The reason Margarito was so great was because he was so focused. You can see it in how he fights. He starts slow because his frenzy takes time to build, but it does build. Yes, frenzy. That's why he loves it when fighters back up. He keeps coming forward and building confidence and working up to the point where he can throw 100+ punches a round. So, when he got busted with the loaded gloves, it really distracted him and he couldn't build on that mental state. It's also why his chin looked so much less uncrackable - he wasn't in the proper state of mind to ignore the pain. So, I want to see if he can recapture that wild animal style of fighting or if he's going to be distracted for the rest of his career.

yeah, Mosley sucked against Mayorga who pretty much had a war with an overweight Vargas... Lets not forget Mosley came off a long layoff and was fighting at a heavier weight late in his thirtys againest Mayorga. Thats why he looked the way he did. Jin Mosley had just asked Shane for a divorce so Shane had heavy stuff on his mind aswell. Don't fool yourself, in the negotiations for the fight Margo took a long time to sign. It was the only fight out there at the time and they were holding out. Mosley got started to say to the media that Margo was scared and knew that he was gonna get KOed. This fight almost didn't happen. Margo is been in alot of wars and there is no telling how much he has left. The time off might be a benefit to recover. After the Cotto fight he was suppose to fight in November and still needed time to recover from that fight.

This is true,and has been completely ignored(deliberately) by most on this forum. I have been saying this since the actual fight took place. He got caught with his hands in the cookie jar moments before the fight,yet Flomo's and other assorted pac detractors say it isnt so. Assholes mate. We cant comprehend why this was so difficult for Flomos and Mosley fans to understand. The amount of emotional distraction on Marg was surely overwhelming. And thats what cost him the fight
