If clottey would have opened up and thrown as much andbeen as accurate you think pac wouldamade it to point where he could make clottey quit or KO?
what would happen first if they traded for a few arounds, would pac have landed enough to make clottey quit or would clottey have landed enough to have hurt pac?
Who has a better chin if they go toe to toe
you guys are stupid the reason clottey couldnt throw because he had the runs. nobody in this world could box and the as the same time preventing sh1t to come out. just no way :haha:
Clottey was hurt. the reason why he wouldnt want to trade punches with Manny. If Clottey let go of his hands he was more likely to go down in a later rounds. STUPID posters saying Clottey would have knocked out Manny if he throw more punches. thats a pure HATER! you cannot let go of your hands when fighting Manny.
i got the same observations, bro. pac allowed joshua to hit him to gain confidence and open up to throw more punches, but joshua elected to stay in his shell because he knows the situation. he accepted that manny is too quick and he could'nt set up any offense. josh just decided to be in defensive mode to survive until the 12th round. joshua is a very good counter puncher, but it looks he could'nt get his rhythmn because of manny's movements.
False.

108/399 .. 27% of his punches hit pacquiao..
108 punches did that to Manny's face, actually check that less since those all couldn't have been head punches.
Not a good sign against better bigger fighters~
When Clottey wasn't covering up, he was throwing, and everything he threw, hit Pacquiao.

If Clottey didn't cover up too much and traded punch like the Cotto fight,
Would Pacquiao be able to knock him out?:boxing:
i don't know, but what i do know is, if clottey didn't cover up and let his hands go, it would've looked like an actual fight instead of a uncompetitive sparring session, or even better a heavy bag work out.
Clottey threw 15 punches and had Manny looking like he fell down an elevator shaft...lol
Imigine if he let his hands go.
if he let his hands go, Clottey will be like he fell down from an elevator shaft:lol1:
To me that is how Clottey fights, he is either on offence or defense if you force him on the defensive he has a very hard time getting off.
He caught a huge break in teh Cotto fight beacuase that nasty gash caused Cotto to allowed him to get off, once Cotto worked through that Clottey didn't do shit.
Manny forced him on the defensive and Manny threw a ton of punches latter in thefight Manny's activity dropped so Clottey could do more.
If Clottey fought differently he would lose worse because that is not him.

clottey barley threw and busted manny up..if he opened up i think he was strong enough to stop manny(but)he wasnt fast enough and i dont think he wouldve gotten stopped but may have quit..clottey lost before he even stepped in the ring
If Clottey decided to pump the jab, that fight would have looked like Winky-Tito!!

He was afraid of the reputation of Pac, same reason (know this aint to do with floyd) but I would say nobody at 147 would have defeated pac after the Cotto fight, everyone was shocked at what happened
Thus clottey came in just to survive, if he opened up, pac would have connected all his shots to his face as Clottey barely has any head movement
Clottey was never hurt by Pac he ended up looking better than pac he fought more like somebody who’s holding back than somebody who’s afraid of getting knocked out.
What would be the reason to hold back then if you're not getting hurt?

If CLottey didn't cover up and traded like he did (and was effective too) then Pac would've gotten knocked out. I know I am the minority to think so, but I can clearly see the result of clottey's sparse work when he "didn't cover up" or in my view "opened up". No disrespect to Pac fans...just an observation from a boxing fan.
