AMIR KHAN says he can become the best fighter on the planet by beating pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather. Khan was at ringside as Mayweather extended his unbeaten run to 45 with a majority points win over Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez.
And, within minutes of the final bell sounding, Khan signalled his intention to pull out all the stops to meet 36-year-old Mayweather next year.
Khan is due to meet former WBC and IBF light-welterweight Devon Alexander in New York this December with a money-spinner against Mayweather likely in the spring.

Stfu Khan.
Yea. I love defensive fighters & Benitez was amazing. I think he would have beaten any other pr greats. & Cotto is just a beast. No fear in that man. Fights whoever you put in from of him. Doesn't talk a lot of trash, or has a big mouth, (like most pr's do) over all a solid fighter. Never really liked Tito. He hit hard but, yea, not one of my fav's. Gomez was good. Ivan coldren is a great boxer. But my point is, IMHO I like Benitez & Cotto.
That's a good question. Maragarito of course, for obvious reasons. Starting not to like rios also, (like someone mention & explained earlier) Dawson's is slipping away after watching him lose his cool against Hopkins. Paul Williams after the Lara fight. Like mayweather as a boxer, but as a person, idk man, seems like he'd be stuck up or just be so full of himself & disrespect you. Pacquiao seems like a good person with a good heart, but honestly it's the Filipino fans that worship him that make me not like him. Had one Filipino guy I work with always saying "Mexican killer" see what I mean? Never really liked Amir khan, idk I just don't, his good but not a fan. Arther aberaham seemed like a solid fighter then started losing, & it went all down hill from there. Zab was good but wasted his prime, looked good at the beginning of the the mayweather fight, don really like him outside the ring. Jose Luis Castillo.... Just faded... Couldn't even make weight against Miguel cotto's brother. He's done. Juanma seemed good but his excuses & what not. Lame. De la hoya always liked him. It was hard to keep liking him cause of the whole fishnet ordeal, & many other things, but still supported him. Fernando monterial(I think that's how you spell his last name. When he got knocked out by donire I was like what the he k kinda strategy was that. He looked stiff. I know the life of a boxer is hard but a lot of these guys "were great"
Mexican boxing check list. Lets see, Pureto Ricans check, Filipinos, (with a little help from Cuba) check, & now, o, look at this, Cuba. There next. Sorry chico.
I'd say de la Hoya by UD. Why? At 154 de la Hoya wasn't as good as he was at 147, but he was still good. In the beginning anyways. When he fought Vargas & the rematch with Mosley. Martinez is fast, & has power, but Oscar had a hell of a chin, Martinez has a good chin too, but not as good as oscars. I see somewhat of a chest match at first, then Oscar being more aggressive & Sergio trying to counter. At the end they'd go toe to toe landing somewhat evenly, but Oscar with with the slight edge, ending in a UD/MD for de la Hoya. I don't see a SD. What do you guys think?
Good. I'm done with these band wagon Filipino boxing fans. Had a good run, that was there last guy. Good riddance. Leave the boxing to the Hispanics & the blacks.
id say fight night rd 3 is the best one ever made. ill destroy anybody at that game. but rd 4 and champions are good too.
Agreed. I'd also destroy anyone at that game.
