most of those guys would just be too small to compete... i mean come on what would jack johnson do against modern hws? even cws and lhws...
it would be cool to see a prime healthy vitali around
Yeah.
Prime Vitali and prime Lewis basically own everyone. Anyone without bias know this.
Late Wlad who's not declining would also.. he has a dirty style, but it's really effective regardless.
1. Nikolai Valuev (looks like bigfoot ffs)
2. Vitali Klitschko (looks like he came from a siberian prison)
3. Mike Tyson (he'll eat your children and bite your ear off :lol1: )
4. Lennox Lewis (his stare down though)
5. Deontay Wilder (I'd hate to make him angry, he's like 6'7 with skull crushing power)
6. Sergey Kovalev (he'll beat you to death in front of your family without a single fuck given)
7. Gennady Golovkin (he's no smiley happy faced good guy, watch some of his russian interviews translated.. a fucking chameleon, mysterious psychopath )
8. Adonis Stevenson (He'll shoot me probably)
9. Luis Ortiz (the old man really does look like King Kong.. just to top it off, roided to the gills)
10. Tyson Fury (He can literally kill me from simply sitting on me)
if kovalev wins i'll be the first to admit that he is the better fighter , but it just ain't happening. he's there to be hit and clevs style of fighting is a nightmare , we will see if kovalev can go a full paced hard 12 rounds as we know nathan can and we will also see if clevs chin is "overrated"
:lol1: :lol1:
What a gem
His resume is overrated, but the guy himself deserves a lot of the praise he gets because of the talents he's shown. That's what makes the Ward fight so great, it's finally a chance to see Kovalev fight an elite fighter in his prime. A chance for him to prove just how great he his (or isn't).
And if Kovalev beats Ward what will you say?
3 years later..still has fought no one.
Go away Jamal
It's okay that GGG is getting recognition from actually knocking his opponents out instead of going 12 running/holding.
I thought Povetkin won and he is 40 years old. Hunter is a fat cruiserweight and had rolls of fat on his stomach. He is 31 and not likely to get better. Hunter has just an average chin and power. He is not that bad but not that good. I think Hunter will be about a number 15 or 20 world rated heavyweight winning some fights but losing to the top 6 or 7 best heavyweights every time.
Povetkin is just so. . . awesome!
I love his quiet humble character. The man is super dangerous in the ring too.
I have no doubts that if this was a 15 round fight, Hunter would get blasted within 14. Shame, Sasha nearly had him in the 12th. Hunter's legs were shaking.
To be fair, Fury isn't all that great looking physically either
Neither was an ATG Fedor Emlianenko..
I will however agree that Ruiz coming in even HEAVIER is a red flag. But I wouldn't write off him just because he's overweight. He did his job verse Joshua so
I think he will, but I don't think he's the #1 and would actually love to see Ruiz finish him again because I think AJ is mentally weak and has a soft chin.
Let's face it though, AJ has every physical advantage so as long as he doesn't shyt the bed, this shouldn't be all that hard.
:haha:
Yeah, depending on if and how he beats Ruiz... I see Joshua potentially being a threat to Wilder.
It's hilarious actually, Wilder > Fury, Fury > Joshua, and I see Wilder/Joshua going both ways.
I fear for AJ.
Wilder's right hand is almost always going to connect eventually in a 12 round fight. I fear even one semi-solid shot on AJ and he'll do the shaky leg.
Wilder's right is like a seeking missile, followed by his blood smelling shark-like hunger... a recipe for a sad ending for AJ. Once AJ stumbles, Wilder flies in there like a rabid dog
Of the two I only fancy Wilder beating AJ, Wilder could beat any man who ever boxed as his big shot is a game changer.
I keep saying this, I’ve seen Fury all the way through his career and he isn’t what he is made out to be, he is big and awkward.
I completely agree. All he has on him is a big mouth.
I expect Wilder to put him down in the rematch
Lotsa mfers could beat him. He's highly beatable.
Who will? Probably a mfer who touches him before he touches them. The ask of being perfect for 36 minutes is a big one that Tyson Fury couldn't even do. So I think you need to take it to his ass and risk being a highlight reel KO loss guy to become the highlight reel KO win guy.
Anyone could beat anyone honestly, at least in heavyweight.
I fully agree with your second statement.
Imagine if Ruiz beats Joshua and Wilder then loses to Parker again :haha: or even Fury
Fair result in general. I think i had Hunter one round up, but he looked weak after a couple of rounds. I thought Pov hurt him in the end but didn't have the youth to spot it and finish him.
Think Povetkin should consider hanging them up before getting hurt again.
Ortiz vs Povetkin before either of them hang it up
I had Povetkin winning a close bout, he started really slow. If you rewatch the fight Povetkin had Hunter stumbling in the 12th but somehow didn't finish it. If it were a 15 round fight it'd be KO victory for Sasha
Bad angle.
He certainly lost some weight but it's not gonna impact him as much as many think.
Let's just see if his cardio improves and what's his game plan verse the man who knocked him out
Did you ate your words the first time?
To be completely honest with you I was away from boxing during their first fight. Was busy in life, cameback recently and saw the upset. Probably would of expected Joshua to remove him, as he almost did. Ruiz was put down first.
I expect Joshua to play it careful this time around and avoid exchanging.
Your face is one of the first places you start to lose weight. People told me I looked gaunt when I went from around 200 to 178 but I never felt better in my life.
This is true. I used to bodybuild (not competitively) but when I'd fluctuate it was really obvious on my face.
If AJ allows Ruiz to walk him down like in the first fight, he will have to go through hell to win the fight.
If AJ stands his ground and presses Ruiz behind the jab, he'll dominate (conspiracy theories will abound). Come forward fighters like Ruiz perfrom completely different when the tables are turned.
AJ has been giving ground for the past 2 fights in trying to be his version of a slick boxer (lead hand down, up jab, counterpunching on the back foot, backward-lateral movement). He has to get back to embracing his strengths. If he doesn't, he's in for a rough fight.
This will be a big challenge for AJ, let's see how he does
Because Ruiz is able to get inside and force the fight. I do give AJ a chance, though. I'm quite sure he will fight more conservatively and attempt to box from the outside. This may keep him in the fight.
But I think AJ is a head case, and I think Ruiz will indeed crawl up his bum and smack him down again.
I hope AJ has a good guard plan on fight night. I know Ruiz will give it his ALL to just sneak one solid hit on AJ
I'm a fan now :boxing: of Joshua
But I agree, I think Wilder blasts him with the first right. It doesn't even have to be 100% either, 70% right from Wilder will make Joshua collapse and just about anyone.
Andy Ruiz GAVE AWAY this fight months ago... in training (not training).
Ruiz could KO Joshua again... it was his crap preparation that cost him.
Nah. He was the first one who got knocked down. Anyone could overlook someone who is overweight like him. AJ will never make that mistake again.
Sorry :bottle::crying: Joshua wins a trilogy as well.
:booty:
Title says it all. I just don't see it.
I'll definitely eat my words if Ruiz wins.. but something tells me AJ KO's Ruiz late or wins UD
AJ is coming in the rematch more cautious and not nearly as aggressive. He just has to be more reserved with his power punches unlike last time when he got tagged.
Let's not forget Ruiz was the first one to get knocked down too...
:cool: :bottle::bottle::boxing:
