Of course Margarito only have himself to be blamed for losing the fight.
But he's chances of winning went from high to almost zero just a few moments before his fight with Shane because because of the plaster issue.
It was impossible for Margarito not to be affected by this, specially in the ring where you need a lot of concentration. Its even generous to say that Marg was fighting around 50% of his total ability as a boxer that night.
True that Margarito was half hearted came fight time, but he was the only on to be blamed.
AM deserved it. I feel no sympathy for AM at all probably ruined Cintron and Cotto's career. AM should be banned for life.
There is no proof but I can see why people think he may be something.
I love Pac and PBF pisses me off but I respect his skill. Pac seems super natural, I havent seen something like him in boxing in a looong time.
The few things that jump out at me is how Pac punch count increased the higher in weight he went. The 2nd thing is the way he is totally dominating these bigger guys and taking flush shots. He is not just beating guys he is destroying them.
If I was PBF I would not fight Pac either without have him taking a blood test.
First of all, this is obviously just talk considering the fact that Margarito may not fight again, but I never thought he would beat Floyd in the first place to be honest.
I would still like to see Floyd to fight Margarito and Cotto.
I'm not going to lie, Hatton got laid the **** out... knocked dead damn near; but the boy had heart... Even after all the hard punches he took he never stopped coming forward. I can applaud at the end of the day watching that match, even though he got destroyed.
Mosley on the other hand, that was pretty embarrassing, to boxing, his family, Pamona, Black People, himself. It was an utter display of cowardice. I would never watch another one of his fights again. All that Hall of Fame talk needs to go right out of the window. Even Tyson's last fight, he swung for the fences for at least a FEW rounds... SMH... **** was terrible, I was so disgusted about that fight I went home and got drunk. And I'm not a Shane fan, and I expected him to lose, but not in that fasion, that **** was just plain pathetic.
The way Mosley lost was disgraceful, Mosley really wasnt trying to win after a certain point. I would have had more respect for Mosley if he went out on his back.
The 3 Muskaqueers, how do these clowns get put on ESPN talking about Boxing? No wonder FNF is on ESPN2, soon will be on ESPN919 Deportes.
I was thinking that too but at least they are talking about boxing which is always good for the sport.
have u seen ortiz fights after the maidana fight?
god dammmmmannnn... i used to a big fan of ortiz, now he is fighting like a total b1tch
the guy sucks, couldnt even finish off that "poodle" peterson.. LOL
what the hell hapened to his style, he used to be a total beast
Maidana took his soul.. he never had a heart
Whow, thats harash. I never did the feel the same about Ortiz after he quit against Maidana.
I feel his only problem is his trainer.... Maybe Marquez' trainer Nacho or Macho or whatever his name is. He needs someone like that. Dude really is vicious.
I dont think I can ever fully respect this guy after the way he quit vs Maidana.
Floyd has ducked many people. Im sure his fans will dispute every single name on the list but Floyd blantly ducked Antonio Margarito. Floyd probably could have beat AM on points but just wanted no parts of him.
I think PBF is thinking no way im fighting Pac without a blood test.
Lets say Pac's easy 2 hit, PBF will try and land 1 punch at a time and Pac will throw 7. Pac throws way 2 many punches for PBF 2 block them all. I think the way 2 beat Pac is a 1 punch kayo and dont think PBF can do that.
It is definitely the fighters fault why he lost but the trainer should give intelligent instructions. Clottey trainer kept saying take a chance, throw more punches. I never once heard something like when you cover up come right back and with a jab then go 2 the body. No game plan, no strategy.
I totally agree with Josh Clottey that Nelson and Quartey have no right to comment after they didnt even call him 2 wish him luck. Other the hand, I agree that Clottey's trainer did fail miserably to give him detailed instructions in between rounds.
I mean seriously this guy has DYNAMITE in both hands and has decent defense. Ward fights like he's still in the Olympics I could see him freaking out if one of those Bute Bombs lands on his ugly head, he would probably crack under pressure and get laid out like a hoe azz and running out of the ring.
Also don't even call bute a home town fighter if you're a ward fan, that guy won't leave oakland where his tiny fan base ( compared to bute ) cheers for his boring little "fights" (sparring matches)
Bute is the future of the SMW division. He will whoop your ass, AND steal your GF with his good looks. He's like calzaghe except he has power

Bute didnt even have the guts to enter the super 6. Hes hiding out in Canada. Bute is skilled though.
Thats terrible and tasteless. Dont be suprised if someone in there family gets parkinson's or even 1 of them later on in life and than they will be singing a different tune.
Richardo Mayorga vs Vernon Forest(R.I.P.) fight is what got me hooked on boxing. Mayorga wasnt the best fighter but always put on a show. I remember him sticking his chin out temping Forest to hit him.
This is good point Ive never thought about. I think Shane would go 40-0 through Floyd's resume. Floyd would have a very tuff time beating Winky Wright, Vernon Forrest, Margarito, Cotto and a young Oscar.
That is exactly what happened but I dont think many thought Floyd would response the way he did. I was impressed with Floyd. I used to think Pacquiao may give Floyd a problem but now I think Floyd will wipe the floor with Pac and probably stop him.
