Gesta vs Genaro Trazancos
Feb. 19
Donaire vs Montiel
Melligen vs Martinez
Feb. 25
Ana Julaton vs Franchesca Alcanter
Hopefully it will be a sweep for the Filipinos, 2010 is not a good year for the Filipino Boxers. Hopefully, this will be their year.
Gesta is becoming the new Donaire, avoided like the plague.
Believe it or not, things will get better for No Mercy, just a matter of time.Sorry pre but I'm not sold on this gesta thingy yet, I think brandon rios whoop his ass. Would be glad to be proven wrong though.
why not just a great month for boxing fans in general??
Well you can say that; I'm not sure though with the Mexicans.
Basically that is the title because the boxers fighting in the list are Filipinos.

Well its a sweep for the Philippines this month, Julaton owned Alcanter great hand speed.
It will be good to see Diale getting our 5th world title though. But I doubt he can do it but hopefully he will...
haha you mean good month for Mexican Boxing fans. Mexico wins all of these.
VIVA MEXICO BOXEO!!!!!!
Excuse me, looks like the opposite happened...
Gesta beats Genaro Trazancos
Donaire beats Montiel
Melligen beats Martinez
all got OWNED, indeed a good month for Filipino boxing fans... okay fine, also with the Mexicans... thanks to you...
That is just a marketing strategy.
The fact of the matter is Gesta has yet to step up to B class opponents. His rematch fight against a journeyman he already beat will not earn him a title shot.
Hector Velasquez is just another journeyman.
Mercito Gesta can earn a title shot by fighting Henry Lundy, Anthony Peterson, Carlos Molina, or Jose A. Gonzalez.
I see, anyway he is just 23 years old I think... so he can take his time, no need to rush things...
I did not said that... its his promoter I'm just quoting him. I think their first choice was Hector Velasquez but he backed out.

jose benavidez is someone who you should look out for.
Yeah I know Benavidez, he is something to look out for. And he is American btw I don't consider him a Mexican just like Frankie Gomez. I was looking for native Mexicans. I watch Box Azteca and I see all these talents coming from Mexico but when I look them up on boxrec they're not there.
Lol. You know any unknown Mexican prospects that I'm missing out on man? I was very upset with Juan Carlos Burgos. I really thought that kid was the real deal, I hope he can bounce back.
raul hirales jr
wilbert uicab
oscar ibarra
yeah ill bump this thread up when they fight someone worth mentioning... they will have losses...
i thought you might be interested with some of our HOFers
so have you already heard of pinoy HOFers Ronnie Magsanoc & Benjie Paras?

Melindo might not have power, but with skills like that he'll be very hard to beat. I think he is the best 'technician' among the filipino fighters right now. He can fight inside, unlike Pacquiao and Donaire, and outside. Thanks for the video.
He looks good here... gotto check on some more of this guys fights
He is only 18 years old by the way. His record is not bad either... 25 wins and only 1 loss...
Thanks man. You wouldn't happen to have Milan Melindo's last fight wouldn't you? I heard from someone that he looked real good.
I think his last fight is against Tamara, Melindo is a technical fighter he is like Penalosa but he don't have much power... but still I think he is ready for a championship match. I found a video of it but its very long because it ended up in UD...
This is the latest fight of Jason Pagara, this might help you.
