in our time? hell yeah! it is the biggest fight ever....
i hope it happens....
i wont get excited this time unless the contract is signed by both camps.:boxing:
as i was saying, the kid got potentials and works hard... i wont be surprised if he'll make it to the top... the kid is really improving. amazingly improved speed :boxing:
Manny is too small for Martinez, but Floyd fights in the same weight class and is almost the same size as Pac.
its because.....
martinez is ducking pac!
joke...
congrats! martinez... that was a brutal punch right on the button...
long read, it took me 5 days to read..j/k
green k... nice thread bro..
posters are sensible in sharing their thoughts:boxing::boxing:
i'll just read and learn...lol
horrible resume, are you kidding?
he got no choice but to fight these bums to stay active, because nobody on the top level wants to fight him.
watch his fights against these bums, how he demolished them...:boxing:
Yohnny Perez, Abner Mares and Anselmo Moreno.....sorry but that is such a weak excuse by team Donaire (top guys being scared of him).
yeah, maybe you're right it's a weak excuse. it's arum's fault, or maybe it's arum's plan not to expose nonito in tough fights for the moment because arum knows nonito's skills. he will be his next milking cow when manny retires.
i totally agree with you, it is a total waste of talent for nonito on his prime. i really hope that he could fight a very competitive opponent to prove to his critics what he is made of.
if tony will just walk thru manny's punches, then maybe tony is armored with plaster..j/k..:D:D
seriously, manny will soften tony with body shots on the early rounds and go for the kill on the second half of the fight. tony should use his reach advantage with double jabs to keep manny away from landing his punches but 'am not really sure if tony could cope up with manny's footspeed to land his best shots. anything can happen on this fight but looking on their individual resume, manny got better stocks, but tony is a lot bigger, that can be an advantage if he knows how to use it.
technically, whoever got an effective fight strategy should win. but still, good conditioning is a huge advantage.
both fighters promised an exciting fight...let's just enjoy it..:boxing:
hahaha ur right. floyd should clarify his planning a long break first.
or else, this analysis should be in the fantasy fight section.
everytime i log in BS, 'am hoping that there's a good news that floyd already accepted to fight manny, but until now, not even a tiny indication that he's interested to fight manny considering that the midget accepted his terms for ost. hopefully, floyd is just enjoying his break for the moment and will come out soon to announce that he will fight manny this year, not after 2 years.:boxing:
This is all I want to hear. The rest is just this moron blabbing, damn illiterate.
cosign... :boxing:
at least, a tiny indication that floyd's camp is considering a fight with manny.
wait a minute! this could be an excuse not to fight manny if floyd got nothing to gain (reward)...
manny need to put the FOTD title on the line:omfg: to make this fight happen..lol
if pac is the easiest fight for floyd, how come that floyd is having difficulty deciding if he should fight pac?
floyd got the advantages:
he's bigger
slick and skillful boxer
undefeated
pac's only advantage is, he got a bigger "balls"...
boxing fans demanded manny to take damn test to prove that he's clean...
he did agree with floyd's ost 14 days cut-off demand...NOW WHAT?
'am beginning to think that the fight wont gonna happen..:crying:
let' just discuss this in the "fantasy fight forum" LOL!
All you guys caring about what the split should be are retarded. I swear some of you guys who argue about what fighter deserve the bigger split have to be females.
I don't see how a grown ass man should be worrying and debating about this shit. I don't care what the split is as long as it get the fight done.
Who gives a shit!? Just make the damn fight!!
:boxing:totally agree, i don't care how they negotiate and agree on terms as long as the fight gets made:boxing:
LMAO, Keep tryin'..
Below is an excerpt from a Dan Rafael article after your idol couldn't hold his end of the bargain, typical..
But after Friday's weigh-in, Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer finally addressed the issue, telling ESPN.com, "The fight was contracted as a welterweight fight with an agreed upon weight of 144 pounds. However, there were pre-negotiated weight penalties built in."
Schaefer would not disclose the dollar figure, but another source with direct knowledge of the contract told ESPN.com that the penalty was $300,000 per pound if either fighter was overweight.
According to the source, the Marquez camp knew Wednesday night that Mayweather would not make weight because Mayweather's team made overtures to Golden Boy Promotions in an effort to have Marquez agree to change weight on the bout agreements to be filed with the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
However, Marquez's contract had already been filed reading 144 pounds, according to commission executive director Keith Kizer. But Kizer said the bout agreement was retrieved from the commission by Golden Boy Promotions and changed to 147 with Marquez initialing it.
Mayweather's contract with 147 pounds was not filed with the commission until minutes before the weigh-in. Kizer said it was supposed to be filed on Wednesday.
Kizer said the Mayweather camp asked to file it Thursday and he said OK, but that deadline also came and went.
"We were very unhappy with the lateness of Mr. Mayweather's contract," Kizer said.
Kizer said that had the bout agreements not been changed to 147, Mayweather would have faced a fine from the commission in addition to whatever penalty he had agreed to pay Marquez. For being two pounds overweight, Kizer said the penalty would have been 10 percent of his purse, or $1 million. Had he been three pounds over (147 pounds), the figure would have jumped to a 20 percent fine.

How's Howard U. these days ?
very good answer!!!:fing02:
I sure as hell don't believe it. Even in the Michigan papers that's the same sentiments. They all believe Arum is full of shit.
And Pac still hasnt signed the contract. I believe Team Mayweather has no idea what the hell Arum is talking about.
Arum is just leaking all these shit articles to websites so when Pac ens up fighting Cotto or Marg, Arum can turn around and say " see look Mayweather turned down the fight".
Poll to come.
hmmm..i don't think the press/media will allow arum to use them for this circus. secondly, floyd will not allow this black propaganda to destroy his reputation...little common sense, please..
greatness is being measured by accomplishments, so i guess pac's greatness is far ahead compared to JMM. only haters don't see it that way..
although imo, JMM is also a candidate to be a hall of famer..
we'll see, speed vs size....who will prevail?
both fighters got good stamina and good chin...good work rate...loves to brawl...willing to go toe-to-toe..it'll gonna be an exciting fight...
Clottey was hurt. the reason why he wouldnt want to trade punches with Manny. If Clottey let go of his hands he was more likely to go down in a later rounds. STUPID posters saying Clottey would have knocked out Manny if he throw more punches. thats a pure HATER! you cannot let go of your hands when fighting Manny.
i got the same observations, bro. pac allowed joshua to hit him to gain confidence and open up to throw more punches, but joshua elected to stay in his shell because he knows the situation. he accepted that manny is too quick and he could'nt set up any offense. josh just decided to be in defensive mode to survive until the 12th round. joshua is a very good counter puncher, but it looks he could'nt get his rhythmn because of manny's movements.
what i heard was....manny reduced the assault during the last 3 rounds because he does'nt want to inflict more damages, he could have KO tony on the 10th. he was even looking at the ref to stop the fight. but it looks like the ref wanted tony to absorb more punishment. "boxing is not for killing" according to manny...
who would wanna buy a ppv on a one sided boxing match @ 6-1 betting odd? hbo is trying to convince the boxing fans that the fight will be even, since manny is not training properly with the distractions in his training camp.
24/7 is a marketing strategy...:boxing:
Look at his Shoulder. WTF IS THAT?!???

wow! you nailed it, troll..that evidence is perfect!!
by the way, what stuff are you smokin', can i have some?
facts about urine/blood test for other substance
No doubt Pacquaio, but Pacquaio wont take the tests, simple and plain, no fight. Better question is why would a man turn down 40 million over a simple drug test, guilty.
'can't blame you with your opinion, bro. manny did not turn down the 40M fight because of simple drug test, in fact, he was willing to have unlimited drug test by urine samples. he does'nt like blood sample because it weakens him (idk why?).
for everybody's information, urine or blood samples are just the same body fluid that you can detect any substance (PED, drugs, roids, etc..) present on it by using the correct reagent depending on the substance you want to detect. you may ask a chemist what are these reagents for, or try to google it.
in other words, what ever substance you want to detect from the blood can also be detected from the urine using an specific reagent.
