Simple question, and maybe a reason. Alot of people on here see a wide UD and hype Khan's chin. I think it's going to be TKO victory for khan late in the rounds. Also not ruling out a KO in Khans favour. I also think Maidana will be hit pretty flush with a lot of punches.
I'm thinking if Maidana shows up in shape Khan is going to focus on trying to survive early and winning points
disagree w/ the bookies on this one
khan's never been a monsterous puncher
and he's going to be on his toes anyhow against chino
anybody gets stopped it's maidana
khan's gonna have to box his socks off or he's going to sleep
still taking khan on a decision when he banks late rounds
and one hell of a 12th for sure
So most people think that Khan getting a straight PWill KO won't be surprising?, TKO more than likely.
Quite surprising if you ask me although I personally wouldn't rule it out
Anyone who thinks Khan hits hard should watch the last few rounds of the Kotelnik fight and look at how every punch Khan throws is an arm punch with nothing on it.
Not only will he not be able to knock Maidana out with his arm punches, but he won't even be able to get his respect ot keep him off for 5 rounds like Ortiz did.
All my points Khan > Maidana what you say
I wouldn't be surprised if either guy got KD or KO'd.
I would be more surprised if it went the distance. I think Khan should try to KO Maidana. Twelve rounds is a long time to flirt with his kind of power. Khan seems to think his chin is better since he is not struggling to make weight anymore, and that has happened before. But he has not been hit hard since he fell, so no one knows and being hit with sparring gloves with headgear don't cut the mustard.
If he ko's him flush, Maidana does not beat ten count, then yeah, extremely surprised. A TKO in favor of Khan on the other hand is a way more realistic ending for the fight.
Maidana is a tough guy as Ortiz is a good puncher and knocked him down a few times but couldn't really hurt him. I think this fight will end in a KO one way or the other though.

No i would not. I think it is a mismatch on the inside and if Maidana can get inside he'll floor Khan. But as it is a mismatch on the inside in Maidanas favor it's also a mismatch in the outside in Khans favor and Khan hits hart. I till favor Maidana a little bit but Khan can win this as well.
Now I want chicken tikka masala, man.
Would you like some fries with that order lmao
On a serious note, there has been some good analysis and reasons from BScene peeps here. :beerchug:
If anybody wants to bet let me know! nobody seems to reply in the betting threads they all full of big fishes betting in the millions

KO either way
Maybe not a downright KO (although if does catch him with a good counter as I expect), a stoppage is perfectly feasible for Khan.
That being said, Khan better protect that china, cause Maidana will be gunning for it from the opening bell. But I believe that Khan's superior boxing ability will win him the fight. Rooting for Maidana though.
Amir has every advantage in this fight except chin, power, and heart. If Maidana can get inside of Amir's range this fight is over and a win for Marcos. If Amir can keep Maidana at the end of his punches he can completely outclass Maidana. But one false move, and Kahn is outta there. If he leaves his chin up and right hand low as he throws the left jab. Maidana is gonna hurt him. Hopefully Freddie is cleaning that up, cause he didn't clean it up for the Malignagi fight.
