'nough wid da crap
Face it peeps, whether the score was biased or who should have won. History will still go down with Pac as the winner.
In the fight it is clear that Pac did not win (convincingly) and JMM did not win (convincingly too)... It all went down to who was being challenged. As the challenger... JMM should have done more than backpedaled most ways.
To beat that realization to the judges, he should convince them that he deserve the win... yet he did not. Standing toe to toe against someone like Pac who (we must admit) is at the top podium can only get you a draw or worse like this - a loss.
If this was a street brawl, we can say both men can end up 10 times ugly than what they supposed to be now... but hey, that is why there's the org called a "boxing committee" - however crappy... decides the outcome of the fight... not the court-side fans or the one slouching on the couch having beer and munching on crap.... beat that in ya head....:nnnnbat:
LOL.... i was just closing my day by browsing round BS.... this one takes the cake.... LOLOLOL
a decade my ass..... that's the new Wiki people....:slap:

haha you mean good month for Mexican Boxing fans. Mexico wins all of these.
VIVA MEXICO BOXEO!!!!!!
Look man.... just to sum up, its a good month for Filipino and Mexican Boxing fans period. You're on the Pnoy lounge so its an obvious dig, but 'm not dissin, just lovin eh...
this will easily surpass 2.4 mill, it would be huge, even people who don't watch boxing want to watch this because its a huge sporting event not just a boxing event.
I think even with the proliferation of vid streams this fight will hit more than 2.4M. Streams are not reliable and many people wont want to miss this fight by watching streams.
Probably so... but its just my take.... honestly, i watched the Pac-Mosley & Khan-Maidana fights on live internet streams and not with PPV. Reason to be had is just simple.... cost me less than the PPV fee. A lot of us did that during the last two years mostly though due to work schedules hassles up the time to sit back on your couch at home watching with a lime or a booze on the right hand.
I for one for the record would love to see the *pings* light up in the PPV ratings with this fight. Its a milestone in boxing history worth the pay in live TV.
Plain Old dumb ranking methods if you ask me. I guess they just drew sticks and log the numbers on who becomes this on what rank....
Reminds me to have college grad levels do the rankings instead of bums who has connections in the boxing arena to do the math.
Pathetic...
It will surpass may delahoya.... At the time may de la hoya was huge, but this.... This is just different... Because de la hoya was a name, but wasnt considered the best fighter in the world... Not only do mayweather and pacquiao have their brand names, they are also both equally the best fighters in the world, around the same age, in the same weight class..
Its different, its bigger... Way bigger.
This is the fight that even the entire MMA world will buy.
this will easily surpass 2.4 mill, it would be huge, even people who don't watch boxing want to watch this because its a huge sporting event not just a boxing event.
I dunno brothers, but with todays unrestricted video steams in the internet, and the prolific bootleg live TV access (also thru the internet)... its hard to sum up the math.
2007 was when that 2.4 hits happen, now times have radically changed... the internet being mostly to blame. If it did hit the numbers... its a hoorah for the boxing world. If it aint...well go blame the internet...
there has already been a thread that discussed this here in BS just a month ago i think. I forgot what its called though.... try searching it on the archives.
saw both three fights between them:boxing:.... that first one is unarguably one for the books... pac lost... he got outboxed even if he scored two downs... regardless where the cut came from.... the fight is well worth to watch a second time... generation fighters at a go... this is how boxing is fight.... inside the quad, not outside of it with ya mouth....:boxing:
in the world of professional and amateur boxing, the USA is probably the most successful country. Cuba comes in a close second in the amateur field with Mexico in the contestable 2nd in professional field from the Junior Welterweight down, and Europe-combine from the Welterweight up.
If statistics is to be followed that will answer the question, if history is asked based on content, Britain has the richest in this history, even if it was in Greece that boxing as a sport came to be.
try wiki if this doesn't suit your reasoning

this is one lame thread..... pucker up man! Why is it that when a Filipino fighter makes a headline with a punch that literally shook the stands...it becomes an issue of PEDs and illegal sh*t? Does you people has so much inferiority complex in u to feel others should not have the "right" to be a dominant fighter that can down fighters like montiel?.... seriously.... the game has changed and Filipino fighters are making a dent in an otherwise used to be non asian dominated sport?
FLOMOS are a step down the rest ... really.... I used to think otherwise but this thread plainly shows where the fanbase really sits..... next time PROVE that your boy is the better man, then we'll see if your excuses do make you a man....
Gay thead.....
This thread is rollicking..:lol1:.. i'm lolling with laughter here.... you're all way too funny when you're serious....
They wouldn't hurt me,I got some old green curtains in the basement I could give them to make some more of those killer-scary "shorts" they're wearing.
send it..... i'll commission my tailor a skirt just for you... a plaid one they call it... lol
On Topic.... I know FM is a fashion follower, but like the Oscars, some fashions "bomb".... this is one of it.... don't care if he carries $$$ dough or a Baretta 92 or a Desert eagle in that bag.... just off with it.... much better replace it with a manly Berghaus Jalan, Northface, Lowe Alpine or a fashionable GAP backpack.... or an NCStar tactical Backpack if you want real attention.
He's only 18 months older than 'prime' Pacquiao and shows no signs of decline.
I think he's settled for what he's done so far and wants to avoid anything risky. The zero has become everything.
I dont Think Floyyd is done in terms of capacity... He is still a good boxer in my list... one of the best in his weight class....its his mental stature... all the mind games he has done has finally caught up to him, he's so used to the leverage he gets on post fight to "condition" the atmosphere in the ring in his favor.... unfortunately.... he's not getting that with Pac who is an unorthodox fighter both in and out of the ring.
The glaring link here is as Bert Sugar profoundly sums up.... the "0" thing. Hes not fighting PAc, hes fighting a record and a place in the books..." its a he against Sugar Ray...."(0:42).
Hes not afraid of PAC.... its a legacy he worked hard to build that he dont want to crash.... well i guess that includes the supposed friends and the sponsorship money goin byebye IF he loose.... that sums it up... its just the worshiping fans on both sides that makes the issue a quagmire PACTARDS and FLOMOS alike....
heres the experts take....
.
.
hoooohummmmm......lets stop the pretense here ok people.... its PAC.... albeit it is true when FMs camp used the PEDS issue, they managed to hook a ride with all that is pacworthy attention being shown on the media... talk about grabbing some attention. :D
But I'm not here to b*tch... It is true that Pac has managed to transcend the boxing world into the mainstream (POP if you can say it).... just like Michael Jordan was able to do to Basketball.... when you ask who is THE FACE... well we're talkin about him right now, but if you are askin who are THE FACES of Boxing..... there ya go.... PAC, FM, DON, KHAN et all.... if ya aint 'ceptin this yet.... your on the wrong sport.... go play curling or something....
Basically its all in the style.... FM is an out-boxer.... a "sniper" a tactical / cerebral player... in the lines of Sugar Ray (Loenard), Roy Jones and Ali. The Pacman is a "puncher"-boxer (not to be confused by a "brawler" like Foreman & Tyson) - much like Sugar Ray Robinson, JC Chavez and Hearns - who wear their opponents down using combinations and then move in to score the knockout. Both however must be well rounded to be effective using this style. From here, it is best to say that FMs resistivity to a deludge of heavy punches - even if covered/blocked, will be the real test. Although he has shown some resistance to "punchers" like JMM he has yet to meet the kind of weighted punch Pac can deliver and in most particular, Pacs unorthodoxed punching and stance methods (which is not a typical blu-print boxing form) that is considered to be the moving factor in his arsenal.
We all know both can withstand 12 gruelling rounds, its a matter of precision and punch weight that is to consider. in this point... pacs numbers is a definite show.
I defined this for a fact that i consider to believe FM like Pac has no serious weakness - flaws maybe but never a weakness - that can only be seen when one compares each others strength, and numbers dont lie...
I would be mad too if Pacquiao did this to me:
and the "beiber -do!", who else can get away with a fashion like that.... hilarious.... let G.boy try that....
i hear a lot of talk about nonito possibly eclipsing pac in terms of achievement in the forseeable future.
this is highly debatable.
what isn't debatable is the fact that nonito seems to be(at least for now) garnering universal acclaim among an overwhelming majority of posters on this site, including flomos and known pac/pinoy bashers alike.
i always believed that the pac hate was generally directed towards the pactards and if they weren't as fanatic as they've exhibited on this site, there would have been a lot less pac bashing which may have resulted in a more tolerable nsb.
in the absence of obvious nonito fanboyism(so far), i believe ppl are being very objective and actually accepting of the fact that they are witness to a great fighter.
ppl, and i mean everyone not named xcaret and m.i.c., openly proclaim nonito as a great fighter and there was even a thread about ppl wanting to claim him as their own.
so my question is, is the unwillingness to accept pac as a great fighter a direct result of pactardation?
c'mon pac/pinoy haters give us your 2 cents.
FINALLY!!! some sensible post that gathers all what this b*ll_sh*ting is all bout. You can hate pac coz of the wayward fans... but agreeing whit what is said bein a great fighter is another thing.... just like this guy
Im a pinoy fan hater.
I don't like how everyone is proclaiming him to be the best all of a sudden. People in another thread saying he's better then RJJ. **** is sickening. I like Donaire, but you Pinoy fans sure make it hard to stay that way. Only reason I don't like pac is the fans.
We dont care if you do or you dont.... but remember where the hate came from? its the mudslinging that came from haters that say theres no such thing as a good guy in boxing.... and they hate it when they are proven wrong.
MMA per se is just budding up in the mainstream. Mixed Martial arts has been around decades before under no particular commercial banner, most particular in Japan and in Brazil. MMA wont be gone.... maybe ur refering to the latest outage in the UFC. Thats just one brand, you still have Strikeforce to contend with and if you feel like it, go find some streams that cater to japanese MMA...
MMA is here to stick, it wont die down as figuratively like the TS says....but i do agree that boxing need to step up and try to invite the younger gen to watch the fights.....not just to make lumps of profit by bringing on fights and building on the hype that is not healthy to the general publics consumption (go dig what are those if you aint knowing yet).... we need to see fights that thrills is noteworthy of a backroom discussion even in college dorms.... how to do that? go figure it out for ourselves, Boxing media has brains in it to overkill a hype, why not use that to build up sensible fights ryt?
bejeezus!! seriously tho.... do the Mayweather/GBP camp have people in them that has even finished Highschool? basic math and they already see figures even a tax laundering fraud will be dumbfounded by even just thinking of it.
According to my calculations..

ooohhhh....so that means if x is up t y, then the sum of the a to b will come up to be z, then that means rogers as$ is too swollen already for being rammed up by his own head.... pretty impressive calculations my man.... your the next einstein..LOLOLOLOL
