is this in question?
ortiz is far 2 good to not hit floyd clean
and he has knocked down everyone he has faced
i think floyd will win but it will be life and death
trust me, mid 30's
against mid 20's? have you heard the guys floyd's sparring?
nowhere on ortiz's level, speed wise, power wise, a southpaw with power is RARE
a southpaw on that level is extremely rare. Valero would have been the best bet, and he usually beat his sparing partners up
This is a 55-45 fight, what a great card, this a boxing fans dream, i'm ultra excited, i wonder if floyd has took the criticism from dana white personally and said to golden boy 'here's an extra million, stack the card'
no way they could afford it otherwise, it wasn't long ago people where saying golden boy was in trouble
boxing is back, and im not a 'flomo'
Rarely hurt. I guess I wouldn't say Judah staggered him, but he timed him good lunging in.
Yep..and what alot of people dont realize when thet talk about fighting a southpaw.
Its VERY difficult to look good facing southpaw. When you throw punches againt a SP your feet are exactly lined up with his as are your hands and your head.
People hold floyd at such a high standard that if he doesnt look great in every moment if the fight theyll hold onto that.
What fighters have done better against southpaws?
Judah caught him off balance..when have you ever seen floyd hurt, i mean hurt like you see many other boxers?..at the most he lays on the ropes and recovers while blocking hisopponents punches.

Oritz will not be hitting Floyd cleanly, where would you get such an idea?
Also, I don't mean to talk ****..but Wiz on a signature? in a boxing forum? You must be a teenager...anyway no comment.
Too bad ortiz's right hand is his dominant one..and too bad floyds never lost to a southpaw or been knocked out, down, never even staggered.
Hmmm..i wonder what will happen.
Like I said ortiz's dominant hand is his right..so that means his dominant leg is also..torque comesfrom rotation through the body. Notice how ortiz throws the hook uppercut combo with his right hand all the time, thats because he feels more comfortable using his more dominant limbs.
Judah staggered him(Should have been ruled a knocked down, glove hit the canvas), and Corley stunned him for a little bit.

Um... Ortiz isn't that good if you haven't realized it. He quit against Maidana in 6 rounds and got dropped I think twice in that fight. He also got dropped HARD against Berto both from right hands and Floyd is a way more accurate puncher than either of those guys. Just because Ortiz beat Berto doesn't mean sh*t, Callazo did it first but as you say with Floyd, Berto got a gift in that fight as well and Collazo isn't even that good. Ortiz did nothing more than beat a bigger hypejob that himself and it was a hypejob who had fought one round in 13 months. Please, anyone with an actual brain knows this fight is a farce like the majority of Floyds last few fights and its a KO win for Floyd to look good prior to the Manny fight should it happen.
Interesting insight. It's also interesting people forget Floyd has been inactive for almost 2 years and he's notfighting some unknown tomato can/journeyman.
So because it's Floyd, the inactivity doesn't matter? You consider him to be that good to come back against a live opponent and totally blow him out?
That's the paradox: "...anyone with an actual brain knows this fight is a farce like the majority of Floyds last few fights."
Yet he's good enough to beat a young, strong, champion who owns a title belt.

Corley and Judah are not massive punchers
i watched the demarcus corley fight recently and i was shocked how often floyd got hit, floyd's hiding behind the shoulder defence doesn't work as well with a southpaw, he's open to the straight left

then floyd will grow fangs and a tail and start spittin fireballs
That was a hell of a prediction by Brother Naazim which came true and made his fighter look terrible.
watch the berto fight and the nate campbell fight
Watched.
He has a non-existent jab.
Sometimes none at all.
Corely landed more on Floyd, because Floyd was very aggressive and went for the KO vs a Southpaw. He criticized Zab for being tentative and wanted to make a statement.
Nah....Ya'll underestimate Ortiz like he's some chump!! Like Mayweather is invincible ans sh1t.....like he wasn't given a gift against Castillo and like he hasn't been rocked by lesser opponents than Ortiz.
Weren't you the guy that said Berto would totally outclass and embarrass Ortiz?

What happens when Victor hits floyd clean?
I think Floyd goes down. He was rocked by Shane---the same Shame that was run out of the ring by Pacquiao. Ortiz may lose and may get outboxed, but the man knocks down virtually everyone he fights. Maidana is one tough dude and he was down three times. Ortiz has one punch power and I think he's gonna surprise a lot of people. (Actually, just the flomos...are there a lot of them?)
You failed with the same Mosley comment , Shane had slipped a lot further when he fought Pac , the other point is how many smaller guys can take that right hand from Mosley , buckle , and then still control the round and dominate the fight , could Manny take that right hand when less have knocked him down and out .
Its a very dangerous fight for Floyd no doubt about it , this aint the Maidana Ortiz , this is a whole new beast that is brimming in confidence and at a weight that Roach said he a totally different fighter and he has nothing to lose because people have wrote him off anyway , you know what Manny would not fight Ortiz without a CW have a think about that .
