Its VERY difficult to look good facing southpaw. When you throw punches againt a SP your feet are exactly lined up with his as are your hands and your head. People hold floyd at such a high standard that if he doesnt look great in every moment if the fight theyll hold onto that. What fighters have done better against southpaws?

Um... Ortiz isn't that good if you haven't realized it. He quit against Maidana in 6 rounds and got dropped I think twice in that fight. He also got dropped HARD against Berto both from right hands and Floyd is a way more accurate puncher than either of those guys. Just because Ortiz beat Berto doesn't mean sh*t, Callazo did it first but as you say with Floyd, Berto got a gift in that fight as well and Collazo isn't even that good. What happens when Victor hits floyd clean? I think Floyd goes down. He was rocked by Shane---the same Shame that was run out of the ring by Pacquiao. Ortiz may lose and may get outboxed, but the man knocks down virtually everyone he fights. Maidana is one tough dude and he was down three times. Ortiz has one punch power and I think he's gonna surprise a lot of people. (Actually, just the flomos...are there a lot of them?) You failed with the same Mosley comment , Shane had slipped a lot further when he fought Pac , the other point is how many smaller guys can take that right hand from Mosley , buckle , and then still control the round and dominate the fight , could Manny take that right hand when less have knocked him down and out .
