Am I the only one that thinks Bute would smash ward?

I dont think its a 50/50 fight. Direll wouldnt have chickened out if that was the case. He knew he would have lost You do have a point. I think overall Dirrell would've lost eventually considering Ward's so damn versatile and he is quick enough to get to Dirrell. But i think if anyone had the greatest chance of beating Ward, Direll i think had the greatest chance because of his attributes. Bute doesn't impress me. Like one of the posters said, its easy to look amazing against lackluster competition. Ward DOMINATED a guy who defeated the 2nd best of the SMW division, Froch. Froch stylistically has trouble with boxers who have good jabs(Taylor, Kessler) and guys with speed(Taylor, Dirrell). Ward's got the best of both worlds PLUS He's a very good inside fighter. I just can't see how Froch can win this.

Direll would be tough for Ward because he has the edge in speed, power and lateral movement. Ward has better ring IQ, mental toughness, the better switch hitter of the two and would school Direll on the inside as Direll doesn't have an inside game. a 50-50 fight. I mean seriously this guy has DYNAMITE in both hands and has decent defense. Ward fights like he's still in the Olympics I could see him freaking out if one of those Bute Bombs lands on his ugly head, he would probably crack under pressure and get laid out like a hoe azz and running out of the ring. ward is a world class fighter, Bute bum fights end of story.

Ward would get caught trying to get inside, that left uppercut would be a nightmare for Ward. Bute KO around the 8th round.

I would say that from the bunch, Bute has the bigger chance because of his style. Other wise, Ward is the best plan follower from the division. Bute's style and timing are akward and fast and that's why He like Ward are still undefeated. In the same line, I think He has the better chance to also beat Froch. Love to see those fights.

More of a chance to hype up my boy Calz a little bit. About the fight between Ward and Bute, I think Bute is capable of winning but I think that Ward could also pull out a victory. Honestly, I just skimmed through the post because all saw was something about Calzaghe at the bottom. After I read your post, I read the TS post and realized that he was saying all that other stuff. I'd favor Bute because he seems to be the more powerful boxer. I think both guys can land but I feel that Bute would physically hurt Ward until he started to break down. Most people think of it as two slick counter punches fighting but Bute is a powerful puncher as well. Ward could also hurt Bute but it would have to be after rds of abuse where as Bute could stun and drop Ward with one punch.

Dirrel loses to anyone with a punch. He would be a nightmare matchup for ward because ward has no pop. But dirrel freaks out whenever he gets hit hard. Bute would run him out of the ring screaming mommy mommy
