Yeah his Mario Veit loss is also dissapointing I remember Calzaghe used to crush Veit.
Yeah but i blame his corner for this one too.
He dominated Veit early in the fight but run out of gas.
Klitschko vs Puritty comes ot my mind
yeah, but I thought froch did it better.
I think tim bradley is a better all around fighter... he even uses his head better than ward does
And that tells you what?
How much better did Andre Ward against Mikkel Kessler?
And don't tell me anything about headbutts that's bull**** in the first 8 rounds there where no headbutts at al and Kessler just got dominated.
Braehmer is very talented and very wel educated. He got a big big punch but he is undersized as a lhw he's more like a smw or even a mw he is a lazy bastard i think i never made weight in his career cause he's just to lazy. But he spent severel years in prison and somtimes he just loses focus in the ring and has terible brain cramps which result in
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNY5dahwxgA
I am a Braehmer skeptic but i am a Cleverly skeptic too.
Too hot to handle, at least for gamblers.
As a boxing fan i think Cleverly should win this by PTS but Brahemer has a very valid punchers chance in all 12 rounds.
Nope the De La Hoya we've seen in the meeting with Floyd wasn't that far past his prime and Floyd didn't use his legs in this fight cause he didn't have to. Also the fight was not a split decision it was not even close i scored it 116 112 maybe even 117 111 in favour of Floyd.
The only time De La Hoya could land some good punches in the final round when Floyd opened up.
Floyd would beat De La Hoya any time by relatively wide margin.
Floyd won pretty handily but that performance was quite unimpressive. I figured maybe he didn't want to ruin his chance at a rematch. IDK, I came away from that fight thinking that Floyd was slowing down.
unimpressive?
No offense but ask yourself what is more impressive.
Fight Oscar De La Hoya @145lbs (DLH's 1st fight under 150lbs since 7 years) using a stick and move strategy based on the lack of foot speed of De La Hoya which is just what Pac did.
Or fight Oscar De La Hoya @154lbs literally stand in front off him the entire night take away his jab break him down and finally beat him what Floyd Mayweather did.
C'mon a fighter that is so good that he doesn't have to use his legs to win a fight. Just my 2 cent but that's most impressive.
Green can't lose with this in his corner.....http://www.comicbookmovie.com/images/users/uploads/8558/Thor_hammer_frame.jpg
I guess he forgot it in his locker room agaisnt Miranda hou?
I had to laugh at that one...
You must have forgotten how mobile Oscar was and how solid his boxing was.
I would never say Floyd would get destroyed, that's silly. Floyd is a great fighter and would cause problems for anyone but I do think Oscar's size would cause him problems. His jab would be key, something he couldn't throw in their fight because of age and injury.
A prime Oscar would attempt to control the fight with the jab and then look to go low and come back high with the left hook.
Floyd was standing in front of Oscar the entire night but we all now that Floyd has fast feet that keep him going all night long if he wants to.
He didn't use his legs in that fight cause he could win it without using his legs (for me that's still most impressive)
DLH landed very little clean shots although Floyd was literally standing in front of DLH which should have made it easy for DLH to use and land his jab frequently.
So i think Floyd could've stepped up his game if needed.
No, if you break green down he is kinda of an one handed fighter with an average defense. Ward is a very well rounded fighter so besides punching power everythin Green does good Ward does just better.
I think Ward will win it by a wide margin or even by a late stoppage.
Yes he would Zab Judah brought his A-Game against Floyd and Floyd beat him he would've beaten the 2007 Mosley too. Corley almost floored Cotto after his fight against Mayweather.
He would've beaten Margarito (whether juiced gloves or not) and he would've outscored Clottey with ease although i consider this fight to be a snoozefest.
And it think he will win against Manny Pacquiao.
Who's left? Paulie? Oktay Urkal? c'mon...
Mayweather would've beaten Cotto onehanded Cotto is very courageous but he is overrated his right hand is underdevelpoped his defense and footwork both are averrage. Shut out win for Mayweather.
Lewis was coming off the biggest win of his career, the KO win over Tyson. In the Lewis/Tyson post fight interview Lewis stated "I'm like fine wine, I get better with age."
Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.
After and before the fight Vitali said that he was in the best shape of his hole career.
So if you believe what LL says you have to believe what VK says too.
Unless you think VK is a liar eh?
Since 2003, no one has been able to cut Vitali, bruise Vitali, consistently stagger him, or land as many flush shots as Lennox did in 6 rounds at the age of 37(292 days).
http://i47.tinypic.com/295e6xj.gif
Most onseers saw Vitali as a tomato can with a lot of heart who was sticking it to Lennox Lewis. No one could forsee that this tomato can would be the next dominant Heavyweight champion in boxing.
So how do you view Lennox now after seeing what Vitali has become?
Lennox defeated the best 31 year old, prime version of Vitali, while the fighters of today struggle against the slow faded Vitali, who has lost some power. Why cant anyone repeat what Lennox did? Is the division today that bad, or was Lennox that good?
http://i50.tinypic.com/15g4742.gif
^^^Here Vitali misses the left, and looks to hold Lennox. When has Vitali ever had to hold in any fight other than sanders?
Since the fight with the old Lennox Vitali mostl:twak: foguht fat ****s like Williams, Peter or Arreola it is not hard to dominate theese guys if you got decent skills and are in good shape.
Vitali is neither a tomato can nor an ATG he is just a guy with decent skill and great work ethic in an era where most great athletes prefer to be a basktball or football star and the heavyweight divison is full with fat ****s like Peter or Arreola or small guys like Chambers.
not according to box rex, dan rafael, jimmy iowa, buncey, graham houston, the press row, allan green, emmuale steward etc etc...
Whether or not!
Froch had faced an 26 year unexperienced old prospect with 18 fights which never had gone the distance of 12. And it took place in his backyard!
Dirrell hit Froch he hurt Froch he slipped his punches and made Froch look like the Nikolay Valuev of the super middleweight.
If Dirrell had thrown more punches he would've cruised to an easy victory over Froch in Notthingham.
Froch as a world champion and the much more experienced fighter won the bout it was by a very small margin.
I had Dirrell wining it but as Froch said scoring fights is allways kinda subjective)
I am pretty sure if Froch would give Dirrell a rematch Dirrell would make him a clown.
Get real kid. The Eastern Europeans are dominating you. Froch, one of the crudest fighters around just beat Pascal, Taylor and Dirrell. All North American 'slick blacks'.
Where do the Eastern Europeans dominate us? I see the Klitschko's which have decent skill but are the only fighters (besides Haye) that are in shape in a divison full of poorly conditioned overweight athletes with good shape that the Klitschkos have and decent skill it is easy to dominate fat ****s like Peter or Arreola.
But besides the Klitschkos which eastern europeans do we have that dominate? Jep we have none!
The only thing they have besides the Klitschkos are paperchamps like Senchenko or hype jobs like Alexeev (lost to Ramirez) Dimitrenko (got undressed by Chambers) Shumenov (lost 2 times to Campillo) the other hype jobs like Boytsov and Golovkin will get undressed as soon as they face a real test.
K-bros are dominant. Adamek appears to be dominant despite being a midget. (Sure, Chad beat him but meh Cunningham, Arreola, Banks, Estrada make up for that).....
That's about it actually lol.
SMW... we will see.
K-Bros are dominant but fight in a weak Divison they never beat a great fighter on the other hand Wladimir was stopped by Ross Puritty, Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster.
Adamek (who lives and fights out of New Jersey) is a true warrior but he got shooled by Dawson, was outboxed by Cunningham (the 3 knockdowns saved him the decision) and after Cunningham won the Eliminator against Braithwaite Adamek was very quick in leaving the divison and fighting 41 year old past prime Golota instead of giving Cunningham a rematch.
His win over Estrada was also a controversial decision i am not saying it is a robbery but this fight showed Adamek can be beaten by every boxer with a good chin or good defense and decent boxing skills.
His 2 wins over Paul Briggs were also kinda controversial.
So i guess Adamek is far from being dominant.
Floyd will take Pacroid to shool.
Pac has no headmovement his head is gonna be there to get hit. He has to go for the knockout early Mayweathers right hand is a homing missile when he throw it it connects. Pacman has to go for the knockout early and then he will just find out what als the others found out before Mayweather is just the best fighter of this generation.
I think Floyd would have to stop Pacquiao to beat him...if Floyd elects to fight his regular style and "dance" he could win but it will be close...
Nah i believe Mayweather will win it big. Pac is so open to the righthand lead Floyd will land it freguently. Cotto and Clottey could hit him clean and both are one handed fighters.
I think Pirog would beat Golovkin right now. I've seen many fights of both of them here in Germany. And Golovkin showed several holes in his game.
Golovkin is still good and still talented so don't get me wrong but Pirog may be 1 or 2 steps to high for Golovkin.
No i would not. I think it is a mismatch on the inside and if Maidana can get inside he'll floor Khan. But as it is a mismatch on the inside in Maidanas favor it's also a mismatch in the outside in Khans favor and Khan hits hart. I till favor Maidana a little bit but Khan can win this as well.
only in america
USA USA USA
55 BUCKS
what's the problem?
Don't like it don't watch it.
Take a look aat UK's so called Friday Fight Night on SKY many of theese fights are really trash and most of thesse fighters are club fighter.
In Germany it is even worse here they show paper champs fighting against bums hyped to top contenders and all is payed by TV charges.
Hopkins vs Jones was horrible to watch yes but it wasn't that surpise so if you are into boxing you could have known this before.
And no i didn't buy the fight cause i live in germany now.
But i would have buyed it and you can watch it together with friends so if you watch it with 5 friends it's 11$ not 55$.
