Pick your HW Champion to Bring Back the HW Division...

IMO Wilder is already bringing some excitement to the HW division. Has power, speed and enough vulnerability to make things exciting.

Iron Mike of course. Hit the streets and ask some random person what they remember about old school Heavyweight boxing. Their answer - Mike Tyson. Ask them about Heavyweight boxing today and their like, ughh I don't know.

Tyson 86-88, he KO's Wilder, Joshua and Fury in a round. None of those fighters would be "champs" in Tyson's era, no doubt about it.

bring back the super heavy weight class and you will help the issue a lot. Who wants to see a 7 foot 300 plus man fight a 6'2 220 lns HW? I do. Considering Vitali lost to Byrd, Wlad lost to fighters smaller than him in Brewster as well as Sanders...and Valuev is no longer undefeated, I would say your case is mute. People love supporting the “little guy.” Dempsey used to beat the crap out of big lumbering Tall Heavyweights that outweighed him by a ton. Tyson tended to be smaller than his opponent, particularly in height. Holyfield was smaller than Bowe and boy did that make for a great fight.

I suppose if Wlad bites off Rahman's ear and then goes out and rapes a woman, like Tyson did, the media will pay more attention to him, and he and his division will become popular. Tyson was HUGE around the World in his early 20's. He was even big in America before he won the title. He was actually loved and supported by many. He did commercials and represented companies. He was kind of messed up around the Spinks fight which he even pointed out.

I was never that big a fan of Tyson, but he was a fantastic fighter and very exciting. He had the tools to dominate this horrible heavyweight era. He would give the recognition back as well.

Are you kidding me? Ali is a no brainer here! PS. It takes more than one fighter to bring a division back. Having a great fighter at the top is fine but you need talent below that too.
