To tell you the truth I'm happy for the pinoys coming up because it makes it allot more exciting When a mexican fights a pinoy then when a mexican fights another mexican.
somewhat of what i wanted to say. with the philipinos rising in boxing, it makes a new rivalry, and whats more exciting to watch than a Mexican fighting a philipino?(that is if your either race)
and Philipinos aint that much different from us. i met some a while back, and they shared the same thoughts as us, same interest, similar style, and even some words are alike.(i.e. tenedor)
its has seemed that Mexican fighters have been going downhill lately, and im more than happy to cheer for a philipino fighter when they fight others(like nonito donair when he fought Vic Darchinian) but i will always support my Mexican fighters, and thats only natural to do so. ;)
Barrera finally is gonna get himself knocked out and then retire i think.
The only guy with a chance against pac i have seen is marquez, he showed that when he outboxed barrera in their fight.thanks, thats what im saying. id rather see that than a barrera rematch. and Marquez already beat barrera so...
I cant get into UFC either. Some stuff is good, and its fun to watch live, but it just isnt dramatic like boxing is... idk.
The UFC PPVs are worthwhile if you like the sport, i personally cant get into that stuff. You can definetly see what all the hype is about.
ditto, rolling on the floor doesnt catch my interest...but i guess the actuall technique in that is just what i dont understand so....kinda boring for me to watch.

In one of my previous thread, i ask for advice on which to watch, the Vasquez-Marquez fight or the Morales-Diaz fight. I have Direct TV and will order it by remote thru the box. It was a 45 bucks vs a 25 bucks PPV. i dedcided to watch the Morales PPV. It was one minute left before the start of the Morales-Diaz PPV, put on a disk to record it, then ordered it. But i realized tha i changed the channel to the Vasquez-Marquez fight(changed it to see if there was a preview show). I was pissed. Then i saw the Caballero and his opponent(forogt the name). Good fight. But when i saw the Fight Of The Year(just my opinion), i am glad i made that mistake.
BTW, for the member who said i can get the PPV for 1 dollar. Thanx anyway. If i keep doing what you do, subscribe to show time, then stop it, they will eventually catch up. That 25 dollar PPV is worth it.
