Im seriously predicting a close decision in May vs Ortiz

why do people do this? once a fighter says a quote you guys always use it as a response. "its easy on the outside to look in and when you get in the ring its different" you know how many people have said AFTER the faceoff? and 0 times before it. and i say what i did cause its true. when Oscar didnt just chill there and did something starting with his good jab even though he didnt land his combos cleanly his activity alone let the judges hand him to him. you get what im getting at? i said the same jab, high energy output when Mosley was fighting him. what happened? Mosley did exact what he should been doing in rounds 1-2. high energy, jab, then come in with combos. Mosley landed a big right after the jab and came in quick. But hes old and faded out and stopped. something a Prime Mosley wouldnt have done that. If Ortiz stays there and thinks alot, hell lose cause Mayweather will take advantage. Ortiz needs to push the pedal effectively the whole fight. His power and size is the difference. Now thats Mayweathers a little older and his legs dont seem there that much, he can do this with a better success rate. Mayweather is great, but age and inactivity hurt anyone even if you keep yourself in shape. But like i said i still give May the fight in a tight fight cause hell take advantage of Ortiz not throwing and counter him most the time when hes lazy without the jab coming in. because people have bee saying it for years...nothing new was stated in that faceoff...you think anyone in recent years has gone in and expected to be shut out 7 rounds to 1 and think "well if i punch him head on, he'll counter me and hit me in my face...i don't want to be hit in my face :( "?...that's basically what has happened...ortiz will have a chance because he's bigger than floyd, but i doubt his combination abilities, and banking on that is not the same in a floyd fight because guarantee there will be experienced and seasoned judges who will look for a lot more than "work rate" and "movement"...floyd will clearly show who out punches who within those 3 minutes anyway...he always has...

Mayweather will have an easy fight, Ortiz doesn't have the ability to hit Mayweather often or off-balance. Mayweather will see every punch and counter.

Its hard for me to think this fight will be different from Floyds fights vs. Gatti/Corrales. I'm pulling for Ortiz, and I hope he can at least make it exciting, if not a war. I seriously believe Floyd shines against offensive fighters like Ortiz.

I always said to beat Floyd you need to have a good jab and a high energy level to come in constantly with combos to smother him and STEAL rounds at this point in Floyds career. The person has todo this ALL night. Does Ortiz have a good jab? the kid has NO jab, a lazy one if any. if he wants to have a good chance to win he needs to ****ing jab. Does Ortiz have a high energy level? at 147, yes. he has youth, power, size, and new found confidence. Hes a warrior now. And i doubt hes going to lay over, his attitude just doesnt warrent that anymore. How will this go? First two rounds slow, mid Ortiz getting frustrated and landing power shots in bursts to get Mayweather. Mays backpeddling to counter but Ortiz is stealing rounds even if he isnt landing cause its showing more than May. Now, during Berto fight, i see Ortiz relax at times. This is when May boxes his ears off and can set the tempo of the fight and CLEARLY take rounds. I see May sweeping the last few rounds unless Ortiz wakes up and steals rounds DLH style. Do i think Mayweather will drop or get hurt? Yes, but not knocked out. Ive always believed Ortiz had freakish power, once he taps you or even if you try to exchange he will land. No different here.
