Manny trying to combo his punches and fail cause Cotto will distrupt his rhytem and probably keep him honest with body shots. This fight is very much in Cotto's favor, don't forget who Cotto is.

When the guy is beaten, cut up, most of his fight he ends up winning by KO, or lasting up to the LAST round. This has happened a couple times even at a WEIGHT-DRAINED WEIGHT OF 140. The only time where he didn't make it was in the Margarito fight - a fight where a busted nose occurred in the 2nd round and if you box yourself ; you should know if you cant breathe correctly through your nose, your in trouble. How Cotto lasted 11 rounds with a problem like that is testament to his work ethic ALONE , but people tend to ignore this.
I'm not worried about his stamina come fight night, Cotto always works hard and brings it. The only thing anybody should be worried about is his gameplan on stopping Pac's speed that's all.

JMM is a harder puncher than Clottey, and Cotto at times was buzzed against Clottey. Think about that for a minute. And this isn't a pro-Floyd agenda here. If Pacquiao was the same size as Cotto I would give Cotto no chance at all in that fight. But the reason why I slightly lean toward Cotto is the combination of the size advantage for Cotto and the fact that Pacquiao is a warrior when it comes to engaging. But most of all, Pacquiao doesn't have that weapon to exploit Cotto's main weakness, which is the uppercut.
One thing I don't think your realizing here is weight divisions.
That's why they are there. I remember Horus saying how Mayweather-Marquez should be taken seriously cause of the skills they both have.
If your skill doesn't translate to a higher weight especially againest one of the best at the higher weight ; you don't belong there.
Cotto is a top WW who's faced the best there and skilled himself ; Marquez shouldn't be as fast and as strong to handle a true WW's punches and it seems like Cotto would be faster at WW anyway.
