Very simple question. Why was NOBODY concerned before about OST until Floyd decided this was a deal breaker to fight Pac? No one was worried about it. No one was saying a word. All of a sudden Pac should have to do this after being slandered? Floyd never worried about this until a fight with Manny was being discussed. All of a sudden he should be able to change the rules at his own whim? Bullshit. If the governing bodies or state athletic commissions put this rule in effect and Pac refuses.....its all on him. Until that time Floyd is the one I see holding up the fight by trying to make his own rules. I don't want to hear anything about Floyd meeting Pacs demands. Fact is Manny didn't slander Floyd and try changing any rules. If Floyd wants this fight he can follow the same rules as everybody else. If he can't accept those rules, like he always did before, he doesn't really want to fight.
A lot of people seem to want to blame Pac. Where were all you people, and why weren't you worried before?
It's pretty amazing we still have people arguing against OST testing
Arguing against? Im wondering why no one is arguing for it now the Floyd has closed his mouth? Floyd and Manny are not the only fighters in the world yet OST has been swept under the carpet by the vast majority of people who were most adamant about it. Its just my opinion, but its seems most of those arguing were just being sheep and following Floyds lead. With out him leading the charge they could really care less. In other words, for most (not all) it was agenda driven.
Pretty amazing that for those fighters who demand for OST, arent complying with the actual procedure.. YEAR ROUND TESTING..
yeah floyd should year round test himself to prove to himself that he is not cheating
logical
If manny won't agree to full testing why would he agree to year round testing. the **** is wrong with some of you

Apparently IMAZED insinuates that there are people in the industry that had their suspicions about Pac, before! Mayweather made those accusations, although he is reluctant to to reveal in what capacity his source is privy to this info, he also fails to explain why if this rumour is circulating, how come their are no journo's picking the story up and exposing it, needless to say i did not believe what he was saying, infact i dont think anyone was insinuating Pac was on drugs pre Mayweather sr comments, which just goes to show what media whores some people are, they only think Pac is on roids since Mayweather sr made light of it.
Bolded is on the money, its the default way things are done, and until Pac refuses to submit to those rules, or there is a degree of evidence to support the notion he might be taking drugs, then we can assume he is innocent, that Mayweather is just trying to hold the fight up.

This is an old thread but I 100% percent agree with this TS...
Look at the situation now compared to March when this TS posted this..
We have Pac agreeing to test and Floyd once again finding a way out of the fight.. GOOD JOB TS..
The flomos just want to ride Floyd's dick in this issue. When the smoke settled down this time, Floyd invented OST and his vacation adventure points in one direction only. It leads to Mayweather never really wanted the fight in the first place. Flomos can't see it that is why we called them flomos.
So the fans and commissions have just given up on it, is that what you're saying? Or is it just till Floyd fights again? I mean, why isn't anyone screaming for Pac to be tested against Margs?
yeah that's exactly what i said
The commissions didn't care to begin with....so how can they give up on "non-action" ??
Did you read the outcomes of the NSAC's internal meetings regarding the matter.....it was laughable.:fing02:
They should all be tested on a randomised top down approach FULL STOP!!!!!.......not just Manny!!!
No one is hollering atm because the issue has been taken off the media agenda, and thankfully we aren't gettin 50 threads a day regarding this issue. It has gone cold......Mayweather has been charged with battery and Hatton got filmed hoovering a pile of coke.
Besides it has been argued to death on this board. I challenge anyone to come up with an argument for or against that hasn't already been written and discussed on this forum ad nauseum. We all know the arguments. Why do we need to rehash this issue? Should i begin bumping old threads as to why i think it is a good idea? We can wind the clock back 3 or 4 months. Granted it's been pretty ****ty lately with this place being turned into a TMZ and UK Sun tabloid gossip forum.....yet somehow i still find that preferable.
I already emailed the NSAC and made a thread so others could too. Their isn't much more i can do as a fan, except for show my displeasure with my wallet and forego buying PPV's.

the issue on ost became major and every flomos hollering about it only because manny didnt give floyd the psychological upperhand in the negotiation. but when manny finally said yes to find out if thats what really stopping floyd from fighting the latter went on vacation. reading between the lines of what manny did, hes saying he wanted to see if floyd really wanted to clean up the sport or hes just plain afraid to fight. when manny did agree flomos tried to deny it but they can only go far with that and now when their top dog is busy on other issues they walked away with their tail behind their legs, but once in awhile you will hear them grumble.
How about boxing outsource all testing to an independent non-profit body and eliminate conflicts of interest??
Want to know why-----> cause boxing, despite an upturn in popularity is the most poorly run sporting organisation (though organisationsssssssssssssssssss is more appropriate) in the world. None of the players care about short term pain for long-term gain.....all they want is the money baby!!!!
Keep this thread and other like it buried......OR we can start bumping all of these old threads......and then you can point out if there is one or a handful of reasons as to why the negatives outweigh the positives......
hint...there isn't!!!!

You of all people don't even care about extra testing. You just wanted your man crush to have control over the terms of the fight he never wanted.
Nobody ever cared or else they'd still be hollering about it for all fights. But as it is, those who screamed the loudest about it, still watch boxing and tons of other fights without complaining about the need for it. They all just wanted Floyd to have complete control over everything in regards to the matchup.
This is what I thought too, but people screamed up and down they were in full support of this testing. Im not knocking anyone but I have to think my first impressions were correct as we've hardly heard a peep since. I mean no ones talking about it at all for ANY other fights. Just seems a bit odd to me.
i also notice, its like no one made a thread about mosley-mora fight without blood test. did they have ost?
I doubt it. Just like the Hopkins Jones fight. No ost, and no crying from all the chillones who want only Pacquiao to have to test for his fights. ****, look at all the fights we've seen this year and how many have had extra testing?
How many times did all these idiots scream about the fight not being under fair terms and conditions?
Never.
Im bumping this thread not to flame but out of curiosity on why all the talk of OST has become just about completely silent around here. I figure there are several fights and or fighters who should be being questioned by the fans as much as Manny was. Does anybody care about OST for Vitaly-Briggs? How about testing for Andre Ward? The NSAC and NYSAC were talking about implenting more stringent testing but I've heard nothing about it in almost 6 months. Was this just a phase the fans and commisions were going through to try and force a Pac-May fight?
I realize I was as bad as anyone when I first made this thread, but lets try and keep it civil this time around if anyone wants to discuss this. This is pure curiosity on my part as I haven't kept up with what may be going on with newer testing procedures.
