Basically each fight on the card pulled big numbers. I'm not exactly sure what the numbers translate to but I do remember Manny vs JMM's 50% *(ish) ratings was said to be literally half the country. So Donaire vs Rigo MIGHT be 33% of the countries population.
It could also be 33% of the TV share which would make it around 12 million viewers. It's about the same as his fight with Nishioka but for the Rigo fight the over all card pulled very high numbers too meaning there was more interest throughout. Actually, if I recall I'm not sure if that fight had an undercard.
Kantar Media National TV Ratings (April 12 to 14, 2013): “Ina Kapatid Anak” tops Friday, Iza Calzado’s “MMK” leads Saturday, “Domination: Donaire vs Rigondeaux” rules Sunday.
World Junior Featherweight Championship Donaire Vs. Rigondea (28.9%) / Felix Verdejo Vs Steve Gutierrez (17.6%) / Dion Rex Stanley Vs Sean Monaghan (20.5%) / Gadiel Andaluz Vs Toka Kahn-Clary (22.5%) / Nonito Donaire Vs Guillermo Rigondeaux (33.3%) vs. Kapuso

Good. I'm done with these band wagon Filipino boxing fans. Had a good run, that was there last guy. Good riddance. Leave the boxing to the Hispanics & the blacks.
Or we could just kick our all the racists and let the sport grow

bradley did 1.4.
peeked at 1.4 I heard.
1.2 average
The thing is I just can't buy that number either. Bradley was getting more than that before the Pac fight. Hate or not his exposure blew up after that.
exactly didnt bradley get a bunch of praise for doing 1.2 mil after everyone on the social media was going nuts after the first round?

We where already here even before Pac came to the scene. Not just as vocal but we here. Boxing is the 2nd most popular sport here in the Philippines. :boxing: With or without the Pinoy fighters, we'll still be following the sport.
that's the common misconception here in BS, Pilipino has longer history than just Pacquiao and the times that we did not have anyone to cheer fore we were cheering for the likes of Ali, Sanchez, Leonard, Duran, Hearns, Hagler, Jones etc...
Donaire and Rigo were trending up top on twitter. It was also a highest trending sport story on Yahoo US. That's usually a sign it did very well. That number doesn't match up with the trends at all. It's possible the later than normal time slot hurt it but then there was the Bradley vs Prov numbers which did 1.2 million. That just seems unbelievable. I wish HBO would actually release the numbers rather than having to rely on some fellas on twitter.
agree..........
I saw on twitter that it did 1.1 mil on hbo

Not to shabby for a 122 pound fight, I think.

I hope some of those people stick around. Boxing can use every fan.
