Again, people still underrate boxers. This fight wouldnt be close at all. Paulie would skool him. How can guys pick Diaz by KO when Cotto couldnt even do it, Diaz doesnt have great power, and Paulie is the bigger man? Is this a joke?
Also, did you guys not see that Freitas was beating Diaz to the punch and outboxing him for much of that fight? Paulie is not a punk like Freitas and that come forward shit wont work against a master boxer like Paulie unless your way bigger then him like Cotto.
Paulie wins this one easy and Ill call him a bum if he doesnt win "atleast" 9 rounds. I cant believe anyone would think differently. 40 is alot different then 35. N'Dou also comes forward non stop and is probally a better fighter at 40 then Diaz is. Do you think Diaz would beat N'Dou? No way
i like paulie alot and hope he beats whoever is in front of him because although he does like to talk
when he lost to cotto he gave cotto the respect he deserves
no complaints or nothing
took it like a man
then gave it like a man to lovemore dam that was a great performance
I can't see Diaz doing it if Cotto couldn't, but then again, his punch output is alot higher than Cotto's.
I've never been more clueless in my entire life, I can't decide a winner.
The reason why I said KO is based on the punch output. Cotto picked his spots with Malignaggi and I think Diaz would apply pressure and throw constant punches. Overwhelming Malignaggi and catching him late. Cotto could've KO'd Paulie I think, he just needed to throw more, like he did with Judah.
I like Diaz by UD. If Cotto couldn't put him out then I doubt the Baby Bull does it. On the other hand he throws more punches and if recent judging tells us anything somewhat effective aggression is usually enough to win rounds.
