the problem with boxing is that it does not have a world body like soccer has FIFA or tennis has the ATP. Your suspended in Nevada, apply for a license in California....
I am sorry and anyone can shoot me if they want to but as a former PAC fan I am still skeptical on how he went from having trouble with Marquez to blowing the top guys away like it was nothing. I have to wonder how he went from being a good fighter to being an unbelievable sansation. Most of you will just act naive and not question this but you have to wonder if you have a little common sense! Before a good punch from Marquez would stop Pac in his tracks and now he takes a solid punch from Clottey, Cotto, Margarito and he just smiles like my 2year old daughter punched him. Now, explain how that happens overnight...please, someone explain it!
And for those of you who will be quick to call me a Flomo or whatever else don't even bother because I was one of those who actually watched Floyd in hopes that he would loose cause I just never got to liking the guy. So, please save me the nonsense about me defending Floyd because I am not a fan of his and never have been! I am just pointing out some basic facts.
And I know that boxers get better with time but this was not Pac getting better....this was Pac being a great boxer and all of a sudden BOOM...he is the next wonder of the world!
Now, when was the last time that something like this happened with any other fighter in the world? None of us can remember, right? That's because no one can recall it happening. I mean imagine if Mikes Tyson started out a pretty good fighter with pretty decent power and then all of a sudden he starts blowing out bigger guys out of the ring...you tell me you're not going to be a little suspicious about that? You have ask yourself...well, why didn't he do that before? And don't tell me it's the trainer or a new technique. A new trainer or new technique don't help you to take the kind of punches that Pac takes now that he obviously couldn't take before. So, what gives? I don't know but to me the math doesn't add up. I really want to and hope that it's all him, that's all natural but why wasn't it there from the beginning? That's the question I would like answered. In my humble opinion such Big change in such Short time begs the question.........HOW????
i fully concur. The last time i saw Pac hurt was round 7/8 against Marquez(2nd fight), since then he just smiles punches away.
cotto was running away the second part of the match.
he was trading with pacquiao the first few rounds and got floored twice.
cotto adjusted.
i agree with this, brutal ass whipping aside....Cotto tried a different technique.
JMM is a splendid boxer and as always put a master perfomance. He wont be as slow as Pac's last 2 opponents so he might pose some problems. Plus he's a master counter puncher.
And JMM always goes down, but gets up and finishes the fight or stops his man.
i would say the following are overrated;
Pacman - he cherry picks opponents and always looks at a weakness beforehand. Even his trainer always tells you why they are going to fight an opponent. Also, he hasnt really dominated any division. PBF already beat Hatton and DLH, only Cotto and Clottey are great wins of his past 4 fights.
Floyd Mayweather - Simply because he refuses to fight the best fighter in his prime. i.e. Pacman. And i do agree with his OST stance, but he should still find a way to make the fight.
Joe Calzaghe - Fought past his prime Jones and Hopkins. He should've fought them earlier.
Hamed - Was good but he's not legendary.
everyone else on that list is legendary to me.
not really. It was randon in that only the doping officials knew if they were going to test them again or not. They could've tested them 2 days before if they wanted.
Now, Team Pac wants to know when the doping officials will stop coming.
Whoever said Lewis deserves to die and doesn't know a thing about boxing.
I have to agree with you there, afterall LL defeated these boxers;
Golota (at his prime)
Razor Ruddock(who was favourite)
Frank Bruno
Ray Mercer
Evender Holyfield (beat a prime Evander twice)
Rahman
Vitali Klitshcko
Tyson(shot to death though)
Tommy Morrison
He avenged both his losses and Riddick Bowe refused to fight him.
Hatton. Fail.
Fixed.
Pac's last 3 opponents hadnt won 2 fights in a row before facing him. Can he fight someone who at least has a winning streak?
Shane Mosley hasnt won a fight in over 12 months

I may be reaching here but.... Do you wear condums? Why?..... The rumor is,Pac may be doing something wrong. No Sr did not start it, but he is the first to make his feelings public.
Deal with it, Manny is either dirty (He refused to be randomly tested) or he's clean but has been living under a rock to not know the backlash for refusing.
Instead of asking "Why he asked for testing" the bulb should have gone on when 1000 reasons to not take it started...
Ask "Why won't he do it" And when answering, speak for yourself. Don't parrot what you've heard Arum, Roach, Manny or any of that... Use your own mind and make good sense of it...
And that's not to say he's dirty, but damn!!! 30/40/50 mill and he walked away because of a drug test?
Went and fought Clottey for less than half?
Declined 14 days, now that the bar is at 0 days he says 7?
Question why he declined 14, and for the same reasons why he declined 14 days, he's now good with 7? When things don't fit, stop forcing it... It don't freakin fit!
Full Random Testing, not cause he's dirty, but he sure makes you wonder now
your wasting your time, that kind of logic and rationale is foreign on these boards.
what about the Africans use that money to feed a few people.
as an African i was thinking the same thing. It wont happen though especially in Arab countries where "leaders" are only a protest away from being kicked out.
First Samuel Peter fight???
I was thinking of that when i was typing, but Peter never really landed a solid punch...those were behind the head knockdowns.
what did Pac rehydrate to on the day of the fight with Mosley? And what did Marquez rehydrate to on his last fight?
i think that will give us better clarity....i like this fight though!
Damn Floyd's so good that people look for a couple of punches his entire career to say he doesnt like southpaws.
the man beat all four of them and Ortiz will be the fifth. Floyd has no problem with southpaws.
Wlad is not top 5 p4p anything...the man can't even through an upper cut, right hook or any punch to the body.
But he did beat Haye so congrats to him.
