this is from a totaly unbiased point of view. i think floyd beats pac by a close UD. but i dont understand demanding that pac do something NOBODY else has had to do before. if i were pac, i'd say no too.
i can understand wanting shane to take random tests, he's been caught taking peds. but pac hasnt. floyd is not bigger than boxing, if he has an issue with their procedures and feels that they are not adequate then take it up with them, not pac.
like i said, i think floyd beats pac. the only guy i'd pick to beat floyd is pwill. so i really dont understand why he doesnt just drop the random drug testing. having the fight fall apart becuz of this issue, i think is floyds fault.
so OST had been done in pro boxing b4? when? im not knowledgable enough on drug testing to argue those points so i wont. BUT if the current procedures are not good enough for floyd, take them up with up boxing not pac.
blood testing was done in boxing before but not random or olympic style testing.

That's what most people really thought so. If you believe in beating someone easily, why negotiate for cut-off days? Why even ask for a test?
I really don't care who beats who, i won't even mind if Pac gets beaten to death by floyd in the ring due to sheer exhaustion running after him.
All the people in the world just wants to watch them fight, that is all.
Don't make it hard enough and now the fraud is putting a roadblock by saying if his ppv exceeds that of pac-clottey, he will not accept 50/50 purse spilt. So you can really deduce the FRAUD FLOYD really doesn't want to fight his idol the Pacman.
The fraud is really scared.
Would you fight somebody you think might be on roids?Would`nt you want to make sure the guy you fighting is not cheating?
You just a bias Pactard.
Your false god is a fraud and a fkcing pussy. Deal with it.
Manny fans shouldn't be pissed off at Floyd for the request, they should be mad at Arum for making Manny(and Freddy) look guilty. Arum's position and his comments are utterly ridiculous and Manny fans know it. Scared of needles, lawsuits, blah blah blah. Arum hates floyd becuase he left him and went to GBP. AND YOU KNOW BOB HATES OSCAR.
I am a floyd fan. Huge. But I don't think Manny is on PED's. I can make a case for it. But he has passed every test and thats good enough. Freddy and Manny seemed willing to take tests in the beginning. Then Bob gets in with his BS and then the fight is off. Bob is THE ONLY PERSON that benefits from Manny not fighting Mayweather. Think Bob has gotten over the fact his #1 draw before manny, margacheato, got his a$$ whipped by a GBP fighter. Think Bob wants to take a chance his main draw gets embarrassed?
Look, hate floyd all you want. When Bob promoted him he said he was as good as Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard. Soon as he bought out his contract. Bob starts the BS. Floyd's request for PED's is about undermining Bob's ability to make money. It doesn't really hurt Pac because the bulk of his fanbase loves and respects him. BUT IT KILLS BOBS BUSINESS. Pac clottey drew over 50,00 fans yet the live gate was smaller than Mayweather JMM. BOB HAD TO GIVE AWAY COMPS AND FREE TICKETS THATS THE ONLY WAY THE LIVE GATE WAS SO RELATIVELY SMALL.
If floyd wins the cash cow is gone. If Manny wins, he will be in the same position floyd was with Bob, no opponents to generate $20-25 mil per fight, other than margarito but he likely wont' get his boxing lisc back. I do not think the buying public (USA only) will continue to buy pac fights against Top Rank fighters. Bob is just tryin to save his own ass and he is using Manny (as he did cotto forcing him to fight manny at 145 when cotto had difficulty making 147 for 2 years)
So we don't know if Hopkins,Ward,Dirrell,Berto,Bradley,Williams,Lopez are clean I guess??HUH?
Finally nobody is clean in this sport.
Why focusing on Pacquiao?
If Pacquiao isn't clean cuz of Nevada's poor tests, then nobody is,no double standards.
Er yeah? I don't think I ever implied that I was only talking about Pacquiao. In fact I referenced athletes and boxers as a whole multiple times.
Of the fighters you named Ward is particularly suspicious due to his Conte association.
AND HOW DO YOU KNOW NEVADA COMISSION 'S BANNED PRODUCTS LIST??
I don't (although I think it may be available on the net somewhere, I think I've seen other members reference it). I do know what the NSAC do though - and more importantly, what they don't do. Scheduled urine tests are fine for certain PEDs but they are not going to catch the more advanced shit. It's not that difficult to wrap your head around bro.
cause he wants it his way. He knows Pacquiao's team doesn't want it so obviously he wants to get under their skin and to make sure hes not on anything. I also think Mayweather is a little obsessed with his 0 losses
For a current and relevent example: all Sauerland Promotions fighters undergo "Olympic style testing".
This is boxing, man. You should know by now that if you want something done you gotta do it yourself.
Promotion companies hold more weight than state commissions these days anyway.
That's the point; we don't know whether Pac has no history of cheating! The current tests won't prevent or catch someone with that many resources available to them who's using top range PEDs.
This is SPORT, dude! All top level athletes have to be tested because they can't be trusted.

So PAC is a one dimensional easy work, easier than Marquez but he's on steroid. So what does that make Marquez? what...Super roid. So you ask the easier opponent to take OSDT but let the easier one slide LOL.
Athletes f*cked it up for themselves. Whether an individual is clean or not he can't just refuse testing in this day and age after everything that's happened and still is happening. The fact is, there are question marks over all athletes now. Refusing to take better tests that actually have a chance of catching you or stopping you from cheating only serves to harm your image, and rightly so.
That's not true. Lots of athletes and even boxers have been subjected to better testing regimes. Just none that you care about I guess.
He asked for an inch and Pacquiao offered him a millimeter. Urine tests on the day of the fight and after the fight will confirm whether or not Pacquiao has urine detectable PEDs in his system during the fight, okay. But what about PEDs that are only detectable through blood? What about the possibility of him using PEDs during his training camp (when it is in fact most likely he'd be juicing if he was)?
Hell he can,
because Floyd and Haymon are asking for it,not the comission, but a boxer and a manager.
The Nevada comission is doing his job,ask Funeka.
His job isn't perfect(Mosley,Holyfield)but so olympic tests aren't...

if i'm an honest, hard working man accused of cheating, i would be offended and i wouldnt cave in to unprecendented demands either.

and i still dont see why pac should have to do anything special for floyd just becuz floyd wants it. pac has no history of cheating. if i'm an honest, hard working man accused of cheating, i would be offended and i wouldnt cave in to unprecendented demands either.
even after mayweather accused pac of roids he still called him 1 dimensional and easy work.
but yeah, we all know floyds genuinely wants to clean the sport up. :bsflag:
Mayweather doesn't give a shit about cleaning the sport up--anyone with any sense can see this--but his little stand is still beneficial to the sport regardless of his intentions.
Would you fight somebody you think might be on roids?Would`nt you want to make sure the guy you fighting is not cheating?

i'm just usin as an example to say i can see where pac would find it insulting and disrespectful. pac trains hard, give 100% to be the best he can be, then gets accused of cheating.

i side with pac for refusing to do something nobody else has ever had to do.

and on floyds side, pac agreed to testing immediately after and before, thats not enough to satisfy him? why?

1 - how can be a pactard if i'd pick floyd to win?
2 - isnt testing b4 and immediately after the fight enough? isnt the testing the boxing commision has been doin for years enough? if its not, why not take it up with them instead of pac?
- floyd loves money and only fights for that.
- floyds biggest payday would be vs. Pac.
- floyd called pacquiao 1 dimensional and would be easy money, easy work.
So he would makes tons of money for someone he knows he can beat, yet there is no fight.
Because he knows in his heart and mind pac has the same chance of beating him as he does beating pac.
Were you just about to fight your boss? Or compete with him in some way? Did he have reason to suspect you? Would you be rewarded with a gigantic bonus and career opportunity for partaking in the tests?
Also, boxing and an office job are two very different things with different ways of operating. I'm sorry but I've heard that analogy on here a few times and it sucks.

I will say that as a Pac fan I believe Floyd beats Pac with/without PEDS. I am not against OSTs but I believe Pac is clean and has the right to say no.
Nice sig. Decribes the Flomos to perfection lol!
just becuz pac refused doesnt mean he's guilty. i woulda refused too. lets say at my job, we've never had drug testing. then my boss said he wanted to drug test me and me only, nobody else at, i'd say no even though id have nothing to hide. i'd be insulted. its a matter of principle. i think pac had every right to refuse, especially the way floyd went about it.
