The most feared man in boxing is Luis Pabon. Fighters know that when they see Luis Pabon in the the ring they are about to get Pa-Boned. How are you supposed to concentrate while you got this ref prancing about the ring saying 'I am here, stop fighting, I am here' ? I think Pabon has a hidden agenda, I think he likes seeing two grown men hug each other, that's why he allows so much hugging.

Tyson, foreman, Liston are the big 3 for the fear factor. Agree. Golovkin is avoided, but he's nowhere near as feared as those 3. I say tyson and foreman Yes, that would be my answer too. I remember the Frazier destruction so well, Foreman all of a sudden became the most feared man in all sports and of course Tysons original run as champion, the electricity and fear he created was something I've never experienced before. I remember being in the same press rooms and stadiums as Tyson and no one was sure what he would do next, many journalists were afraid he might turn on them. On a personal note, Mike was always cordial with me, although there were a couple times he asked me not to ask him certain questions and when I pushed I got the Tyson stare. Suffice to say, I didn't press him any more.

What happened I thought Paul Williams was the most feared man in history or was it mattaysse or how ever it's spelled Williams was the most feared fighter in boxing history in 2009. Matthysse was the most feared fighter in boxing history last year, this is year it's Golovkin.
