It shouldn't be a shock to anyone if (or should I say when) HBO drops boxing from their network. They are making absolutely zero profits from their boxing shows. Especially now since Haymon's PBC is in full swing. The executives are probably debating right now when they should go through with the cancellation.
The thing is, HBO is a movie and TV show channel. They just aren't suited for sports. Look at their hit show, Game of Thrones. It's such a popular show and damn near everyone watches it. They make tons and tons of profit from it's popularity alone. But what about boxing? What do they get from that? Zero, squat, nada.
My only hope is that PBC opens its door to 3 guys in particular from HBO, them being Roy Jones, Hopkins and Max Kellerman. 3 superb commentators who don't deserve to lose their jobs because HBO can't seem to produce profits any longer. It's not their fault that HBO refuses to make good fights anymore.
You are right. Not only HBO but other channels also have same interests of getting profit from anywhere they get. This is a part of today media. Just see HBO how they promote MMA because they are getting profit from different regions. So this profit is the all game at the end.

Because mostly people analysed through emotions and not on fighters skills. So the peoples who understand boxing like you guys talks about fighting skills of a fighter, circumstances and many other aspects. But a man like me when see that a fighter loose which is my favorite, i will raise finger on that fighter.
Hard Punch can work
haye for all his failings as a person, was(maybe still is) a great boxer. Unfortunatly he is just too small to cope with todays top heavies. But he is always in with a shot with a big punch and ring smarts
Yes hard punch can work for Haye, as Joshua had little bit lack of experience in tackling hard punches which i analyze.....
Street Fights
In street fights wrestling factor is important because there is no hard limitation in street fight like in boxing ring. So your opponent can use wrestling option well
Joshua will brutalise chisora.....it would be quite scary to watch.. A guy who's only way of fighting is going forward....who is durable but lacks power but also has zero defence.....no more than 3 rounds and it will end with a scary knock out...
In this case as you mention, then i,m afraid that Chisora will have worse condition then Dillian Whyte.
Maybe, but don't you think it's a little late for that? Realistically how long would it take him to find and gel with a trainer? I'd say at least six months to a year...unless his brother decides to train him.
Yes i agree, it will take time for training!
Middle Weight to Heavy Weight
Yes his performance get worse as he is nothing for Middle Weight to Heavy Weight! He is struggling in his own category still despite of going further...:buttkick:
Who cares of these 3 I want to see him fight Wilder
I also love to watch that Wilder smash these two guys right away;Fury & Joshua. Because audience want something more exciting if Wilder give a tough time to both of them in near future...
Might be some drama or thrill happens in drugs testing for both of them. That,s why they hadn’t announce officially till. That,s all media attraction from my point of view.
